I simply have to share our fantastic experience with the Columbia Street Sandwich Company in New Westminster! When my son Adam got married on July 5th, we had a large wedding party staying at the Inn at the Quai, and the morning-of fueling was a top priority. We needed a vendor who could not only prepare delicious breakfast and lunch but also deliver it precisely on time to our hotel. And let me tell you, Sam, the owner, and her incredible team absolutely knocked it out of the park!

Breakfast was a dream come true for ten hungry people getting ready for the big day: a perfect combination of delicious breakfast sandwiches, fresh baked goods, a vibrant fresh fruit plate, and a carafe of piping hot coffee. The best part? Sam herself delivered it right on schedule!

Lunch was equally impressive, featuring a delightful mix of mini croissant sandwiches, a hearty veggie plate, and a refreshing assortment of water and juices to wash it all down. And again, delivered on time by Sam!

Beyond the fantastic food, the value for dollars spent was truly exceptional. Sam was the epitome of professionalism, never once trying to upsell us or push for more than we needed. She genuinely cared that everything went smoothly, and it absolutely did.

“I'm a New West resident and have been going to Steel & Oak probably since it first opened and any time I have served growlers of their beer at gatherings on my deck, people have loved it. I recently went there with a group of non-New West friends and everybody enjoyed the beer, food, service, atmosphere and vinyl collection. As I was paying my tab there was a problem with the credit card machine and I was inadvertently charged twice. When I dropped in to explain what happened the staff were super friendly and helpful in getting me a refund. I’ll continue to tell people how great this place is and be in on a regular basis.“

“Well Now,... THE HARD BEAN BRUNCH CO. Their Willoughby location is as stunning as their Port Moody operations. Willoughby is Absolutely Beautiful, so well thoughtout, laidout, great colors, fabulous decor. The Food,... well i had the brunch lunch steak and eggs taco. Thats Right, sweet jesus,.SO GOOD. The Wife had the Noodle Salad Bowl with spicy peanut sauce, again, Great Presentation, very fresh, cruchy, perfect noodles with grilled chicken. Cathy had a Flight of mimosas, me... CranSoda. “We've done takeout a number of times and we have been extremely happy with all our orders. Our usuals are salmon sashimi, chopped scallop roll, dynamite roll, and salmon maki. Sashimi is always fresh, firm, and tender (never those tough scrap pieces). Rice is really good and never mushy nor dry.

Really good value for the quality.

Staff are super friendly. Ordering and picking up are convenient.“

“Best Ling Cod and Chips i have had in a long time. Very crisp tempura like batter, not greasy. Large thick portions of very fresh Ling Cod that melted in your mouth. Fries were also very good. “Highly recommend Panorama Indian Lounge for their delicious Indian (North Indian and South Indian) menu. We asked their manager to organize a home catering for a gathering of 50 in West Vancouver. Chef and his team came out providing an incredible Live Dosa and Gol Gappa table along with a variety of delicious vegetarian food, including dessert. All the guests raved about it! In pre-planning for this special event we went to the restaurant several times to meet and discuss the menu options as they have a variety and we wanted to sample their menu. We were always impressed with how delicious it was. We were and still are very grateful in how everything was so well managed and the personal attention given by the manager and wonderful Chef. They were very professional, thoughtful, and both provided excellent suggestions to please a diverse crowd, including many Indian guests who are great cooks themselves. Thank you Panorama Indian Lounge in making a Celebration of Life all the more special and meaningful. We look forward to coming back and have you cater a special upcoming Birthday!“

“Retro vibe with beer names that will make you smile and go down memory lane. The names get me every time and I will admit I often order by name and do not even look at the flavor of the beer. I have had few I did not like but they were drinkable. The pizza is available at different times on certain days. I would suggest making plans to plan the visit when you can get the pizza. The Return of the Mac is so far our favorite and we destroy it and will forget our drinks as we are so focused on the pizza.

Vibe is great, the drinks are great and pizza is amazing. Staff are super chill this is a place you can spend hours at and just get lost in the moment.“

“My friend and I stopped off here for some refreshments during our bike ride around Ladner. It's a bit off the beaten path but not too far, as it's a working farm. Great place to sit, relax and enjoy the delicious craft brew. Lots of seating, covered and uncovered. I got the flight for $12, which includes choice of 4 beers.

“My partner and I arranged to have high tea today and the experience was just PERFECT 👌. They had a table setup for us in the corner where there was lots of natural light from outside and the table just looked so cutely prepared for us. The staff were very friendly and quick to assist us. We chose the Strawberry Sundae tea which was infused with so many flavours making it very delightful to sip on. And when the bakery items were brought over there was a good assortment of yummy foods. The top of the tier was all of the desserts and the bottom was all of the pastries. Both of us did get a bit of a sugar rush, to be expected of a bakery haha. We both highly recommend Cassandra Cake Co. for high tea as well as any custom bakery requests.“

“Just had the burger of the month, the Fall Forage smash with the falafel patty, and a stout. Both were awesome. Falafel was super fresh and tasty. I've tried most of their beers, and kombucha, and I appreciate that they are all really different, and don't all just taste like hops. Love that they added a food menu! Nice to be able to get good hot food instead of just snacks, like a lot of breweries. This is one of my favourite places. Would recommend.“

“Ordered from here through UberEats we got the family meal plus we added ribs to the order. If we do this again probably get the family deal without the addition or ribs.

The Brisket was amazing literally falling apart nicely flavored. The ribs were also amazing as well as the pulled pork. We also got the sliders came with 2 of each pulled Pork slider and Brisket slider.

The BBQ sauce which you will definitely want extra of is amazing. Smokey, tangy, sweet. The beans are great as we're the macaroni. The coleslaw was amazing. The potato salad was average.

“I walked in right when they opened on Sunday and they welcomed me bright smiles eager to help! They have an extensive smoothie/acai bowl menu...plus all have a vegan option! Yum! Their menu is very creative and the bowls are HUGE with reasonable prices! I also purchased their own line of clean vegan protein! Their product has the highest amount of grams of protein per grams of powder compared to other vegan protein powders I've tried! Plus it has all the amino acids! When I'm local again, I know where to go!“

Really !! Kids can come with better excuse.. I'd Rather go to other places at least for Pav Bhaji.. Today I went for Sev Puri and yea that was decent .. but not Praiseworthy ..“

“Tried this place today for take out and I am satisfied—every thing in my bowl is fresh and not overly seasoned; just the right taste! Price is also reasonable: $14 ish for two proteins. The young guy (probably a college student) who served me was pleasant and cheerful (yes I can tell despite he was wearing a mask). I am impressed by his professionalism because at this kind of take away place, or food court, the staff are usually expressionless/robotic as if they are forced to do the most boring job on earth.
