“Oh my… this was quite an experience! When going there, letyourself be surprised by the Chef’s Menu (Menu dégustation in french). Surprise after surprise, it will make you live a real culinary experience! And our waiter (fluently bilingual) was excellent and vey passionate! Along with the lady who brought each plate and explained to us what they were. And finally the manager, I believe, who came over a few times to talk about the plates, the wine and how the pasta were made the same day, very early in the morning The wine suggestion was also perfect! Finally, the décor is not at all what you would expect, from looking at the menu on the web-site; very fresh, young, modern, yet very warm decor! Please go and try this place. “We had the Spaghetti Meatballs & Cherry Coke Ribs. The Spaghetti, eh, honestly, you could do better, forget the pasta at the pasta place lol. Those cherry coke ribs were so unbelievably good, and the side of Lemon Pepper Grilled Brussel Sprouts. OMG I would come here just for that. We finished off the night with a Tiramisu, and it didn't dissappoint. We will definitely be back. The only negative/ complaint if that, I notice a lot of people recommend it as a date spot, if you want to chat, dont bother, the place is so friggin loud lol“

“Long story short, their pasta was the bomb. They make it fresh right in front of you and it’s just an absolute winner. Simple as that. We had pasta in Italy and I would say they are comparable. If you’re a big pasta person, this place is definitely for you. That being said, the almond semifreddo dessert was not disappointing as well. As far as service goes, I appreciate that they don’t come up to you every 2 minutes to ask “how’s the first few bites?” yet all the servers are still friendly and attentive throughout. For me, it doesn’t get any better than that. Let me eat my food and if I need something, I’ll let you know. Important to note: if you’re coming on a Saturday, be sure to be there by 4- 4:10pm to make sure you get seated. The line gets really long shortly thereafter. A restaurant with a long line outside will always draw more attention than the empty ones, very clever 😉 So make sure you go early…. And enjoy!“

“Excellent food and a great experience overall!

We had a bit of a hiccup with our reservation. My friend initially booked for 4, then called and emailed to change it to 6. They assured us it would be fine, though a bit tight. Unfortunately, it seems this wasn’t communicated to the restaurant. When we arrived, the table was clearly meant for 4. The three of us had to squeeze tightly on one side, and an extra chair was placed at the end of the table, right near the door and coat rack, which wasn’t ideal.

That said, the food more than made up for it! Everything we ordered was delicious. As an appetizer, the arancini was fantastic, though slightly bitter. The Parker House rolls were outstanding. For the mains, we all tried each other’s dishes, and the unanimous favorite was the beef cheeks—absolutely tender and flavorful. I had the cacio e pepe, and as a Brazilian, I thought I’d miss having protein, but it was perfect and so satisfying.

For dessert, we ordered three different ones to share, and while they were all great, the standout was the amaretto semifreddo.

Despite the table mix-up, the food and service were amazing, and I’d definitely come back, when I can $$ lol (be prepared)

Parking: Be aware that the parking lot (in front) door close automatically at 10 PM sharp. We were just a minute later leaving and were almost locked inside!“

“The food here is unbelievable—refined, creative, delicately-flavored and delicious. Highlights included the raw fish with calamansi (citrus) and cucumber, prosciutto with poached pears and cured peperoncini, and a not-too-sweet tiramisu bathed in top-quality cocoa powder and topped with a chocolate/lavender wafer cookie. The staff were outstanding—full marks to Daniel and Miriana for their friendly, efficient table service that was attentive without being overbearing. Can’t wait to eat here again!“

The Burrata Tomato appetizer had tomatoes so fresh I think they picked them off they vine out back! The Bolognese was very good, the Wagyu Lasagna was outstanding, and the Steak Special was fabulous. Angela knew every detail of the menu and gave great recommendations, and was perfectly attentive all night long. We are so glad CinCin was recommended to us by the concierge at our Hotel (The Loden).“

“While in Vancouver the beginning of November for medical appointments. My wife and I were undecided on were to eat. We walked out of our motel. Looked across the street and saw the Italian Kitchen, we walked over and asked if they had any seats available, it was a very busy night ,got our seats and our sever was Sam he was very pleasant. “We thoroughly enjoyed our early September week night dinner at Lupo's. We were a party of four sixty somethings. The restaurant being in what was once a house made the dining area quiet and intimate. Service was outstanding. Recommendations for wine parings were provided and spot on. “There is nothing I love more than a sourdough pizza and this one really hits all the marks. My new favorite pizza spot in Vancouver! The staff are so friendly and the Hunnybee space is always a hit. I had ordered the mushroom pizza + frisée and it was so so good. The crust is phenomenal; quite chewy but that is how I prefer it. Couldn’t recommend enough — cannot wait to come back and try more!“

Of course the Chef is what makes the world go around, however, what significantly adds to and makes this restaurant so special, are the people! Gennaro Iorio, has built this team over many years, with servers and staff that have worked there for many years. From the front-end welcome ( and then, unusually, follow-up service table-side,) the servers, who are not only experienced but genuine, sincere and thoroughly engaging, to the co-owner/partner, Gennaro making the effort to drop by the table to engage in meaningful conversation... The dining was not only exquisite but engaging and memorable. No small wonder with "this room full of professionals," we returned the following night to meet other folks in the team who were also, like the food; complementary amuse bouche, fresh & I mean fresh Tiger Prawn Cocktail, delightfully light & tasty Chilled Scallop Ceviche, juicy and flavourful Truffle Meatball starter, Roast Tomahawk Veal (crispy, then juicy scrumptious), & the best Spaghettini Lobster Carbonara this side of Tuscany... You're not getting some mass corporate restaurant with a line of cooks that microwave the sauces. (I know some very busy supposed "high end" restaurants that microwave rice and the sauces in plastic bags).

“We had arrabbiata pasta and it was very tasty, steaming hot and the foccatia we had with it was the best I have ever had.
We sat outside which no doubt would not suit some as they would say it was noisey and polluting. We had a lovely meal with good service from a kiwi waiter and if we were here longer would go back.
It was more expensive than we could afford every week but well worth the treat.“
