“Great variety of palettes and portions that seem well-rounded. Only sat down for beverages for the first visit, but overall a great first impression of service and atmosphere. I am primarily a zero proof seeker and got to try A Beer for Ants and the Dentville Ginger Beer. Both complimented each other well and I had to get a second round of the Ginger beer. Well worth the 1h drive away to also pick up limited edition cans. Thanks Backcountry Brewing team for the warm welcome. Looking forward to returning to try the kitchen offerings.“

“We were looking for something local and fun after a day of hiking. Google found this hidden gem and what fun it was. It felt like we were in someones basement who had turned it into a place where all can hang. So many cider options, and the friendly young woman pouring and educating us could not have been a better ambassador. Even the locals who were enjoying a pint joined in on helping us decide what to go options we had. It was absolutely delicious and we will be back. Give this place a try, I am confident you not only will enjoy everything about it but will be back as well.“

“Now this is a burger. Start with the fresh, high quality beef still oozing with juicy taste, trapped with goodness. But throw a dash of unique toppings rarely seen in burgers, like shredded carrots and pineapple, well it takes a whole new level. And their sides are also amazing and filling. You haven't lived until you tried this.“

“So, I had been craving a good milkshake for a couple weeks .... McDs wasn't gonna cut it lol, but this wonderful little Cafe delivered! Yesterday on our ride we stopped in Squamish to eat, but all restaurants had over an hour wait. As we were contemplating our options we noticed we were standing in front of a small Cafe with 4, unoccupied, picnic tables in the shade, so we took a chance. We all agreed the food was amazing and my milkshake craving was beautifully answered!! If anyone is heading into or through Squamish I would recommend stopping by and helping this young business grow. You will not be disappointed! Thank you Parkside Cafe!!“

“Beers are fantastic as always. Atmosphere is brilliant, the table carved into a cribbage board is so cute. Outdoor space is so cozy/welcoming.
Services was just ok, seemed to care more about gossiping / being on their phone than doing their actual job.

“My chicken burger was delicious, worth every penny. The guy who took my order was terrific. However, having to go to a different food location to order and pay for a coffee and then wait between 15 and 20 minutes for my food to be ready, was unacceptable. Cannot imagine how much longer the food would take when the place is busy.“
