The kunafa is absolutely delicious—crispy on the outside, soft and cheesy inside, with the perfect level of sweetness. Their ice cream is also excellent, with rich flavors and great texture. “This Donair place is the best Donair I have ever had! Great service, AMAZING FOOD! the lady and her daughter who works there are so nice and sweet. The amount of meat she puts into the Donair is crazy! It’s so packed and full of deliciousness! You can make 2 meals out of 1 Donair! We are from Saskatchewan and come to Vancouver to visit family every year and we make it a point to stop by and grab a Donair! Love, love this place! Would totally recommend. “Had a delicious platter with my husband almsot 2 weeks ago. The girls there are hardworking and quick on their feet to serve to the customers.
The tables were a bit dirty and I think after every customer they should clean it immediately, however, no complaints on the taste, quality and portion size of the meal!“

“My family (2 adults, 4 kids) were hiking in Belcarra.
In our way back home to Richmond, we thought about what to eat and agreed on craving donair.
We brainstormed which donair place we enjoyed and I remembered Donair Tower.
So we put it in our GPS to stop on our way home.
It did not disappoint.
Clean restaurant, welcoming atmosphere.
Friendly service though he was a little bit overwhelmed by our order for 6. He was alone and struggled a bit with the high tech cashier system.
Since we had time, it was more cute.
The food made the wait worth it!
The portions are big, the donair delicious, the fries crispy on the outside.
Leftover were fought after.
Coming back when in the region.“

“I’ve been coming here for the past 3 years and have always considered it one of the best donair places in New Westminster. That’s why I was excited to visit the new location today.

Unfortunately, the experience was disappointing. The donair was cold on the inside and the meat was quite dry, which is not the quality I’ve come to expect from this place.

I truly believe that when a business grows from a small location to a bigger one, it’s because customers love its taste, quality, and consistency. Those are the standards that made people keep coming back.

I’m giving 3 stars because of the many good experiences I’ve had over the years, and I will give it another try. I sincerely hope this was just an off day. Growth should create more happy memories for loyal customers, not disappointment.

“Amazing food and even better service! I stopped by just before closing and only ordered a chicken plate. The owner was incredibly kind and surprised me with a free cucumber salad. Such a thoughtful gesture! Everything was fresh and delicious. I’ll definitely be back. Highly recommend!“

“I had a donair date here the other day. My chicken donair and fries were yummy. I did notice my meat came from the back so they must have heated it up. It didn’t bother me. It was still yummy. The owners are kind and professional. It’s a basic place, very regimented, owned and run by a cute couple. They have their own technique as to how much ingredient goes into each donair or plate which I’m okay with. They do give one napkin with each meal but it’s not a big deal, get up and go get more if needed. The napkins are right up at the front. If one wants certain extra toppings then ask for it- plain and simple. I’ve gone and ate here several times with no issues. Quite tasty each time and I appreciate the owners working hard and hustling everyday.“

I really like the rice platter at Donair Affair. Their sauces are so good in combination with that 'thin' style rice. I love making my own Donair wrap at home with the half pita they provide with the rice platter.

Chicken is seasoned well! The only thing they need to improve on is putting more chicken for extra chicken. I feel like paying for extra chicken didn't give me that much more chicken.

Overall though, the rice platters here are really good. I prefer the rice platters here over the ones across the street at A1 Coffee and Donair. Don't get me wrong, I think A1 Coffee Donair has better wraps but Donair Affair has better rice platters. Either way, you can't go wrong with both places!“

“Consistency is everything at this location. I have been visiting for the last 8 years plus years and have never been disappointed. Ali and his staff have always been kind and top notch with customer service and take pride in serving fresh and amazing food. My personal favorite is the beef and mushroom Donair, no one else does it like them. Highly recommend this gem of a donair shop.“
