I simply have to share our fantastic experience with the Columbia Street Sandwich Company in New Westminster! When my son Adam got married on July 5th, we had a large wedding party staying at the Inn at the Quai, and the morning-of fueling was a top priority. We needed a vendor who could not only prepare delicious breakfast and lunch but also deliver it precisely on time to our hotel. And let me tell you, Sam, the owner, and her incredible team absolutely knocked it out of the park!

Breakfast was a dream come true for ten hungry people getting ready for the big day: a perfect combination of delicious breakfast sandwiches, fresh baked goods, a vibrant fresh fruit plate, and a carafe of piping hot coffee. The best part? Sam herself delivered it right on schedule!

Lunch was equally impressive, featuring a delightful mix of mini croissant sandwiches, a hearty veggie plate, and a refreshing assortment of water and juices to wash it all down. And again, delivered on time by Sam!

Beyond the fantastic food, the value for dollars spent was truly exceptional. Sam was the epitome of professionalism, never once trying to upsell us or push for more than we needed. She genuinely cared that everything went smoothly, and it absolutely did.

As vegetarians, we were delighted when she offered us the option to substitute hashbrowns for meat in the Berry Vanilla Crepe Breakfast. “Haley made our visit to Lulu Island Winery a wonderful experience. He was so welcoming and was extremely clear in communicating the details of each wine. I would definitely recommend making a stop to try their ice wine. His demonstrations and responses to our questions were fantastic!

Willoughby is Absolutely Beautiful, so well thoughtout, laidout, great colors, fabulous decor. The Food,... well i had the brunch lunch steak and eggs taco. Thats Right, sweet jesus,.SO GOOD. The Wife had the Noodle Salad Bowl with spicy peanut sauce, again, Great Presentation, very fresh, cruchy, perfect noodles with grilled chicken. Cathy had a Flight of mimosas, me... CranSoda. “Absolutely amazing! My favourite go to sushi spot since 2021 since it’s so close to my home. Staff is nothing but lovely and food is always great. The yam roll is a fan favourite amongst all my friends. Really enjoy the food and the atmosphere and service!“

“Best Ling Cod and Chips i have had in a long time. Very crisp tempura like batter, not greasy. Large thick portions of very fresh Ling Cod that melted in your mouth. Fries were also very good. The only thing that would make this place better is being on the waters edge, not a parking lot. But it certainly won't stop me from going back. Two thumbs up!“

“Do not expect to get a table here. There were only 2 seats when we visited, so expect to get takeout. The waiting time for takeout was only 15 minutes on a Saturday for lunch.

We got 5 rolls, and the fish was very fresh and from Japan. Our favourite roll was the Yuki House Roll which is 5 pieces, but generously stuffed full of multiple fish. The Salmon Oshi was also pretty good, but a little too much sauce for our preference.

Would recommend if you're craving really fresh takeout sushi.“

“I think this Brewery is a 4.5 star but no google option to do that and I can't rate it a 5 star.

A fun and trendy hangout among a group of great breweries in the area. Some good sours. I like they got creative with the pizza but in the end it's a lot of dough and not enough topping.

Pizza is a bit pricey and the beer 10% pricier then the Brewery average.
Patio is great as well as the indoor seating. Some parking and the staff were all really friendly.

I do recommend the place and perhaps they will change the food menu by my next visit.“

“This is my second time coming to sweet talk, the previous time I had a mini egg donut, this time I had their egg and cheese breakfast sandwich. I must say they were both amazing, and the prices are very affordable! All of their products are homemade. The atmosphere was very bright, cozy and inviting. The bathrooms were very clean and nice smelling( including the hand soap). when I walked in, I was greeted by Kate who not only told me about all the products but we ended up having a full on conversation! It was very pleasant talking with her, Kate brang my food to me plus asked if I wanted anything else. This is the true meaning of customer service; these days it’s hard to find! “Just had a coffee in Presso Cafe (used to be Waves Coffee). Still early days as owner was also behind the counter, helping out. It has a warmer atmosphere than Waves and there seems to be a wider range of eatable items.
I enjoyed my filtered coffee and peach loaf.“

Great place to sit, relax and enjoy the delicious craft brew. Lots of seating, covered and uncovered. I got the flight for $12, which includes choice of 4 beers.

