“Oh my… this was quite an experience! When going there, letyourself be surprised by the Chef’s Menu (Menu dégustation in french). Surprise after surprise, it will make you live a real culinary experience! And our waiter (fluently bilingual) was excellent and vey passionate! Along with the lady who brought each plate and explained to us what they were. And finally the manager, I believe, who came over a few times to talk about the plates, the wine and how the pasta were made the same day, very early in the morning The wine suggestion was also perfect! Finally, the décor is not at all what you would expect, from looking at the menu on the web-site; very fresh, young, modern, yet very warm decor! Please go and try this place. I will definitely be back when travelling to Vancouver. Merciiii!“

“We had the Spaghetti Meatballs & Cherry Coke Ribs. The Spaghetti, eh, honestly, you could do better, forget the pasta at the pasta place lol. Those cherry coke ribs were so unbelievably good, and the side of Lemon Pepper Grilled Brussel Sprouts. OMG I would come here just for that. We finished off the night with a Tiramisu, and it didn't dissappoint. We will definitely be back. The only negative/ complaint if that, I notice a lot of people recommend it as a date spot, if you want to chat, dont bother, the place is so friggin loud lol“

“Long story short, their pasta was the bomb. They make it fresh right in front of you and it’s just an absolute winner. Simple as that. We had pasta in Italy and I would say they are comparable. If you’re a big pasta person, this place is definitely for you. That being said, the almond semifreddo dessert was not disappointing as well. As far as service goes, I appreciate that they don’t come up to you every 2 minutes to ask “how’s the first few bites?” yet all the servers are still friendly and attentive throughout. For me, it doesn’t get any better than that. Let me eat my food and if I need something, I’ll let you know. Important to note: if you’re coming on a Saturday, be sure to be there by 4- 4:10pm to make sure you get seated. The line gets really long shortly thereafter. A restaurant with a long line outside will always draw more attention than the empty ones, very clever 😉 So make sure you go early…. And enjoy!“

“Though it's only Jan, quite sure this will be one of the best dining experiences of the year, if not the top. Everyone and everything was perfect from the time we sat down till our departure. I ordered this dish from the special menu, apparently a popular item. However I found the chicken stinky and old, even with the flavorful sauce I couldn’t finish the meal and left it half way.
Apparently the staff don’t have any authority or control over customer satisfaction or compensation offers, so they just said nothing is wrong with the food and expressed they are sorry. Not sure if I will try their food again.

“I went with my partner and it all sounded so good; we wanted to try everything. We ended up ordering the breakfast pizza, brioche French toast, s'more appolino, and sourdough with ricotta and huckleberry. Everything was absolutely delicious. Such a wide variety of textures and flavors. The French toast is made from a Japanese milk bread so it's the most moist French toast you'll ever have. Nice coffee as well.
It's a little expensive but I think it's about average for Vancouver pricing and its fresh ingredients and quality make it worth it.
Service is also fantastic here. We had a few different waiters come to the table throughout the meal and everyone was super friendly and helpful. The environment also reflects this friendly hospitality.
Overall, amazing experience. Highly recommend for a casual or nicer dining experience.“

“Bacarro Restaurant is an absolute gem! Everything we tried was exceptional. The Frutti di Mare was bursting with fresh seafood flavor, and their green pasta was perfectly cooked with a rich, vibrant sauce. The beef steak was tender, juicy, and cooked to perfection — easily one of the best I’ve had.
For starters, the beef tartare and Burrata salad were incredible — fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. The service was top-notch; the chef and staff were warm, attentive, and constantly checked in to make sure we had everything we needed.
To top it all off, the cantaloupe gelato was to die for — creamy, refreshing, and the perfect sweet ending to an amazing meal.
Truly delivers both in taste and hospitality. Highly recommended for anyone who loves great food and great service! 🍝🍷🍨“

