“Highly recommend the wonderful SummerGate Winery! We were at a local horse camp for a bachelorette party and had the opportunity to ride to the winery for a tasting. They currently offer 3 corrals that are large enough to double up horses, and were extremely hospitable in having a hose available for cooling off our horses when we rode in. Beyond friendly and accommodating, we had a terrific experience, and the wines were delicious! We rode away with heavy saddle bags after being sold on several varieties.“
“I'm not a huge wine drinker. But your strawberry rhubarb wine is awesome:)“
“Rheinhessen Village of Dalsheim, only kilometres from the Rhine, is famous for winemaking since the Middle Ages and the beginning of the 8th Generation Winery. Inspired by the regional terroir and historic possibilities, Christian Schales planted his first vineyard in 1783 and started Weingut Schales. Fast forward to Bernd Schales and wife Stefanie whom directed a path over the pond and landed in the Okanagan in 2003. They purchased a small lot, grew grapes and produced for other wineries until they decided to acquire the Summerland acreage and facility to resume the Schales family legacy in Canada. I’ve visited the Mosel, Baden, Pfalz, Mittel-Rhein and Rheinhessen regions… these wines are distinctively and beautifully German inspired. — At 8th Generation Winery“
“Very friendly, awesome wines, great time“
“We came here for my bachelor party last week. They opened just for our group and we had an absolute blast. Jess and Leo took such great care of us. Thank you for sharing your passion and for making my weekend so special. I will definitely be back again.“
“Love the fine wines of Silk Scarf 🧣!!! Good today. Even better In the future. So buy a case. And taste annually. Just finished our last bottle of the 2008 Ensemble !!! The last of a case from back then ! 11 years old. Amazing. With steady , prawns and blue Cheese -greek salad 🥗!“
“A gorgeous little gem totally worth visiting!“
“I understand because they are popular and have heavy traffic, they need to be efficient, but the experience is tainted by the by the manufacturing assembly line like setup. You buy a ticket at a computer kiosk (albeit disguised as a wine barrel) to do a tasting. You stand in line until a spot opens up, you do your tasting (optionally buy wine)? Then get a table for food (optionally). Where again you order from a kiosk and wait for your phone call to get your food. All that said, all the wines were very good (I tasted only reds) and the pourer was quite good. Then the pulled pork sandwich I had was also good. I just can't give the 5 stars because of the procedural experience“
“Shantelle was so amazing!! We loved being here. :) She took the time to walk us through the nuances of white wines, from varietals to tasting techniques, and we learned so much while sipping. The passion and care she brought to the experience made it feel personal and enriching. A must-visit for anyone curious about white wines!“
“Every single wine is amazing ! Their service is amazing. 10000/10 would recommend. Every year they produce better wine. Thank you Black Widow Winery“
“I had visited Township 7 Vineyards & Winery early in their start-up (2004-5) and was impressed then. I have stopped in from year to year and sampled their quality lineup and was never disappointed. In my recent September 2024 visit - I was very impressed by their vineyards bounce back from the extreme cold in January 2024. I was perhaps even more impressed by their current wines - shown and described very capably by Kathy/Cathy in the tasting area. No hard sell from Kathy (still, I did buy the NBO), but professional background info on harvest conditions, wine-making and very friendly clues on the aromas that contribute to each of the wines' gestalt (haven't used that word for a long while ;). On a final note - thank you Kathy for a very worthwhile visit in Naramata last Monday. I do hope to make it over to the Langley winery with some of my wine appreciation class soon and taste/buy some more wines. Cheers, David“
“Beautifully manicured grounds, inviting courtyards, airy patio surrounded by lush gardens Lake Breeze has a quaint European ambience which is both satisfying and alluring.
Named after the winds that cross the bluffs this is a beautiful place to refresh before harnessing the gentle lake breeze to sail through wine country. Original vineyard dates to 1985 being one of the oldest on the Naramata Bench and officially opening 1995 with Swiss-born Paul and Vereena Moser. Equally prized as all the medals awarded is Winemaker Garron Elmes (Cape Town, Stellenbosch) whom merges the stunning wine tradition of South Africa with okanagan terroir. Also famously, first South African to transplant to our beloved wine country and who brought the impressive potential of pinotage to our attention.
Along the way, new owners Drew and Barbara McIntyre smitten with opportunity and seeing Lake Breeze bear award winning fruit expanded from rustic winery to its current appeal. Included was Winemaker Victor Costa (Okanagan College) who brings his Portuguese family roots and tradition to this lovely portfolio.
In kitchen, veteran Chef de Cuisine turned farmer Mark Ashton (Quattro, Spain, Italy and French Riviera) delivers a complete farm to table with seasonality through his farmstead approach. Ethically raised heritage pigs, farm grown produce and scratch made menu is the focus.
