“Haven’t been there in about 5 months, and actually on my way there. First time I went I was greeted by the sweeter lady that ever graced this country. She was helpful, shared some fun and good stories. The selection kept getting better as I am a fan of the taste but can’t drink it due to religious reasons. Safe to say I hope this store stays in business.“

“Great food with large portions and friendly staff. The pictures others posted the plates seemed smaller but they are actually quite large. Loved the pita bread, very fresh and soft. The ceasar salad was tasty as was chicken and rice. Potatoes were a little plain but otherwise cooked nicely. It was fairly busy today from people watching the Blue Jay's game.

I came to this restaurant as neighbours spoke highly of it. I lost one neighbor late last year (Diane) and it was her favorite restaurant next to Ambit.

I will be returning here and so will a friend who treated me to dinner and drinks. We both thought it was a wonderful place. Though both of us admit we thought originally it wasn't a restaurant based on its name.“

“I've been playing hockey at this arena for 15 years and Boomers has always been a great place to go eat before or after a game. I've always had great service from Mady and sadly now myself and my team no longer go to restaurant after game unless Mady is working as the service from others has been terrible.“

“We are fans of Indian cuisine. Sahota live grill Langley is an awesome restaurant. The daily lunch buffet made it possible for us to try and enjoy different dishes at once . Our taste buds explored, but not spicy burnt. The live Chaat station was exceptional. We are glad we visited.“

“We got the teriyaki boxes, and everything was amazing! The chicken was tender and flavorful on a fresh bed of lettuce and bean sprouts, with crispy spring rolls, a citrusy salad, flaky tempura, a delicious roll (we had Dynamite and California), and warm miso soup. Everything was fresh, tasty, and made with care. Great service too! Definitely a new favorite on Renfrew!“

“Ordered the vegetarian combo through DoorDash and Uber Eats, and both times were excellent! I've been to almost all of the Ethiopian restaurants in the city and this has the best veg combo. Portions were generous, everything was spiced perfectly, and I love that they include beets. The injera is tangy and not dry like some other places.

Kudos to whoever was cooking today (Oct 30)! Looking forward to trying their other dishes.

Note to the owner - the Uber Eats app now has a glitch where you can't order a veg combo for one without being charged double, so I ordered on DoorDash instead.“

Ordered Bhelpuri, Pavbhaji and Pani Puri. Pani Puri was the best followed by Pav Bhaji. Bhelpuri was okay not as great. Followed by a rich masala tea.

Service is great- Plentiful free parking available.

Looking forward to doing dinner here soon.“

“I went with friends for a birthday dinner. The food was great, and the restaurant has a classy feel. Our servers, Rachael and Ritish were very warm and genuine. They presented the birthday girl with a delicious lava cake(looked beautiful on the plate)and sang happy birthday 🙂“

But then the Staff is always friendly and the people there are friendly and always a good time . Service is always consistent.I’m GF/LF all I know is that I have had food there and never woke up bloated or water retained .“

“Nothing better than service with an attitude here for a hockey tournament, they closed the door said they’re at capacity despite several empty seats. The staff was super disorganized and only one waitress was bringing our food and drinks she’s run off her feet, while the two others focus on telling people they’re at capacity. Terribly run and unfriendly service except for one gem of a waitress“

that said, it's cheap as heck, and they know once you're on your 4th beer you're not running straight anyways, so why bother invest?

would this place attract significantly more clientele if they spent 100k renovating? no, probably not.

it's a 4 star experience and that's fine. it's cheap and fun enough. like an old Honda Accord, run it into the ground.“