They took care of the bill and understood that I had made an honest mistake. The manager Micheal was very understanding. It shows how well they take care of their costumers.“

“My partner and I arranged to have high tea today and the experience was just PERFECT 👌. They had a table setup for us in the corner where there was lots of natural light from outside and the table just looked so cutely prepared for us. The staff were very friendly and quick to assist us. We chose the Strawberry Sundae tea which was infused with so many flavours making it very delightful to sip on. And when the bakery items were brought over there was a good assortment of yummy foods. The top of the tier was all of the desserts and the bottom was all of the pastries. Both of us did get a bit of a sugar rush, to be expected of a bakery haha. We both highly recommend Cassandra Cake Co. for high tea as well as any custom bakery requests.“

“My girlfriends and I went to this place to try and we were pleasantly pleased with the service and food. We ordered the One Meter Special Roll for 3 people that included 6 rolls. We also ordered the Shrimp Sashimi cooked twice. Everything was yummy, service was great and the atmosphere/deco was pleasing. Street parking is available in front of restaurant or across the street at the supermarket parkade. Definitely, we would try this place again.“

Returned for the Monday Special small 2-topping $4.95 no limit.
Arrived before opening, noticed the oven was being pre-warmed so they were ready pretty quickly after ordering. These are made to order and being thin-crust don’t need a lot of cook time.
Purchased 3: mushroom/pepperoni, ham/pineapple and double pepperoni (see pics).
Remembered to order well-done.
These were measured at almost 9”.
Didn’t expect a lot of toppings for that price.
Good price for a decent fire fried pizza.

Oct. 18/25:

This Toronto-based franchise is owned by a N.Delta local who invited us for lunch. The menu is large so we asked and ordered based on a few popular items:
Meat Lovers Pizza (S) $16.95, Carbonara $15.95 and Gar-Parm Wings (S) $7.95.

The dough is made fresh daily, hand-stretched and topped in front of you, today by Kanchan.
Then off to the fast fried oven for a charred crust, with the pasta and wings for a slight smokiness. If you like an extra crispy crust ask for well done.

We loved the creaminess of the carbonara with the perfectly cooked linguini, the crispy wings that were moist and tender inside and the pizza with quality toppings that were the right amount.

They offer every Monday $5 small 2-topping pizza (only slightly smaller than the 11”) with no limit.

Inside has tables for dine -in… bright, clean, music and tv for viewing.
Parking in front is shared with another franchise, with additional mall parking behind.

We’d order again when ready for another thin-crust pizza fix….with wings. Yummy!“

“Love this Cafe! The vintage Mercedes-Benz models R107 and auto showroom/luxury vibe mixed with café comfort brings a warm and fresh atmosphere to this new café. The perfect place for community gatherings and hanging out with friends while enjoying a good coffee and bite. I highly recommend the mortadella and pesto sandwich. Really recommend and will definitely be coming back for my study sessions and with friends. Get their ‘special’ menu items, it’s genuinely a big cut above standard phó/vermicelli. Had number 37, I’m gonna come back and get it every time (I’m that kind of person). The portion wasn’t big but the amount of meat was generous for the size and the flavour was excellent. Well balanced and spiced and will plenty of veggies to put in as well as garlic and thai chillies on the side. Not greasy, not too salty.
It’s chill in here, I like the decor and the staff are friendly. They give you a good sized pot of tea and in general aren’t going to check up much but that’s okay with me.“

“This is one of my favorite coffee shops in the neighborhood. They offer great options for pour over coffee, and during my recent visit, they had two different espresso bean choices as well. Their pastries are amazing; the almond croissant I had was large and definitely worth the price.

The music can be a bit loud, so it might not be the best spot for a business meeting or studying, but it’s still a great place to visit. The only area for improvement would be their customer service.“
