“Great quality and service for a small local restaurant, with not a lot of seating capacity, but still clean, good music and friendly staff, even the customers look happy in there everytime I visit, normally for pickups. I hope they can expand to a location with more seating, so we can stay longer and order more, they deserve it!”

“Great beer. We stopped in for a flight and a game of crib. It was a small little tasting room that we are told gets quite busy from time to time. We were lucky, there were not too many people inside.

Tried a flight of beer and they were all quite good. Definitely would love to have a couple of them in a can, the London Fog being one of them.”

“We love the delicious Greek dishes at Main Street Diner and we stop for lunch whenever we're visiting or just passing through Nelson. Great service and wonderful staff. We did try the fish & chips the last time. The fish was perfect. The chips not so much as a lot of them were overcooked and very brown.”

“A must visit for all craft beer lovers! All the beers are delicious! Especially the Kolsch & the Pale Ale! But what makes this place great are the incredible people who work here! I can’t say enough about the amazing service we received! Graham and Jillian were incredibly welcoming, knowledgeable, and attentive, ensuring we had the best experience from start to finish. They made the atmosphere warm and inviting, making it the perfect spot to relax and enjoy our time in Osoyoos! Whether you’re a beer enthusiast or just looking for a great place to hang out, Backroads Osoyoos is a must-visit. We’ll definitely be back!”

“what a great dinner...have driven past the Kelowna location a dozen times and while working in Nelson and looking for something different decided to order the fish, the beef and the prawn taco and the Mexican soup too..even to go the food was tasty, fresh and delicious...sooo good...see you next time, 😉😉 and already planing a dinner out in Kelowna once I get home”

“Love this cafe! The coffee is really good and the baked goods are delicious. My one complaint is that it is sooo busy - this is not a great place to sit and work on a laptop or read during peak hours. That said, we were able to find a seat even though it was packed, and the staff were hustling to get orders served very quickly. I would strongly recommend this cafe and will be back!”

“I just love this place. It is merchants like this that make Nelson such a neat city. Reminds me of things I would get in Montreal or Paris. I visit here almost every week. The cheese, the cured meats, jams, sausage rolls, pastry, baguettes and the all the rest. Most of all I love the owners and employees. What a gem.”

“They have a new chef . I have to say it was the best Sushi I have ever eaten. Holly our server was fantastic! The whole experience was amazing . I would highly recommend going . Try the calamari, not a huge portion but the best I have had being deep fried . Amazing .”

She is FUN, creative, imaginative, but also incredibly skilled at reading his energy and meeting him where he’s at each day. You can trust her to provide excellent care and that your kids will love spending time with her.”

“I’m glad I ended my night and trip here. Funny little entrance way. And you walk to the basement and into a small room that fits 20ish people. I ordered my Mezcal cocktail. It was delightful. Balanced, smooth and unique.
I had two Medicare cocktails in Nelson prior, so this made up for those.”

“My wife and I are regulars at Jackson's Hole..we stop there every time we go to Nelson and it never disappoints. The food is always perfect and the service is top notch. Our two favorite servers Kyla and Sarah always go above and beyond to make our visit the best. Clive the owner is a great guy and is always great to visit and chat with. The atmosphere is very comfortable and welcoming. We would highly recommend this restaurant.”

“I used to come here a loooot for Hot Choc but recently tried the Nelson fog (which is just a superior London Fog). Drinks are always 10/10 and idk if he is cheaper than other stores (not a local) but he for sure isnt expensive.
Also if you so wish you can talk to him about anything and get great conversation with your drink.”

“My husband & I enjoyed sandwiches with chips! Mine was on a house-made Egg Roll, that was delicious. We also got a bowl of soup to split- the soup for yellow split pea! SO GOOD! came with sourdough. We also bought a cookie on our way out for later. Also delicious! I would eat here more if I could as we were just visiting. Definitely recommend for a mixture of food options & choices! Sweet & cozy atmosphere!”

“I highly recommend Nelson Sushi Wood! I had salmon and tuna Nigiri, rainbow roll and ebi sunumono. The raw fish was buttery soft and almost melted in my mouth! I haven't had sushi this amazing since I moved from Victoria 25 years ago. Thank you!!!”

“Best sweet snack around! They also don't have a ton of garbage in them, if you have any little ones running around they are going to love these. You might think they are a tad more expensive than other cupcakes but you pay for quality here, well worth it. Give them a try!”

“I had the most delicious cake at my friends house the other day from Cake Betty. It was so wonderful that I feel compelled to write a review. Today I went to Cake Betty with another friend who bought the most beautiful small cake for a birthday gift. The owner gave us each a cupcake to enjoy. It was the best cupcake I’ve ever eaten - white cake with butter icing and a little bit of caramel sauce. So delicate and satisfying - I could have eaten three of them :)The bakery is so cute - like a tiny bakery in London, or the West Village. A lovely historical building with a sweet little store front. Go to Cake Betty - you will not be disappointed:)”

“I have fond memories of going to Selkirk and getting a muffin and coffee at the Dominion to study. I stopped in late Sunday and thankfully I could grab and espresso orange, and strawberry/rhubarb white chocolate (the famous pear and white chocolate were long gone). The new owner is so kind and added fresh juices/smoothies/shakes to the menu as well as ‘hot’ breakfasts with eggs, bacon and the like. Improving on a downtown standard is impressive.”

“Food was really good and our server was one of the best ones we've had in a long time! She was really personable and kind. Loved her!
My chicken slouvlaki was so tender and juicy, all the flavors were right! Our table got a pizza, calamari, ceasar salad and pita bread with tzatziki. Everything was good!
Only thing was the hostess put us in the back corner of the restaurant when there were nicer tables available and the restaurant was not that busy. It was a bit odd but still would recommend this restaurant to anyone passing through!”

“Great food and service! The cocktail list is interesting and creative. I had the Marlin Brando. Sweet and tart deliciousness. They have a lunch special that sounded really good but I chose the Yum-Son noodle bowl. The meat was done perfectly and the sauce and other “stuff” was fresh and tasty. My boyfriend had the yellow curry. Also excellent! My only negative was the tip prompt on the pos terminal started at 22%.... I think that’s an industry trend though.”