Tying together elegant winemaking and a beautifully prepared menu it is easy to understand why this is one of favourite recommendations… you experience worldly crafted wines with an elevated dining experience all in a relaxing setting at Lake Breeze Vineyards! 🍽🥂🍇🏆❤️🍷
Had a lively and wonderful tasting with Darrel (great host and living his best life). Perfect respite luncheon and superb service with Sarah. 😎“
“This winery was our fourth stop of eight on our wine tasting tour from Peachland to Naramata this summer.
This has a really good courtyard style setup. The server was great and we really enjoyed three out of the five wines during our tasting.
The Deep Roots winery down the road is awesome too.“
“ROCHE wines’s story weaves love, authentic French wine making tradition and an adventurous move to the Okanagan. Dylan Roche (Burgundy, Chablis, New Zealand, Margaux) an avid cyclist wished to pursue becoming a cycle mechanic and tour guide in the idyllic countryside of Burgundy in 2000. Serendipitously, the alluring life of winemaking converted him to officially train in Beaune (2003). Pénélope Furt-Roche (6th generation Bordeaux winemaker of Château Les Carmes Haut-Brion, Spain, New Zealand, Australia,Tasmania) grew up at the esteemed family estate in Bordeaux and at a young age learned the exquisite French tradition of winemaking with her Father Didier. The two merged paths in New Zealand whilst discovering Hawkes Bay during harvest and fell in love (original Hallmark story). They chased each back to France, started a life and both continued their wine journey in Bordeaux. In 2010, the family decided to sell the estate and with a leap of faith the vignerons couple wanted to pursue a dream of their own… Roche Wines! New transplanted they found their desired location in 2011 and commenced various projects to assist them to their final goal in 2017. Being organic, with hands-on farming, focused on sustainable practices and paired with unique Okanagan terroir Roche Wines has quickly excelled. Within their 5 years, Dylan and Pénélope have received BC Lieutenant Governor Awards, Highlighted in Decanter Magazine, high accolades from Jancis Robinson MW/London and wines are currently in most of BC’s TOP restaurants. Equally impressive is family friend and Award Winning Veteran winemaker Dwight Sick (Stag’s Hollow, Moraine Estate Winery, Chain Reaction, Seven Stones) whom has a stunning collaboration with Roche- Amulet Series. His glimpse of the Rhône features highly acclaimed and sought after Viognier/Marsanne, Grenache/Syrah blends. Together, this quaint and unsuspecting winery is a truly authentic slice of the BEST of France (Burgundy, Bordeaux, Alsace, Rhone) in our beloved wine country! 🏆❤️🍷🥂🍇🇫🇷“
“Their current year library of wines is absolutely outstanding had a wonderful tasting with Janice today. She was absolutely delightful and her knowledge of the wines and the story about the owners and the history of the winery made the experience very very enjoyable. PS if you are looking for the magnum, I’m the one that bought it.“

“Beautiful view, great food & wines.“
“We went for a VIP tasting and the experience was 10/10. It was our favorite tasting in the entire Okanagan area.
We were a group of 6 and had Jerry leading the tasting. He was insightful and we learned a lot. We did not receive this level of attention at any other winery, even super expensive ones. The wines surprised us as well - The Pinot and Syrah were standouts. The experience also incited us to buy a lot of wine so it’s such a win-win.
I would recommend this to anyone.“
“Fabulous wines, fabulous tasting room.“
“A group of us came in to do a tasting and were greeted beautifully. Had our tasting with Trish and felt so at home. We bought the delicious Merlot to pair with the homemade lasagna for the evening. The jokes, the laughs and the wine!! Trish is fabulous and will definitely be back.“
“In late April 2023, we were blessed with a pretty fantastic winetasting experience here.Kelly was very friendly and inviting, and I felt fortunate at the amount of time that she spent, explaining the evolution of this winery. I say fortunate, because we were able to go behind the scenes and look at the tasting room while it was under construction. in fact, we were blessed enough to be able to take a look at all of the developments of this fairly new location. You wouldn’t know it, but they have an entire production facility, right downtown, complete with everything you need to make the wine… Large tanks, barrel storage, everything. It was quite something to see.Back to the tasting, we enjoyed our tasting at the bar in the restaurant. They had a decent selection of very good wine like evolve sparking wine, Chardonnay Pinot blancwhite effervescence which was Chardonnay Pinot blanc I think she said,a different version of that followed by 2021 Pinot GrisAnd more.A note about the restaurant, they Source their proteins/meat from locally grown, organic, where possible. you can see some of the meat as it’s ‘dry aging.’ They will take one of these hunks of meat, and cut your steak They cook it. I don’t know any other place in the Okanagan that does this. We were told that their menu is pretty much constantly changing, as nothing will be served if it isn’t fresh or Current, as far as locally sourced as much as possible, is concerned. This restaurant takes its food very seriously, and you’ll know this when you dine here.Overall, it was a very good tasting experience, located right down in Penticton, BC. if you have some time, I recommend checking this place out.Other notes:The entire facility is located in a heritage building, so there were some limitations imposed upon how much change they could make. There won’t be any other tasting bar like this in the Okanagan, they’ve made quite the effort to capture the wine tasting, “cocktail culture“ fine dining, a shared place, with some private rooms for you to book a more intimate function and/or events. I think they’ve even had at least one proposal planned on this location :-)“