“The three of us and a dog came to Nonna’s Cucina on East Hastings for the first time after seeing it several times while driving by. We each ordered the rigatoni dish and in our opinion the quality was at par with Oca and La Tana. Very tasty and flavorful, and good portions. It was so neat to be served on pretty china instead of on a cardboard container. One of the staff came out while we were waiting at our table for our dishes and he was so kind to give our friend’s dog some bits of ham to enjoy! We are so glad to have tried this place out and we will definitely be returning again soon!“

“Our food was out of this world good and the prices were so reasonable. The cocktails were terrific. The Burrata Tomato appetizer had tomatoes so fresh I think they picked them off they vine out back! The Bolognese was very good, the Wagyu Lasagna was outstanding, and the Steak Special was fabulous. Angela knew every detail of the menu and gave great recommendations, and was perfectly attentive all night long. We are so glad CinCin was recommended to us by the concierge at our Hotel (The Loden).“

“While in Vancouver the beginning of November for medical appointments. My wife and I were undecided on were to eat. We walked out of our motel. Looked across the street and saw the Italian Kitchen, we walked over and asked if they had any seats available, it was a very busy night ,got our seats and our sever was Sam he was very pleasant. My wife and I both so impressed with our meal. If we ever go back to Vancouver I know we're I will be eating.“

“l Nido in Vancouver is an absolute gem! We came here as a family (me, my wife, and our 11-year-old son) and the pasta dishes completely blew us away. Every forkful was a total flavour explosion – the Amatriciana had the perfect smoky-spicy kick, the carbonara was rich and creamy without being heavy, and the kid’s spaghetti with house-made meatballs disappeared in record time because the sauce was so incredibly tasty. My son actually said “Dad, this is better than pizza!” …and that’s saying something.
But the real star of the show? Hands-down the best tiramisu we’ve ever had in our lives. A product of our Italian server’s mother - a perfect balance of coffee-soaked ladyfingers, silky mascarpone, and just the right dusting of cocoa. It’s so light yet decadent – we fought over the last bite (I let my wife win… this time).
Warm, welcoming service, cozy atmosphere, and every dish made with so much love. We’ll be back very soon – Il Nino just became our new family favourite in Vancouver! Highly recommend!“

“Heard about their amazing Pizza’s from our friend Kathy. We ordered two large pizza’s for pick up. Staff were absolutely amazing., polite and courteous. Even offered us a coffee while we waited. Final result pizza was loaded with toppings and tasted fresh. Definitely worth the price and we will travel the distance again.“

“After 30 years in business, it is no wonder dining at La Terrazza is a throwback to Tuscany! My wife and I loved it so much that we returned the following evening for "round two!" The menu is significant with so many tasty options and competitively priced. The room is a gorgeous, warmly appointed and romantic. Outdoor dining is well choreographed with heaters & roof covering for inclement weather and beautiful greenery making the dining exerience personal and rather private. Of course the Chef is what makes the world go around, however, what significantly adds to and makes this restaurant so special, are the people! Gennaro Iorio, has built this team over many years, with servers and staff that have worked there for many years. From the front-end welcome ( and then, unusually, follow-up service table-side,) the servers, who are not only experienced but genuine, sincere and thoroughly engaging, to the co-owner/partner, Gennaro making the effort to drop by the table to engage in meaningful conversation... The dining was not only exquisite but engaging and memorable. No small wonder with "this room full of professionals," we returned the following night to meet other folks in the team who were also, like the food; complementary amuse bouche, fresh & I mean fresh Tiger Prawn Cocktail, delightfully light & tasty Chilled Scallop Ceviche, juicy and flavourful Truffle Meatball starter, Roast Tomahawk Veal (crispy, then juicy scrumptious), & the best Spaghettini Lobster Carbonara this side of Tuscany... BTW, the wine list must be 40 pages! Both evenings were memory-makers and left us craving for La Terrazza to open in our home town. Lucky you if you live in Vancouver!“

