“Oh my… this was quite an experience! When going there, letyourself be surprised by the Chef’s Menu (Menu dégustation in french). Surprise after surprise, it will make you live a real culinary experience! And our waiter (fluently bilingual) was excellent and vey passionate! Along with the lady who brought each plate and explained to us what they were. And finally the manager, I believe, who came over a few times to talk about the plates, the wine and how the pasta were made the same day, very early in the morning The wine suggestion was also perfect! Finally, the décor is not at all what you would expect, from looking at the menu on the web-site; very fresh, young, modern, yet very warm decor! Please go and try this place. I will definitely be back when travelling to Vancouver. Merciiii!“

“Long story short, their pasta was the bomb. They make it fresh right in front of you and it’s just an absolute winner. Simple as that. We had pasta in Italy and I would say they are comparable. If you’re a big pasta person, this place is definitely for you. That being said, the almond semifreddo dessert was not disappointing as well. As far as service goes, I appreciate that they don’t come up to you every 2 minutes to ask “how’s the first few bites?” yet all the servers are still friendly and attentive throughout. For me, it doesn’t get any better than that. Let me eat my food and if I need something, I’ll let you know. Important to note: if you’re coming on a Saturday, be sure to be there by 4- 4:10pm to make sure you get seated. The line gets really long shortly thereafter. A restaurant with a long line outside will always draw more attention than the empty ones, very clever 😉 So make sure you go early…. And enjoy!“

“We had the Spaghetti Meatballs & Cherry Coke Ribs. The Spaghetti, eh, honestly, you could do better, forget the pasta at the pasta place lol. Those cherry coke ribs were so unbelievably good, and the side of Lemon Pepper Grilled Brussel Sprouts. OMG I would come here just for that. We finished off the night with a Tiramisu, and it didn't dissappoint. We will definitely be back. The only negative/ complaint if that, I notice a lot of people recommend it as a date spot, if you want to chat, dont bother, the place is so friggin loud lol“

“Had the Sunday sauce! Omg! Watch for it because it doesn’t happen every day! I’m just saying this is the real deal it’s rich and meaty and most decadent sauce. Fun place to stop in and shop for Italian ingredients too, I love the relaxed style of take out and all the choices.“

“While in Vancouver the beginning of November for medical appointments. My wife and I were undecided on were to eat. We walked out of our motel. Looked across the street and saw the Italian Kitchen, we walked over and asked if they had any seats available, it was a very busy night ,got our seats and our sever was Sam he was very pleasant. My wife and I both so impressed with our meal. If we ever go back to Vancouver I know we're I will be eating.“

“Is this the best restaurant in North Vancouver? Maybe. I'm not definitely sure it is. But I'm sure it is a contender.
Only been here once. You can tell how much care they put into sourcing ingredients. From the herb garden outfront, to getting bread from the bakery right next door. And then you can tell how much that matters when you eat the food.
Also the staff was super friendly, just a great little gem of a restaurant.“

“Our food was out of this world good and the prices were so reasonable. The cocktails were terrific. The Burrata Tomato appetizer had tomatoes so fresh I think they picked them off they vine out back! The Bolognese was very good, the Wagyu Lasagna was outstanding, and the Steak Special was fabulous. Angela knew every detail of the menu and gave great recommendations, and was perfectly attentive all night long. We are so glad CinCin was recommended to us by the concierge at our Hotel (The Loden).“

Staffed by a lovely man who wears all the hats — host, server, and chef. We had the Bolognese and the Beef Mushroom Pappardelle, and everything was yummy. Cozy atmosphere, generous portions, and warm, personal service. We’ll definitely be back! 🍝🇮🇹“

“Vincenzo was wonderful! His knowledge of food and wine was superb. He was the consummate host and made us feel right at home. He was very attentive without being overbearing and was very personable. Although we were there for the Dine Out experience, their regular menu was equally as enticing. The appetizers and entrees hit the spot and went well with the wine that we ordered. It certainly seemed to be a neighbourhood gem as we watched the tables fill and know that their deck will be packed once summer comes. Thanks again for your hospitality!“

“We have the prawn salad and calamari to start, both were great, good portions as well. For mains we had the lamb and the tenderloin, both were excellent, but the tenderloin with the bone marrow sauce stole the show... its was delicious! Paired it with a nice super Tuscan for a great meal. We will be back for sure.“

“After 30 years in business, it is no wonder dining at La Terrazza is a throwback to Tuscany! My wife and I loved it so much that we returned the following evening for "round two!" The menu is significant with so many tasty options and competitively priced. The room is a gorgeous, warmly appointed and romantic. Outdoor dining is well choreographed with heaters & roof covering for inclement weather and beautiful greenery making the dining exerience personal and rather private. Of course the Chef is what makes the world go around, however, what significantly adds to and makes this restaurant so special, are the people! Gennaro Iorio, has built this team over many years, with servers and staff that have worked there for many years. From the front-end welcome ( and then, unusually, follow-up service table-side,) the servers, who are not only experienced but genuine, sincere and thoroughly engaging, to the co-owner/partner, Gennaro making the effort to drop by the table to engage in meaningful conversation... The dining was not only exquisite but engaging and memorable. No small wonder with "this room full of professionals," we returned the following night to meet other folks in the team who were also, like the food; complementary amuse bouche, fresh & I mean fresh Tiger Prawn Cocktail, delightfully light & tasty Chilled Scallop Ceviche, juicy and flavourful Truffle Meatball starter, Roast Tomahawk Veal (crispy, then juicy scrumptious), & the best Spaghettini Lobster Carbonara this side of Tuscany... BTW, the wine list must be 40 pages! Both evenings were memory-makers and left us craving for La Terrazza to open in our home town. Lucky you if you live in Vancouver!“

