“I recently ordered Ja Jyang Myun on doordash from this restaurant after hearing about the dish from a friend.

I’ve never had Ja Jyang Myun before, and i really enjoyed it !!! Although I don’t have much to compare it to, i thought the black bean sauce was awesome and the portion they give you is massive. also a very generous side portion of rice which came steaming hot.

“Order of take out TteokBokki + Veg Tempura and the Veg Gimbap, both were excellent. They also included some free shrimp crackers and a discount coupon for next time. We are the group of eight people with two children who visited the store last Saturday night. We were waiting for a large party table at the Korean restaurant next door, but after waiting for 40mins, we were told that they can’t accommodate our large group sue to limited space. While disappointed that we were not able to enjoy the food from that restaurant, especially with two hungry one-year-old who were at dinner time ?,we were hoping to order takeout from this restaurant and eat next door at Chicko Chicken (nobody was dining in at that moment). Angela graciously allowed us to come in and stay so we don’t have to stand outside in the cold winter night and figure out the alternatives. We ordered the take out, and some delicious chicken from Chicko Chicken. It was a memorable night!! Everyone in our group wants to express their sincere appreciation for Angela solving our awkward situation. “Ordered a few takeaway bowls from this lovely Korean restaurant in Burnaby. My favorite was definitely the bulgogi bowl and the spicy pork bowl. They were super filling and tasty. I couldn’t finish it all.

“I've frequented here many times now and I have to say its a great little gem hidden by Coscto! Hands down the best chicken burger, they give you a full breast and always fresh!

If you're craving a fried chicken cooked to perfection every time, this is it. It's not your standard greasy oily burger either. Looks to be run by a Korean mom and her kids. You can tell, there's a lot of love put into frying!

“One of my favourite spots for Korean food. The bibimbap was in a stone bowl and I had it with Korean fried chicken which was absolutely delicious. The staff is always friendly and super nice and gave my group pork cutlet to go with our meal. Highly recommend this place!!“

“My husband and I love eating out at Dolpan! I always get bulgogi hot plate and my husband gets stir fried bulgogi noodles. They both come in a skillet. So delicious🤤 They also come with soy potatoes, kimchi, and rice. We always leave stuffed and still able to bring a bit back home. Highly recommend!“

It was a shame that there weren't many Korean restaurants near Edmonds, but it's a delicious place that's just right without being salty :) This place is run by the owner of Angel Food, which is famous for its cost-effectiveness and taste in Lougheed! All of the leftovers are delicious, and the ‘Han Sang’ menu is really good value for money (first of all, the taste is basically guaranteed). Although the menu changes every day, it’s a shame that I can’t eat the menu on other days, but I think I’ll come here more often! It's not a review event at all. I really like the owner's food so I wanted to spread the word to many people haha. Please try it at least once.“

“Service is really good. Highly recommended. The meat in barbecue combo is nice- tender and tasty, especially the marinated pork and beef, though the portion can be more.

Tofu kimchi soup and the vegetable salad that came along with the barbecue combo were really good!

The portion of small Gamjatang is generous, though I feel the taste is average.

“Wow! We had a great meal here at Joon's Kitchen. We ordered a tonne of food for the table. The standouts for me are definately the Korean Tacos and the Sweet spicy/sweet soy fried chicken. These were just delicious. We also ordered Bibimbap (beef, chicken and veggie). These too were just amazing! California Roll and Unagi were also on point. Korean ribs would have better BBQ'd and were too fatty. But, that's always a risk when you order them. Overall, a great little Korean gem of a restaurant! “I came here because it's said to be the hottest Korean restaurant in Vancouver, and it truly is a clean, delicious, and friendly place. Everything on the menu is tasty! I'm a naengmyeon (cold noodle) enthusiast, so I even come here in the winter, and it's definitely the best in Vancouver! The galbi (grilled ribs) was also incredibly tender and delicious. You can't go wrong with anything you order at this restaurant!“

“This Korean BBQ spot is absolutely one of my favs in Lougheed. The pork and beef bbq and also side dishes were as flavorful as they were plentiful. The bibimbap was super comforting and the soups were rich.

“I have wanted to try Korean food other than Korean barbecue, but did not even know where to start. With dietary preferences, we can’t enjoy the multitude of Korean restaurants. With some googling (thank you review community!) we came across #chibop and had such a wonderful Food and sensory experience.

This family owned establishment really caters to an English speaking crowd, with food items well explained on the menu. They have a separate vegan section, which is full of all sorts of goodies.

We had the
1. seafood pancake, which was sublime. sautéed caramelized vegetables and tender seafood coated in a fluffy yet crispy pancake batter.

2. The Japchae was full of bright, just the right size vegetables. Noodles cooked to gooey perfection, and a generous serving.

3. And the Mandu with the sweet, spicy sour sauce were filling and fun to eat.

I enjoyed a white peach soju spritzer with the meal.

The owner Pera and her staff are very friendly and were helpful with our questions around the food.

“Seen many Korean street side chicken places on You Tube. Decided to give this a try for the first time . Went to the location on Canada Way. Ordered the family Sweet Soy Chicken & Fries Took awhile to prepare the food (15 mins) No wonder ,huge amount of chicken box was packed full. Large pieces very flavorful, not greasy at all like Churches grease feast j chicken . Fries were amazing .I found a new go to place to buy chicken for a game . A tad pricey, buy I assure you very well worth the money . If this place franchises, they will give KFC & Churches very serious condition . My first time there , highly impressed. I highly recommended you try this. Will not be disappointed. Very pleasant staff. Simple decor, but the service & food will amaze you . Thank you so very much for an amazing meal.
