“This was one of those times for me . Should I go the old burger route or try something new.
I first asked to look at a menu and was given one right away. I don't claim to be the most sushi savvy person on Google. But I know what I like .
So always go with first choice or your intuition. My food was spectacular. And I love it when the chef gets a little artistic with the plate.
Service was excellent. Prices are right.
Sadly I live across the water in the USA or I would eat here at least once a week.”

“The best ice cream in the Cowichan Valley - it's the spot we recommend all our friends try. Always new flavours, and always delicious; including some I've never had before like pumpkin pie, carrot cake, and apple pie. Caramel crunch is a family favourite. We usually buy a scoop and then walk down to the trail at government wharf.

The menu items seem to have been thoughtfully created with flavors that paired perfectly making for a meal that excited with every bite. The tenderness of both the duck and the calamari was second to none, and the pork belly delighted with complimentary flavors and both buttery and crispy textures. The service was extremely friendly and personal, a joy to be experienced. All in all one of my best meals in a restaurant in a long time. And we even brought home half a bottle of wine we did not finish. Made for a beautiful date night with my sweet wife. Can't believe it took us this long to come back and we will be returning soon.
