“UPDATE : OCTOBER 17 /25 I thought I’d give an updated review of this place that I’ve been coming for years. The staff and the owner are always spot on fantastic. The food is always incredible one of the best Indian cuisines and all of the lower mainland.

If you have not tried this place do yourself a favour and visit you will not be disappointed! There is a reason why I drive all the way from Brentwood Burnaby area over and over again lol

“Food was really good, would go there again for sure!
However Customer service is the worst part. Only 2 people were working, ordered water before starting our dinner and it came once we were done with the dinner. And she was kinda weird too when we questioned her about the menu. We went there on Jan 21.“

“Ordered take-out for 4 and it was another lovely meal (chef's kiss). The prawn biryani had a generous amount of large prawns and came with a refreshing (and equally generous) serving of raita. The alu gobi was lovely. The paneer in the mutter paneer was tender (nothing worse than rubbery paneer, trust me!). Both vegetable dishes came with naan. Although we ordered everything on the mild side, the heat was still a little intense for a couple of us. I have nothing but good things to say about this little neighbourhood gem. I hope they keep up the good work of serving good food.“

“Nila South Indian restaurant in Surrey is a fantastic spot for tasty, comforting South Indian food, especially if you love dosa and sambar.
The food here is consistently flavorful and feels close to authentic home-style South Indian cooking. Their dosa comes out crisp on the outside and soft inside, with a nice fermented flavour that pairs perfectly with the chutneys. The sambar is delicious, well-balanced, and comforting, and it really brings the whole meal together when you dip the dosa or idli in it.

If you are in Surrey, Fleetwood/Guildford anrea and craving good South Indian food, Nila is absolutely worth a visit. With delicious dosa, flavourful sambar, and a homely atmosphere, it is a place I would gladly return to and recommend to friends.“

“We are fans of Indian cuisine. Sahota live grill Langley is an awesome restaurant. The daily lunch buffet made it possible for us to try and enjoy different dishes at once . Our taste buds explored, but not spicy burnt. The live Chaat station was exceptional. We are glad we visited.“

“I don’t usually write Google reviews, but this place truly deserves one. It’s a hidden gem in Surrey. I ordered the vegetarian combo on Uber yesterday and OMG—the taste was amazing. The saag was hands down the best I’ve had- so fresh, flavorful, and absolutely delicious. I couldn’t resist going back for more. Huge appreciation to the team for such incredible food. Highly recommended!“

“Went there w my wife and some family. The food was amazing, our server very knowledgeable. My fav appie were the Scallops. The rice was smooth & tastey (never had tastey rice b4). I had the Chichen Tikka Masalla rich, succulent & spices all at once. We shared the lamb chops - OMG heaven. We has a few other appies - all amazing. my wife had the butter chicken (chefs specialty) - yes it is! Drinks were very satisfying. I had a Moscow Mule - ok I had 2. The garlic naan is: wrap yourself up you're in heaven. Water was room temp to reduce the heat if needed but they brought a carafe which wa appreciated. Again, our server was attentive & knowledgeable about the kitchen and made great recommendations. The kitchen was on WoW mode. The food was extremely well prepared. what was left we gleefully packed to go. Is it good value? The quality ingredients and care I the kitchen says YES. This well above your average Indian Kitchen. I know there are lots of Indian restaurants in Surrey but this one will take your taste-buds places. The food; feels, smells, looks & tastes authentically amazing. You'll leave feeling better about yourself!“

“I had the Lunch Special Non-veg for lunch today and I added a side of Naan (always get more Naan.) I loved the Butter Chicken so much. The Chicken Vindaloo was awesome. The Mutar Paneer was SO good. Everything was great! Used the Naan to scoop up all if the remaining sauce. My plate was sparkling clean when I was done. Will get again 100%. Price was great too.“

“The hidden gems to get samosas. Great quality, quantity of filling and price. Very surprised about the spice and flavour balance. Great choice creating the chicken mandala samosa. Great choice of the way you delivered it with the mince chicken meat amd spice level. Medium Indian spice just fits right for the Caucasian pallet. The paneer samosa was a beautiful combination of texture, flavor and spice. We tried aswell the beef samosa and it was nicely balanced too. The vegetables samosa had a bit too much potatoes but still was enjoyable.“
