“Amazing old school authentic real Italian pizzeria”

“Absolutely worth the drive to Pitt Meadows! This was easily one of the best Peruvian food experiences we’ve had in Vancouver.

A huge shoutout to Alvaro, whose recommendations were absolutely top-notch. We started with the beef heart, and it was incredible. It was my husband’s first time ever trying it, and he completely fell in love with it.

Of course, we had to try the ceviche, and we also ordered a rice dish recommended by Alvaro, both were perfection. The flavors were so beautifully put together that every bite genuinely felt like it was telling a story. Everything was fresh, balanced, and full of flavor. We basically devoured the entire meal within seconds!

And then came the homemade leche volteada,what an amazing way to finish dinner. Light, delicate, not overly sweet, and just the perfect cherry on top of an already incredible meal.

The food, the recommendations, the service, the whole experience, amazing from beginning to end. I truly couldn’t recommend this place more. We’ll absolutely be back!”

“We had a wonderful dinner at the Firehall Bistro. We thoroughly enjoyed the crab cake, Cesar salad, tarragon chicken and risotto, ragu gnocchi and ribeye steak. They were all delicious! The atmosphere was warm, calm and inviting. The service was attentive. We will definitely be back with friends and family! It's definitely a hidden gem in Pitt Meadows!”

“We went to the Krunchicken in Mission last night. Everything about the place - the food, the lady taking orders, the environment - were all top notch. We ordered all three kinds of bone-in chicken wings that were available as well as fries, yam fries, and other sides. Everything we ordered was FANTASTIC. Absolutely fantastic. The portions were huge, the prices were fair, and the flavors were out of this world!!! NEW FAVORITE CHICKEN PLACE!”

“Great experience in-house dining here. We came from Vancouver for blueberry picking and pass by for the quick lunch and was suprisingly pleasant with the food quality here. Fresh and juicy sashimi. Great service, they even cooked by order for us as the roll we wanted was not in the menu. Definitely come back when we have a chance.”

“These good people were kind enough to let an American unfamiliar with the area use one of their parking spaces while in town to photograph the CPKC Holiday Train 12/17/23. I returned 12/18/23 and purchased a pizza. It was FANTASTIC. Lovely blend of ingredients, cooked just right ... best pizza I'd had in a long time. Not only did it exceed my expectations, a couple small morsels were enthusiastically consumed by my Airbnb host's dogs. Their reaction likewise indicated "five stars". “Great daily options with lots of variety. Usually 1 truck from 11-6 with weekends having at least 2. Poffies and Saltys Lobster are family favourites. Lots of regular trucks each week.”

“On our journey driving from Alaska to Arizona, my husband and I made it a priority to stop at The Original Lunch Doctor in Pitt Meadows, BC for lunch. Why? Because my grandmother, Elsie Hatlen, is the founder of this local legacy and amazing sandwich shop! I haven't been here in at least 30 years (I was somewhere between 7 and 10 years old) when Grandma let me help in the back kitchen. The giant mixer was my favorite - and apparently it's still there! It was really neat to be back in Grandma's old shop. We missed the current owner today but visited with all the ladies there, left an original "The Original Lunch Doctor" jar opener for them (the info is even still the same), enjoyed a *fabulous* lunch, and watched them totally sell out - at one point there was a line out the door! It warms my heart how much folks love this place still. Grandma Elsie started something amazing that still lives on... as does she! Still zesty and kind as always, but in Texas instead of Canada. Thank you so much for the hospitality and full bellies! ❤️ 10,000 out of 5 stars, highly recommend!”

“I've been here multiple times for both dine-in and takeout, and the food has always been great. Sometimes they seem to be a bit understaffed as it takes some time to get the food but most times it’s been worth the wait. Dining in is especially nice because of the unique atmosphere of the heritage building. I've always enjoyed my visits and will definitely keep coming back.”

“This is a regular place I go to meet up with friends and enjoy the weekly events they have with music artists, karaoke. Not to mention, all the sports events they have on their screens. Great place to relax, enjoy the food, the atmosphere, the people. I always feel welcomed there.”

“Have eaten the Other Guys pizza many times. Always served up hot with the freshest ingredients all carefully curated in house. Was excited to try their new Detroit style pizza and it did not disappoint!
