“The live band was awesome! Strange fellows rocked the house!!! Went for dinner and to watch the live music. Service was excellent, food was your typical pub food but it hit the spot but the music was the highlight. Love a good rock and roll band to go with my beer and wings!!“

“I would recommend this place if they got rid of the old cranky server we had on Saturday. we arrived at around 1pm and waited for the meat draw. it was very busy but I have never in my life been to an establishment where you felt awkward for ordering drinks...every time we asked she sighed and snarled and kept saying ok but I told you the kitchens backed up. we understood that and kept saying it's OK we understand but why make your customers feel uncomfortable? we were going to order food but we ended up leaving instead. we also wanted to join a group of friends on the other side of the pub who had the huge table with room for us but she made every excuse for us to not be allowed to. great food and good atmosphere but I don't recommend sitting on her side of the pub.“

“I was at the Horse and Ryder pub for dinner and a live show. It happened to be Darren Lee and Mario the entertainers. This was the best entertainment our group has seen in 2 years. They interacted with the audience and made us all part of the show. It was amazing. Last but not least was the amazing staff on. Our server Samantha was one if the best we have seen in ages. Handled our two tables with ease and a smile. Such a pleasant girl. She was awesome. Her lovely smile made us feel so welcome. When you have Darren Lee and Mario again please let us know. And hoping Samantha is on the same night. ♥️“

“Great community pub, we always have excellent service from friendly, attentive, efficient and welcoming staff! The food is great, and they have excellent daily deals and happy hour! They have done some really nice upgrades with their interior; incredible artwork on the walls!
Fun place for karaoke on Thursday nights and delicious Sunday brunch!

“We had a family group of 9 people coming from different cities for brunch and they were able to accommodate us on the heated patio which was quiet so we were able to visit. The service was great and we felt well looked after. We were invited to stay as long as we wanted which was very much appreciated. Most of us ordered off of the brunch menu and the food was good and reasonably priced. A very good experience.“

“Went there for lunch today had the fish and chips and coffee the food was so good , Dan had the steak sandwich and chicken on the side perfect will be going back. The service was great and fast.“

“Very quiet local conveniently located near the river. Beautiful scenery just outside the door. There is outdoor seating and it is family friendly. We had a couple of appies and a couple of drinks. The drinks were cold and the food was hot. They had nice atmosphere and good service. We will visit again sometime.“
