“The following items are confirmed vegan as of 2026 by moi making staff get out the biiiig book of ingredients: - gomae seaweed salad - Good Filling onigiris, the jalapeño miso, mushroom or seaweed (on the days they stock it, I believe it is Tuesday and Friday) - tofu salad with spicy dipping sauce - inari sushi - veggie rolls - avocado rolls - veggie bento box - some premade mochis Not vegan: - yam tempura roll - all the desserts - 80% of the store is a fish or contains a fish They have nato in the freezer, a good selection of rice and noodles, miso, and a few vegan seasonings like tamari, rice vinegar but I’m serious check for dashi (fish sauce) it is hiding everywhere. I’ve eaten in some of the fanciest Japanese restaurants in some of the world’s biggest cities including Vegas, Vancouver, San Francisco, Toronto and more. “We ordered delivery and WOW—hands down the best sushi I’ve ever had! If it’s this incredible delivered to your door, I can only imagine how amazing it must be dining in at the restaurant.
Here’s what we ordered:
- Salmon sashimi & salmon sushi: The fish was incredibly fresh, served at the perfect temperature, and melted in my mouth. Absolutely out of this world.
- Tuna tataki: Beautiful presentation and absolutely delicious.
- Salmon & avocado roll: 12/10. Flawless. Super fresh, with perfectly seasoned rice.
- Beef don: So good! The beef had a wonderful grilled flavor, was well seasoned, the portion was generous, and it arrived piping hot.
- Beef yakisoba: This was the least impressive dish of the order, but it was still very good. Generous portion, well seasoned, and it also arrived nice and hot.

Overall, I would absolutely recommend this place. I’ll definitely be ordering again, and next time I’d love to dine in and experience the restaurant in person!“

“A very lovely place that I’m glad is in the downtown area. I haven’t tried all of their options, but their Onigiri is very well-prepared and the only thing I find myself eating if I need a quick lunch. Fairly priced, too, making going there often affordable.

Their imported items are amazing and vast in terms of what they have, along with having an array of great-tasting items. Their canned coffee is a personal favourite of mine. To mention, their staff is incredibly hospitable and helpful, and, at least from what I’ve personally experienced, have a stellar memory when it comes to regulars. Can’t recommend this place enough 🥳“

“Awesome family run business. I've been to at least a dozen sushi places, but nothing can top this. My ONLY criticism is that there is very limited space, so it can be tricky to get in. But even then, take out or delivery is an option! You can tell it's freshly made, and both the monkey brains (I know it sounds good, but try it) and the new red kimono roll are delicious! “Love this place and eat here often (it is a mall food court place, but decent for that). However, as a vegetarian it's quite frustrating sometimes because they never keep enough veg ramen in stock. It's always sold out very early in the day.

My husband and I have been coming here for almost 8 years now. We always do the all-you-can-eat menu and leave feeling very full and satisfied. We live in Langford and always make the drive because it’s so worth it.
