“My husband and I decided to try this place out.
It was last minute and our anniversary.
We were welcomed warmly at the front door, given a beautiful top window seat.
Then came this amazing young lady named Ria, we asked her what she would recommend for starters, and she didn't disappoint with that telling us about the hummus. Sooooo good!
I was also looking for a yummy blended cocktail, she recommend a pink lemonade type drink. I had 2.
She knows her stuff.
Ria checked on us often, however the shocker came when she came by at the end of our meal while waiting for our bill and told us she took care of my 2 cocktails for our anniversary, like who does that?
BTW she wasn't even our server, although our server was amazing.
She made our evening even more special.
Oh and the food was amazing, the staff was so fantastic.
We look forward to coming back, next time dessert first, then starters, then maybe mains lolol.

“We had some 'confusion' upon checking in for our reservation - a month ago reserved a booth in the lounge. Wasn't going happen and instead were seated at a high-top table. Welcome Andrea - manager in the bar area. She worked her magic and got us a booth! She turned an upsetting letdown experience for us, into a great evening celebrating a friend's birthday. Thank you Andrea!! We do love Cactus Club...check-in was frustrating, but Andrea saved the evening.“

“What a fabulous local little Distillery located in beautiful Langley BC Canada 🇨🇦🍁 at 7897 on 240th Street...

Nice little tasting room that you can try different products that they have before buying. ( great idea as I bought five due to all the tasting we did ) and I'll be buying different ones next visit.

And Kevin is the best, and makes the tasting experience fun and knowledgeable as well. Also ( thanks for the Tour also ) 😀👍👍

The Distillery makes Whiskey, Bourbon, Vodkas, Gins, and also Liqueurs as well. With some amazing creations such as Dill pickle 🥒 Vodka ( outstanding in a Caesar ) by the way. And the Whiskey and Vodka Coffee ones are amazing in you guessed it ( your morning Coffee's ) lol...

And don't forget to head out back. ( From the side and down the ramp ) There's a Speak Easy which they have live music inside. And table seating outside on the nice days.

Also there's an open area behind the building ( huge grass field ) and they have live music nights outside as well. Plus they have Lawn Games such as Bucket 🪣 Golf ⛳ and other games also.

And don't forget the amazing food that they have ( sorry no food pictures as we were there a few hours before food service started ) but I'll definitely be going for some food next visit out...

If you're even close to the Langley area, definitely don't hesitate to go to the Roots and Wings Distillery...

You'll be disappointed if you missed out on a great experience.

“My lady and I mentioned to Jamie how much we appreciated her professionalism. She was well
informed about everything. When we had a question about the menu, or anything else for that matter, she answered everything without having to check with either the bar or the chef. A very welcome change to 99% of the service experiences we have had in Langley and the entire lower mainland. My lady and I dine out rather frequently. As we both used to work in the restaurant industry, albeit a very long time ago, we can very much appreciate Jamie’s pleasant, knowledgeable and funny approach to our experience. “Nice spot all around. Just like any other chain restaurant, nice looking, young, attractive waitresses, basically good quality foods with good flavours, obviously effective quality control measures in place all along the way. Ice cold beer glasses, and proper sized pints! Need I say more?“

“I’m actually in the restaurant now. We came in on a Saturday at 1.30 pm. We tried to order wine but were told wine was not available till happy hour at 2pm. I had a beer and waited. I tried at 2pm and was told I had a choice of one white or red house wine of which I had never heard of. I declined and decided I order wine at home. This is simply ridiculous. It’s a “upper” scale restaurant and I can’t see or order from a white list. Changes need to be made. The burger was excellent. My wife was also frustrated with the inability to order a glass of wine.“

“I love the White Rock location so was super excited to hear they were opening up a location in Fort Langley! I’ve tried almost the entire menu and every dish I’ve ordered has been 10/10. Every bite is seasoned to perfection and is absolutely delicious. Some of my favs are The Influencer and Rice Rice Baby bowls. DELISH!!!“

“I have been going to Beatniks for about 5 years. Never once have I ever had a bad experience. The food is always excellent and the service is down to earth, friendly and always excellent. This place could right a book on how to run a successful restaurant“

“Us old "foggies" love the beer shack. We even sometimes like to call it "Sawbucks South" because they love the 70s cover bands and even let us dance! Beers are ok but location is most important. I feel like there's not enough places around here that cater to our generation so I'd like to say thank you.“

“Went with a group of friends on a Friday night with no reservation and was seated right away.

Our server Jayme was knowledgeable and very helpful. Made excellent recommendations and was very prompt and polite with her service.

The food was quite good. We shared a variety of appetizers, which were all fantastic, and our mains were hot and delicious. I had the Caramelized banana creme brulêe and I definitely didn't regret that decision.“

All the drinks we got were good like the moscow mule, and espresso martini and this one shot we had. The happy hour menu is really well built! good variety of food and drinks for post dinner cravings. Luke at the bar was a real hoot to be served by. Can tell he really enjoys bartending!“
