“We love this cozy neighborhood spot - the coffee is always great, the staff is friendly, and the atmosphere is perfect. However, we were surprised to see a $3.75 charge for a soy babyccino, while the regular dairy version is $3. A 25% up-charge for a simple swap feels steep, especially for those with dairy allergies. We’d love to see more reasonable pricing for plant-based options! Thanks for considering!

“Barrio is one of the better places to get your coffee in Vancouver and if you live or are anywhere in North Van, this is a place you definitely want to go. Coffee is reasonably priced and there is seating inside to enjoy your coffee (appropriately safe during Covid restrictions). The cafe also sells beans if you need beans for home. P.s if you’re an Aussie or a Kiwi you’ll love it as Barrio is run by an Aussie, so you can expect good standards.“

“This is my favourite coffee spot on the north shore! I really loved the atmosphere. It is so cozy and nice. I love the lights inside and the way they serve you a teapot for your tea! Their pies look so goo but sadly they're always sold out when I go. Their staff are so nice, friendly, and are very welcoming. Great place if you're looking for a cozy coffee shop especially on a rainy day in Vancouver.“

“We had our wedding here and they were absolutely amazing. We had a medical emergency during the wedding and the staff were attentive, and handled everything with sensitivity. They helped make a hard time a little easier. It was also the best wedding food I’ve ever had and several other guests came and told me the same thing. The bartender, Logan, was absolutely phenomenal and our guests absolutely loved him. Overall, a really great and positive experience!“

“This is one of my favorite locations. It’s easy to get to and in a nice location. You can even go visit the gardens just across the drive. The food is always delicious and my drinks are always made perfectly.“
“I got a trenta strawberry acia lemonade and the two girls at the frount counter were awsome!! Ive only been to starbucks a few Times so i had a few questions that were quickly and kindly awnserd. One of them suggested for me to try the strawberry coldfoam in it and im beyond happy i did! Super great service and amazing drinks!“

“It's a lovely shop though it can be hard to find seats at times. Very popular, they have a laptop study room almost near the back. There's also outside seating when its not too cold. I stop here every time I'm in North Van.“

“Today I was so happy to discover this little Korean-style café inNorth Vancouver . The food was absolutely delicious, and the coffee was even organic! Usually when I come to the NV area, I only visit a few of the well-known cafés, but this time I searched on Google and found this five-star hidden gem — and it truly lived up to the rating.
The staff were very friendly and welcoming, always with a smile. The breakfast and brunch menu was really interesting — even the avocado toast came in several creative variations, and the prices were very reasonable. We ordered the Avocado Egg Sourdough Toast and the Bibimbap Bowl for 10.99, with extra mushrooms. Everything was freshly prepared by the chef, so it arrived warm.
Their special sauce was unique — a little spicy, a little tangy — drizzled over the avocado toast, paired with fresh salad greens that really boosted the appetite. The beef was also seasoned perfectly, very flavorful, and the coffee was rich and aromatic.
Definitely a place I highly recommend!“
