“We were there for dinner and had chicken lababdar and lamb vindaloo with some heat, along with rice and garlic naan. Both meals were delicious and had a good amout of heat (both milder and hotter options were available). The service was attentive and very friendly with our server taking time to discuss options. Staff (owner?) and our server both asked how our food was. All in all it was an excellent and pleasant meal. I will definitely go back.“

“Absolutely the best restaurant and burger lounge in Langford !! I LOVE my Black and Blue burger and always ordered it but recently ate my friend's leftovers and now am addicted to their Chicken Rice bowl. I have to restrict myself from coming here every day. “ordered lasagna last night with cheesy bread. Asked for xtra sauce and it was perfect. BP has the best cheesy bread of any restaurant I have eaten at, and I always try a restaurant's cheese toast as a barometer. Sometimes the simpelist things on the menu are a good indicator of the overall food. I am ordering the same thing again tonight. Let's hope it's as good as last night.“

“I have been twice to the Hot Dog Guys and cannot wait to go again. Awesome choices and the best veggie dog I have ever tasted. So many toppings and the bun and hot dog were fresh and so tasty. These guys are so welcoming and it is delightful to have great service with a smile as they deliver top food. Yummy! Will go back soon. Top food for Victoria and area! Try it you will be hooked!“

“A great experience and exceptional food. Simply put. I felt very taken care of at this restaurant. My water was never empty and the waitresses and hostess's made sure we felt comfortable. I have absolutely no complaints and the vibe was so nice in this place. Complimentary focaccia was super fluffy and fresh. Highly recommend the calamari and scaloppine di Maiale“

Many thanks to the kitchen for consistently creating outstanding entrees, deserts, and tea services.
Service teams were mostly exceptional - especially Arden, Sean, and Neda.

The atmosphere is choice, and the delightful hostesses will do their best to accommodate. The inside window tables have excellent garden views.

On this vacation to Victoria, we visited Butchart Gardens five of the days and dined at the Dining Room all five days.

“As soon as I entered the Tibetan Kitchen Cafe, it felt like home with notes of Sandalwood and teachings of the Dalai Lama on the walls. The food was excellent and the staff were attentive. After eating out for a week into our trip, the food here was just what we wanted; homey and healthy. I went in with a friend who never tried Tibetan cuisine and they were impressed too!“

I was able to cozy up my scooter right next to my table and sip and savour their delicious Lavender Latte while watching the florist from “Flowers on Top” select gorgeous peonies from their spring flower selection across the street. Gorgeous spot, simply delightful!“

“Tasmin was our server When we arrived, it was very busy, Tasmin seated us quickly in the "VIP" section which made my kids very excited. She was an absolute wonderful server, she was personable, funny and very knowledgable and helpful with the menu. She made our visit one of our favorite memories from our vacation. I would highly recommend this restaurant to families, it is a great atmosphere. Also, they offer a gluten free menu if you have dietary restrictions. “Sam’s london fogs have been an absolute staple in my daily life for the past couple of years working nearby Taste Cafe! No other cafe can even compare for me now because it is the world’s best london fog. There are also so many delicious food options. Some of my favourites are the veggie sandwich, peanut butter jenny bar, and the roasted pepper soup. Every day I feel lucky and excited that I get to go to this cafe!“

“Had an amazing experience last night at Earls. Everything was 💯 from walking in. Our server Shelby was incredible, never missed a thing and had all the right recommendations.“

“Went out to have coffee with my parents on a Sunday afternoon (March 8, 2026), we had a long conversation and accidentally stayed past closing as we lost track of the time. The staff member was super nice, they didn't say anything and they began the closing ritual of cleaning and shutting down equipment, we finally noticed and figured out they were closed, we apologized for staying past, and they were absolutely lovely about it, so huge kudos for nice people behind the counter.

Everyone's drinks and treats were very good too, I had an Orange Pekoe tea, I have come to expect tea to be an afterthought in cafes but it was exceptional here, the teabag was a disposable manually loaded deal and the tea was of an excellent quality so major kudos there as well.

My father's coffee was well made and he enjoyed it greatly, and my mother's hot chocolate was splendid.

The atmosphere was very nice, I will definitely visit again!

The dishes are also beautifully presented, both in terms of the container and the food itself. The space is clean and pleasant.