“had a wonderful experience with Candace at this winery, she was extremely informative, friendly and clearly passionate about her wines and tastes. I absolutely love the story and character of this place, their label and brand is fun, playful and intrinsic of this winery's character.“
“This was one of the wineries that we visited on our Naramata Bench wine tour. The staff member that we had the tasting with was very informative. She taught us not only about the wines/how they are made but also shared information on how we go about tasting the wine. The vibe of the winery was very down to earth. I would recommend if you visit Naramata to stop by this winery.“
“We visited Serendipity Winery on Saturday, what a beautiful experience. The wine is lovely, the customer service is above par! We visited a number of wineries over the weekend, the experience was definitely number one out of all of them.“
“Beautiful view, great food & wines.“
“Came in while doing a wine tour with my boyfriend. We are both industry and wanted to do the sparkling flight because we both love bubbles, Chelsey did our tasting and took a picture of us and we absolutely adored her such a sweet wine educator!! And we were helped by Cindy at the end when buying a bottle of crémant and also very kind! Definitely will be coming back!“
“Both white and red wines are great.“
“Had a beautiful wine tasting set up for a group of 9. Learnt a lot about the company, the wines & about the proper glasses to drink from for the best taste. Beautiful view from the tasting room as well.
Took several bottles to enjoy at home 😊“
“First appearances were beautiful. The layout is lovely and they have very nice merchandise available. We were fortunate to experience the wine and chocolate pairing. Our tasting guide was very personable and knowledgeable, giving us an adequate break down of each wine.“
“I have the opportunity to have a tasting on a Monday morning,
As the winery google time was not reflected in the current hour of operation, the staff still make tasted what it was left open.
Price is very approachable and decent quality.
Staff was understanding and really respectful.
You have a walkable path from the parking to enjoy a great view.“
“Food was great and the service was incredible!! Beverley was absolutely fantastic!!“
“Excellent stop on a winery tour! It's on the smaller side with an excellent view and delicious Italian sandwich truck. The sandwiches are made to order and incredibly tasty. Their wines are also incredibly tasty and seemingly unpretentious, although they're very well done and stand up to the competition. Make sure to have enough time to enjoy a sandwich (or bring your own picnic) with that classic lake view.“
“WORTH THE READ: This place tops the charts of my favorite place to stay so far. The location has a beautiful view of okanagan lake. Even with others staying at the property, we rarely heard or saw other people so it was relatively private. My boyfriend and I absolutely enjoyed the hot tub, in-room fireplace was a must after a long cold day, bidet with warm seats, a delicious breakfast, and our free tasting. We also enjoyed a few friendly visits from Bruce(the owners dog) while he secures the grounds. This Inn is located about an hour or so from Kelowna which is a bit far for some who only want to explore the wineries in that area, however, we thought it was the perfect location to stop at more local wineries, breweries and cheese shops along the wine trail on our way to Kelowna.
Aside from our stay at the Inn, we went on a hike about 30 min from the inn where you can hike to the top of a rocky outlook to get a view of the inn from across the lake which was a very cool perspective. I would recommend this place to everyone, the staff go out of their way to make you feel comfortable and give you privacy. The view of the stars from the Inn was truly amazing and we are thankful to everyone from Therapy Inn & Vineyard for making our stay so special!
Walkability: There are over 15+ wineries, distilleries and cideries located within a 2-15 min walk from the inn.“
“Enjoyed our wine tasting, beautiful views and lovely covered patio where dogs are allowed. They brought out some water for our pup which was very thoughtful. They seem to know their winery language (even if I didn’t understand half of it). I enjoyed the white wines. $10/ person for tasting which is refunded if you buy 3+ bottles of wine.“
“Not just a tasting but an experience, great wines paired with knowledgeable staff and the gm is a gem. The atmosphere this place puts out is a must have on the bench well done team and and welcome back. I'll let the wines speak for themselves but it's a must see!“
“We’re so happy that we stopped here today!!! Such good wines and cheese and @Landon Ketterer was such a delight to interact with too: knowledgeable, friendly, personable!!! To anyone passing by, please do yourself a favour and stop at the Upper bench, you won’t regret it!!!“
“Stopped in here during a little winery crawl and the staff were so friendly and knowledgeable, it made the experience even better. The atmosphere was very nice and the tastings were $6 for 5 wines and they void that if you purchase a bottle, which of course we did! Would recommend.“

“I've been to a good many of wineries across Summerland, Peachland, and Kelowna. This one has been by far my favourite! The best service, the best price, and one of the best wines in the region for red, white, and roses.
Additionally, they also brew spirits in house such as absenth which you typically can't find in many places across North America.
Cheers!“