“Went to Frankie's for the first time last night before Lion King , it was fantastic. Good service by Neil, he gave excellent recommendations from the menu. The restaurant was clean, and the food was amazing. Highly recommend“

“The food was really good, the taste was exceptional. Our server, whose name escapes me was very attentive, interesting, and fun. My down side of our lunch was that the room was ice cold, and I wore my coat the whole meal. It is the middle of October and the weather was really rainy and cold. We avoided dessert and went next door to the Red Lion where we sat by the roaring fire and thawed out! Also, for the high end price of the pasta dish, it would have been lovely to include a small salad, or even a slice of bread.“

“Good food, good wine list, good atmosphere, with excellent service. My one complaint is that they had no Peroni beer. Peroni should be in a every Italian restaurant, as it's Italy's national beer! When I brought this to the owners attention he was a bit snarley and defensive about it, instead of being gracious and understanding.“

“The service was exemplary and the food was excellent. My favorite park was the excellent selection of wine the server recommended with my meal which was also a recommendation. “Celebrated my Milestone Birthday last night at this Fabulous Restaurant. I’ve always Loved this restaurant. We have being going since Umberto had the beautiful Tuscan yellow building. “Their fettuccine gamberi e funghi pasta is soooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo goood 10/10, I wanted so bad to order another one to go lol. Their garlic bread is also sooooooooooooo amazing (as was their bread). The pistachio icecream was also soooooooo goodddddddddddd (bellini icecream was pretty good as well but pistachio def the highlight)!!

We tried their pizza before and we thought it was okay. It's not bad but not really something we'd return for. We got a tomato one and the mushroom one. The tomato one was better than the mushroom one. Our mushroom one felt like it didn't have enough cheese, felt akin to just eating bread with some mushrooms and salad on top (perhaps just not my style for this place).“

“Went on a weeknight earlier this year and it was pleasantly quiet. Staff were friendly but not overly involved, prices were a bit high but understandable for the neighborhood and quality. Drinks were good, and food was amazing! Definitely the best risotto I have ever had.“

“I've been meaning to try this place because their Verdure al forno (roasted vegetable platter) looks really yummy. This weekend we decided to have an early meal to beat the crowd. We ordered Egg White Frittata and Cipolla Vegan Pizza. Both items looked and tasted delicious. Instead of the usual tomato or cream sauces, the vegan pizza had roasted red pepper sauce which added a unique taste profile. There is no garlic on the pizza—which is outstanding—with no unpleasant after taste. We still have to go back and try the roasted vegetable platter. The restaurant is elevated from the street with large picture windows. It's nice and bright inside during the day.“

“Good atmosphere, Great Food, quick food delivery. Prices appropriate for the quality of the food. Gluten free pasta options that work. The cocktails were just not good. Not sure if it was poorly executed or what but the margarita in particular was overly sour. Also siting at the bar having food condiments that close seemed like a food contamination issue in the making. Could have easily sneezed into them. Bartenders two inch fake nails also felt like a food safe issue.“

“My new favourite pizza place in the city. We came here on a Monday evening and there was a lineup. Line was moving pretty fast and the staff was doing everything to make sure everyone gets a table asap. We waited for about 15 mins but it was so worth it. The food was just amazing and huge quantity. Make sure to have the tiramisu at the end. Will be coming here often.“

We were seated almost immediately thanks to our reservation. However, our table was located right next to the coat rack, which was a bit inconvenient since people kept coming by to grab their coats.
The menu isn’t extensive, but the food was excellent. The meatballs and the bread with cultured butter stood out the most. Honestly think we could've skipped the pasta.
All in all, we’ll definitely be back, but there’s no rush.“

“This has been my favorite coffee spot for years it’s such a cute little cafe and the staff are always so friendly. On the other side, it doubles as a restaurant, and if I could afford the calories I’d probably be there just as often as I am for coffee. I always bring my family when they visit Vancouver, and it never disappoints. The wine list is fabulous, and while I usually avoid ordering pasta at restaurants because I think I can make it better myself, theirs is always simple but delicious and cooked to perfection. The carbonara and amatriciana are my go tos, the pizzas are all excellent, and the tiramisu is an absolute must.“
“Renzo was so amazingly friendly and made us feel so welcome! It was a rainy night and he was able to move some tables together to get 4 of us seated quicker than expected. The food was delicious, some of the best gnocchi I've had in Vancouver. Renzo came by our table several times throughout our time there to make sure we had everything we needed. The house made canoli was amazing and he insisted we sample some gelato even though we were so full. As expected, the gelato was also incredible! Will definitely be back!“

“Their menu is the perfect size. Not so much to pick form that you can't decide. The food is not heavily seasoned which is great in my opinion. I was a bit annoyed that the waitress didn't tell us the pasta special, only the pizza one, as I would have chosen that over what I had. I overheard the waiter at the table next to us mention the pasta specail after we had already ordered. No biggies as my dish was delicious. It was a bit dark for reading the menu. This was my second time and will be back. It is very conveniently located within walking distance to the QE theater, perfect for show nights.“