“Good food, good wine list, good atmosphere, with excellent service. My one complaint is that they had no Peroni beer. Peroni should be in a every Italian restaurant, as it's Italy's national beer! When I brought this to the owners attention he was a bit snarley and defensive about it, instead of being gracious and understanding.“

“Celebrated my Milestone Birthday last night at this Fabulous Restaurant. I’ve always Loved this restaurant. We have being going since Umberto had the beautiful Tuscan yellow building. “Their fettuccine gamberi e funghi pasta is soooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo goood 10/10, I wanted so bad to order another one to go lol. Their garlic bread is also sooooooooooooo amazing (as was their bread). The pistachio icecream was also soooooooo goodddddddddddd (bellini icecream was pretty good as well but pistachio def the highlight)!!

We tried their pizza before and we thought it was okay. It's not bad but not really something we'd return for. We got a tomato one and the mushroom one. The tomato one was better than the mushroom one. Our mushroom one felt like it didn't have enough cheese, felt akin to just eating bread with some mushrooms and salad on top (perhaps just not my style for this place).“

Our waiter Mathias was very nice and helped us choose our drinks and food.
Their Mocha Espresso Martini and Aperol Sour were the best!
We started with burrata as an appetizer and continued with Mortadella pizza (Mamma Mia pizza) and Agnolotti - sooo good!!!
We ended the perfect evening with pistachio tiramisu, which I really enjoyed!
The only thing was that it was our anniversary, so we got our main course before I had finished my appetizer, so by the time I started eating my main course, it was already quite cold...“

“I really loved the friendly vibe here. I came in around 9 p.m. and chatted with a staff member named Kaito, who was super welcoming. The pasta was delicious; I tried both their pesto and Alfredo on two consecutive days, and both were super fresh and tasty. Plus, the fact that they offer halal food is a big bonus for me. “Good atmosphere, Great Food, quick food delivery. Prices appropriate for the quality of the food. Gluten free pasta options that work. The cocktails were just not good. Not sure if it was poorly executed or what but the margarita in particular was overly sour. Also siting at the bar having food condiments that close seemed like a food contamination issue in the making. Could have easily sneezed into them. Bartenders two inch fake nails also felt like a food safe issue.“

“My new favourite pizza place in the city. We came here on a Monday evening and there was a lineup. Line was moving pretty fast and the staff was doing everything to make sure everyone gets a table asap. We waited for about 15 mins but it was so worth it. The food was just amazing and huge quantity. Make sure to have the tiramisu at the end. Will be coming here often.“

We were seated almost immediately thanks to our reservation. However, our table was located right next to the coat rack, which was a bit inconvenient since people kept coming by to grab their coats.
The menu isn’t extensive, but the food was excellent. The meatballs and the bread with cultured butter stood out the most. Honestly think we could've skipped the pasta.
All in all, we’ll definitely be back, but there’s no rush.“

“This has been my favorite coffee spot for years it’s such a cute little cafe and the staff are always so friendly. On the other side, it doubles as a restaurant, and if I could afford the calories I’d probably be there just as often as I am for coffee. I always bring my family when they visit Vancouver, and it never disappoints. The wine list is fabulous, and while I usually avoid ordering pasta at restaurants because I think I can make it better myself, theirs is always simple but delicious and cooked to perfection. The carbonara and amatriciana are my go tos, the pizzas are all excellent, and the tiramisu is an absolute must.“

Beautiful home made crust, good quality REAL cheese, and fresh top quality toppings. The service was outstanding. Thank you to the awesome staff. Great atmosphere. Atmosphere is beautiful, moody, every detail feels intentional.
Standout was the pappardelle. Oysters always good. Tiramisu also delicious.
The pork - UNREAL. The juiciest, soft/qq, overall just a great bite.
Come with friends and share a lot. Come yourself and sit at the bar. Either way, worth checking out.“
