“Very friendly, awesome wines, great time“
“Thanks Michael, for the superb tasting… I loved all the wines I tried and had a tough time deciding on a bottle! Lovely patio that he told me folks were welcome to bring a picnic lunch and enjoy there. A hidden gem that is well worth the trip!!“
“I'm not a huge wine drinker. But your strawberry rhubarb wine is awesome:)“
“Rheinhessen Village of Dalsheim, only kilometres from the Rhine, is famous for winemaking since the Middle Ages and the beginning of the 8th Generation Winery. Inspired by the regional terroir and historic possibilities, Christian Schales planted his first vineyard in 1783 and started Weingut Schales. Fast forward to Bernd Schales and wife Stefanie whom directed a path over the pond and landed in the Okanagan in 2003. They purchased a small lot, grew grapes and produced for other wineries until they decided to acquire the Summerland acreage and facility to resume the Schales family legacy in Canada. I’ve visited the Mosel, Baden, Pfalz, Mittel-Rhein and Rheinhessen regions… these wines are distinctively and beautifully German inspired. — At 8th Generation Winery“
“We came here for my bachelor party last week. They opened just for our group and we had an absolute blast. Jess and Leo took such great care of us. Thank you for sharing your passion and for making my weekend so special. I will definitely be back again.“
“A gorgeous little gem totally worth visiting!“
“Our visit was completely lovely from the moment we entered to room. Our tasting host was pleasant, knowledgeable and engaging. She managed to host three separate tastings with ease and shared the winery story with the group of us. Her delivery was funny while informative. The winery decor cleverly plays up the dirty laundry theme.“
“I don't remember the young man's name who helped us with our wine tasting but he was excellent and helpful. We ended up buying two bottles of wine. The Gerzt (I can't pronounce it let alone spell it😁) and the resling. Looking forward to sharing these with our friends back in Bonnyville!“
“Fabulous Champagne, wonderful reds and cute sheep! Beautiful Allison their Sommolier was a wealth of knowledge and we had her all to ourselves when we showed up at Noon when they open! It was like a private tasting!!!❤️🍾🥂 Don't forget to say hello to Maple the cutest Ram! 🍁“

“Beautiful view, great food & wines.“
“ROCHE wines’s story weaves love, authentic French wine making tradition and an adventurous move to the Okanagan. Dylan Roche (Burgundy, Chablis, New Zealand, Margaux) an avid cyclist wished to pursue becoming a cycle mechanic and tour guide in the idyllic countryside of Burgundy in 2000. Serendipitously, the alluring life of winemaking converted him to officially train in Beaune (2003). Pénélope Furt-Roche (6th generation Bordeaux winemaker of Château Les Carmes Haut-Brion, Spain, New Zealand, Australia,Tasmania) grew up at the esteemed family estate in Bordeaux and at a young age learned the exquisite French tradition of winemaking with her Father Didier. The two merged paths in New Zealand whilst discovering Hawkes Bay during harvest and fell in love (original Hallmark story). They chased each back to France, started a life and both continued their wine journey in Bordeaux. In 2010, the family decided to sell the estate and with a leap of faith the vignerons couple wanted to pursue a dream of their own… Roche Wines! New transplanted they found their desired location in 2011 and commenced various projects to assist them to their final goal in 2017. Being organic, with hands-on farming, focused on sustainable practices and paired with unique Okanagan terroir Roche Wines has quickly excelled. Within their 5 years, Dylan and Pénélope have received BC Lieutenant Governor Awards, Highlighted in Decanter Magazine, high accolades from Jancis Robinson MW/London and wines are currently in most of BC’s TOP restaurants. Equally impressive is family friend and Award Winning Veteran winemaker Dwight Sick (Stag’s Hollow, Moraine Estate Winery, Chain Reaction, Seven Stones) whom has a stunning collaboration with Roche- Amulet Series. His glimpse of the Rhône features highly acclaimed and sought after Viognier/Marsanne, Grenache/Syrah blends. Together, this quaint and unsuspecting winery is a truly authentic slice of the BEST of France (Burgundy, Bordeaux, Alsace, Rhone) in our beloved wine country! 🏆❤️🍷🥂🍇🇫🇷“
“Fabulous wines, fabulous tasting room.“
“we we guided through a tasting by Kelsey. As we were there early on a Monday morning, we had the place to ourselves. They specialize in sparkling wines, and won the award as the best Sparkling wine producer in the 2025 NWAC. We tasted a few, and they were excellent. We also managed to snag one of the last bottles of their gerwurstraminer.“
“A must stop if you are in the Naramata area looking for some amazing wine and breathtaking views!
Candace was extremely knowledgeable and super friendly!
The views and wine …. We could have sat there all day!
I will be back!“
“Every single wine is amazing ! Their service is amazing. 10000/10 would recommend. Every year they produce better wine. Thank you Black Widow Winery“
“Moraine Winery has made it to my top 2 favourite in BC after one visit. Kim was phenomenal: she laughed with us, made us feel right at home, and gave us an amazing wine tasting. Their wines were truly so good, all achieving something different. It was hard to not go home with more than 2 bottles! We will definitely be back because of the amazing wine and because of Kim! Thank you Moraine Winery! PS spectacular views too!“
“This is a great surprise!!! Your drive up to this very unassuming winery, however, when you walk through the door and into the tasting room it oozes elegance. There are several beautifully appointed tables to be seated at for your tasting experience. We were served by Bonnie who was a great host! Full of great information about both the history and background of the winery, vineyards and the great wines. It was later in the afternoon when we stopped here so we were hungry, we were able to grab a small charcuterie player to help tie us over. The wines are exceptional we took home a variety of 9 bottles!! If you want a great experience and a great small family-run winery you need to stop here you will not be disappointed.“
“Thoroughly enjoyed my recent visit to do some wine tastings! Machelle was an amazing host sharing her awesome wealth of information on the grapes and history of the winery. I would recommend stopping in to enjoy a welcoming experience and try some fabulous wines! I was so impressed I joined the wine club!!“
“Elephant Vineyard is magical! The staff is warm and welcoming, and the vineyard itself is stunning. I was touched learning it was created in memory of the founders’ first child — especially since their birthday matches mine! The 2019 Meritage Reserve Red Blend is incredible — rich, full-bodied, and my favorite. Can’t wait to return!“
“We visited Nichol Vineyard after a recommendation from a local. We had a lovely relaxed time, the manager/barman was excellent and down to earth. He was so kind he gave us a free bottle as it was our honeymoon!
