Their own beef and perfectly cooked local bacon, I’m sure the produce is from their farm as you can taste each individual component. “Never been there before but its a quiet atmosphere didn't know what to think of it. But we ordered the Zoo sticks (zucchini sticks) the absolutely best and I travel all over Canada. Then we ordered the steak mashed potatoes and broccoli done to perfection 👌 and then to start on the drinks I had the rose sangria fizz not only was it beautiful to look at but my taste buds loved it too. Jesse our server/bartender easy going, attentive a great asset to that team and establishment. Next time I come through I definitely will be stopping over and over

“Syd was the first server to create a decent atmosphere at any restaurant I have visited in my 53 years living on this god forsaken planet. Especially when compared to my hometown of Milano, Italia.
The servers of my youth would make me feel more worthless than a maggot. The constant beratement from other waiting staffs has scared me mentally and is the reason I lash out at my children, Clara and Antonio. This experience with Syd and the other wonderful staff has cured me and I will no longer beat them before bed. I have turned a new leaf, allowing me to move beyond my horrific horrific previous dining experiences. I would like to suggest several members of your staff pursue a masters in trauma informed response/therapy, as their aptitude for this field is clearly evident and I'm sure you would agree if you had even a smidgen of intelligence or functioning eyes.

“We had a delicious dinner here and enjoyed the lovely view of the Saanich Inlet and surrounding areas. We ordered the Chateau Briand beef tenderloin for 2 and it was done to perfection served with seasonal vegetables and mashed potatoes with parmesan fries as well. Service was excellent.“

From the moment we walked in, we were greeted by the friendliest hostess (I sadly didn’t catch her name, but she was so welcoming), and the atmosphere instantly felt warm, nostalgic, and just happy. Our server Chelsea was the cutest vibe ever! She fit the place perfectly. Super friendly, personable, and made the whole experience feel really personal and relaxed. You can tell when someone genuinely enjoys what they do, and it shows. The food? Banging. Great prices and seriously delicious. I had a roasted chicken wrap with tzatziki and a bunch of fresh veggies, plus a side salad, and it was SO good. Fresh, flavourful, and filling without being heavy. And the little details?? Instead of the usual mint at the end, they give you a piece of retro bubble gum. Such a fun, nostalgic touch that totally fits the diner’s vibe. “We had the pleasure of eating at Four Mile Brew Pub on Sep 2nd, 2024. We were visiting Victoria on a Cruise Ship and a local couple picked this establishment for lunch along with another local couple. The food and service were outstanding, and the building is beautiful inside and out. We ate in the pub area and really enjoyed the experience. The manager really came thru, though. When paying a card case dropped to the ground and we didn't notice it. The manager found it, and seeing a California phone number called and got the house sitter who gave the Cruise Ship information, and then let us know. The manager dispatched an employee to return the card case. The house sitter let us know and we were able to talk to the manager and since the employee was on the way, we were able to meet him and retrieve the case. High praise to the staff! Thanks!“

I selected their signature gin, which is smooth, fragrant, with just the right amount of juniper. It mixes well with a dry tonic, and stands out in the crowd. When they state porkbelly and you get shaved roast porkbelly that is not seasoned and because it is thinner than their bacon super chewy and distracts from the other flavours of the dish which are okay. If they rubbed it and braised the belly and cut proper thick slices for porkbelly it would do the oppisite and add to the dish 🥲.“

I got the Chicken Alfredo and my husband got the steak and everything tasted amazing. Our server Lacey was lovely and made my birthday feel very special, and even brought out a dessert for me. “Four of us gals shared a dinner for four $73.00 so that’s less than $20.00 each! The portions were generous and the food was hot and just kept coming until the table was filled with plates! We started with a very hot spring roll that was a pleasant surprise as it was crunchy inside with crunchy carrot slivers, instead of the often soggy interiors. The dinner for 4 included sweet and sour pork which was delicious and tender, deep fried prawns, and again very tender and plenty to share, then a noodle chow mein and a vegetable and chicken dish followed by a giant plate of excellent fried rice. It was all hot and flavourful and there was ample food for 4 of us. It looks like it’s a mom and pop shop and both were friendly and funny. The service was quick and everything very fresh.
Two of us added a Chinese beer that brought our totals up but it was a warm day and worth it! Good choice if you are in Sydney looking for a reasonably priced meal. There were plenty of other dishes on the menu plus we were offered fresh spot prawns for about $30.00. Mmmm Sorry, I forgot to take photos but it was typical Chinese but plenty of it!“

“This place is out of this world such a romantic and beautiful spot to come. The food is great and was very delicious. Even tho the calamari was over cooked and hard to chew the food over all was still amazing. Our server was a gem super friendly and attentive. When it came to the hostess she was not really welcoming or friendly and did not seem like she wanted to be there. We asked her a couple questions and she was snippy and sort. Which my wife and I second guessed our visit but we stuck it out and glad we did. We celebrated our 1 year anniversary here and after the lunch we had we took a nice walk on the docks which finished off our day.“

The only thing that was a bit irritating was I asked the staff if they had water and the staff member behind the counter pointed to the open fridge next to the till. So I paid $3 for a bottle of water, and then walked past the water fountain at the end of the counter. Grr. But the food was excellent today.“