The wine tastes excellent too!
Thanks a lot!“
“Lei Lei was amazing!!! I showed up with an impromptu tasting tour with my family and the three sisters accommodated us with no reservation which was awesome! Lei lei did our tasting and she was sweet and funny and perfect for our group and told us about the wines and tasting notes perfectly! Will be back again (The Rebecca sparkling is TO DIE for)“
“Ok absolutely best winery on Naramata bench. The staff are out of this world kind and passionate and beautiful. The view and care put into the space is immediately recognizable. You can tell the owners here have been doing this for a long time and are very passionate about what they do.“
“What an unforgettable experience! We reserved a table for a tasting, and our host Larry was absolutely fantastic—knowledgeable, friendly, and made us feel like VIPs from the moment we arrived. And the wine… wow! Every bottle we tried was exceptional. Let’s just say, it was a challenge finding enough room in the truck for all the wine we brought home!“
“(review for winery only, though GoogleMaps thinks I must have stayed there!) We had a wonderful visit at D'Angelo, such a great surprise. Vince was charming and helpful in every way. We enjoyed everything we sampled, and walked away with both varietals of Dolce Vita, so delish and unusual. The food truck onsite with fabulous view was an added bonus. Can't wait to return.“
“We visited Serendipity Winery on Saturday, what a beautiful experience. The wine is lovely, the customer service is above par! We visited a number of wineries over the weekend, the experience was definitely number one out of all of them.“
“The people who work there are fabulous and we always have a great laugh about the latest social issues! Last week we chatted about many topics! Thanks team! Fun as usual!“
“I have the opportunity to have a tasting on a Monday morning,
As the winery google time was not reflected in the current hour of operation, the staff still make tasted what it was left open.
Price is very approachable and decent quality.
Staff was understanding and really respectful.
You have a walkable path from the parking to enjoy a great view.“
“We’re so happy that we stopped here today!!! Such good wines and cheese and @Landon Ketterer was such a delight to interact with too: knowledgeable, friendly, personable!!! To anyone passing by, please do yourself a favour and stop at the Upper bench, you won’t regret it!!!“
“Our small group had a most enjoyable time at our wine tasting. Knowledgeable and friendly staff answered all of our questions and provided a truly wonderful experience.
Wines are tasty and prices are fair. A beautiful location which I strongly recommend.“
“This place never disappoints in terms of the food and the patio. Pictured is the deconstructed blt- a featured starter and a chicken sandwich we split and they played separately for us without even asking. The view is kind of over there behind the sunflowers and you can see a sliver of lake back there somewhere - so don’t go for the lake view - there isn’t one - but if you want top end meal and a nice glass of wine then this is the place. Very popular on the wine tour circuit and they don’t take reservations unless for 8 or more so get there earlier than later for lunch and don’t be discouraged by the full parking lot - lots are only there for the tasting.“
“Wonderful wedding venue! Perfect day!“
“Beautiful view, great food & wines.“
“We were able to sneak in at the end of the day for a bubbles tasting and I am so glad the staff were willing to accommodate us. All of the wines were fantastic, and Kam was extremely knowledgeable about the products and the area. I’ve already enjoyed a bottle of the Brut to celebrate my wedding anniversary and can’t wait to enjoy all the others. The restaurant was also fantastic for a bite to eat. 10/10 recommend a stop here!“
“Cathy was exceptional and gave great knowledge of the wines ! We have tried a few places and we are from Ontario but this place was by far my favourite wines !“
“We went to Laughingstock for a wine tasting today. Our server, Vera, was lovely but so busy we didn't have a great experience. Apparently reservations are recommended. We walked in and were seated. Vera brought us our samples and then had to run to another table. We waited a long time for our next sample of mediocre wine. I'd rather they told us they were too busy to properly accommodate us. We could have spent out time at another winery that could give us their time and attention.“
“We’re so happy that we stopped here today!!! Such good wines and cheese and @Landon Ketterer was such a delight to interact with too: knowledgeable, friendly, personable!!! To anyone passing by, please do yourself a favour and stop at the Upper bench, you won’t regret it!!!“
“We had such a great experience here! When we arrived, we were disappointed to find out there wasn’t food available — we were all hungry and had a bike ride ahead of us. Josh went above and beyond to take care of us, tracking down some incredible dim sum so we could eat before getting back on the road. The food was amazing, and the hospitality was even better. Everyone was so kind and accommodating, and the wines were excellent too. Truly outstanding service — thank you for turning our day around!“
“New favourite winery. Delicious wines. The selections for both red and white are very good and the bubbles are to die for. So glad we stopped to taste. All the staff are friendly and very knowledgeable. The view from the tasting room is a dream.“

“This is a great place for a wine tasting. It's a nice spot, the people are friendly; and the wine selection is much broader than most places (they produce Haywire, Free Form and Narrative - all full lines of wine). Excellent wines, and something for everybody.“
