“This is quite possibly the best restaurant I’ve ever been to.

I don’t know if this is the typical experience, but whenever I go to a fine dining restaurant I end up enjoying the amuse-bouche and appetizers more than the entrees. Maybe I’ve just had bad luck. But not this place — every single dish was executed to perfection, and the mains were the best I’ve had of their kind: the fondue omelette, the pastas, and the fried fish were absolute standouts. The truffle fondue omelette in particular blew my mind. I can’t recommend this place enough!“

“Oh my… this was quite an experience! When going there, letyourself be surprised by the Chef’s Menu (Menu dégustation in french). Surprise after surprise, it will make you live a real culinary experience! And our waiter (fluently bilingual) was excellent and vey passionate! Along with the lady who brought each plate and explained to us what they were. And finally the manager, I believe, who came over a few times to talk about the plates, the wine and how the pasta were made the same day, very early in the morning The wine suggestion was also perfect! “We had the Spaghetti Meatballs & Cherry Coke Ribs. The Spaghetti, eh, honestly, you could do better, forget the pasta at the pasta place lol. Those cherry coke ribs were so unbelievably good, and the side of Lemon Pepper Grilled Brussel Sprouts. OMG I would come here just for that. We finished off the night with a Tiramisu, and it didn't dissappoint. We will definitely be back. The only negative/ complaint if that, I notice a lot of people recommend it as a date spot, if you want to chat, dont bother, the place is so friggin loud lol“

“Excellent food and a great experience overall!

We had a bit of a hiccup with our reservation. My friend initially booked for 4, then called and emailed to change it to 6. They assured us it would be fine, though a bit tight. Unfortunately, it seems this wasn’t communicated to the restaurant. When we arrived, the table was clearly meant for 4. The three of us had to squeeze tightly on one side, and an extra chair was placed at the end of the table, right near the door and coat rack, which wasn’t ideal.

That said, the food more than made up for it! Everything we ordered was delicious. As an appetizer, the arancini was fantastic, though slightly bitter. The Parker House rolls were outstanding. For the mains, we all tried each other’s dishes, and the unanimous favorite was the beef cheeks—absolutely tender and flavorful. I had the cacio e pepe, and as a Brazilian, I thought I’d miss having protein, but it was perfect and so satisfying.

For dessert, we ordered three different ones to share, and while they were all great, the standout was the amaretto semifreddo.

Despite the table mix-up, the food and service were amazing, and I’d definitely come back, when I can $$ lol (be prepared)

Parking: Be aware that the parking lot (in front) door close automatically at 10 PM sharp. We were just a minute later leaving and were almost locked inside!“

“Long story short, their pasta was the bomb. They make it fresh right in front of you and it’s just an absolute winner. Simple as that. We had pasta in Italy and I would say they are comparable. If you’re a big pasta person, this place is definitely for you. That being said, the almond semifreddo dessert was not disappointing as well. As far as service goes, I appreciate that they don’t come up to you every 2 minutes to ask “how’s the first few bites?” yet all the servers are still friendly and attentive throughout. For me, it doesn’t get any better than that. Let me eat my food and if I need something, I’ll let you know. Important to note: if you’re coming on a Saturday, be sure to be there by 4- 4:10pm to make sure you get seated. The line gets really long shortly thereafter. A restaurant with a long line outside will always draw more attention than the empty ones, very clever 😉 So make sure you go early…. And enjoy!“

“We have been traveling from the Seattle area to Vancouver since 1999 on a regular basis. In 2005 we discovered CinCin. Since then, we NEVER go to Vancouver without having dinner there. We have never had a single morsel of food that we didn't love. We celebrate our big anniversaries there. We have been there for our 10th, 15th, 20th and last night our 25th. We have been to more than 50 countries around the world and we love to eat but CinCin is our favorite restaurant. Can't wait to celebrate our 30th there and a bunch of times in between.“

“While in Vancouver the beginning of November for medical appointments. My wife and I were undecided on were to eat. We walked out of our motel. Looked across the street and saw the Italian Kitchen, we walked over and asked if they had any seats available, it was a very busy night ,got our seats and our sever was Sam he was very pleasant. I've visited twice now and had a great experience both times. Gavin from Dublin was one of our wonderful servers, and he made our visit extra special by surprising us with a complimentary dessert to celebrate my partner and I’s 1-year anniversary - such a thoughtful gesture!

The only minor downside was the noise level inside the restaurant. It was quite lively, making it difficult to hear my partner at times. However, this is simply due to the popularity and vibrant atmosphere of the place.

Additionally, the cleanliness of the bathroom could have been better, as shown in the photo attached to this review. I believe this was likely due to some guests not treating it properly rather than any fault of the staff.

“La Terrazza is a truly world-class Italian restaurant. It was recently recognized with an international "Ospitalita Italiana Award" and regularly hosts travelling celebrities. The restaurant exudes understated elegance, yet is reasonably priced for the Vancouver market. It's a "if you know, you know" kind of place. The consistently excellent dining experience my wife and I had over several years made it our choice for our wedding reception - a fabulous experience. Following that, my professional association holds events there in one of the private rooms every few months. We used to hold events at the Fairmont Hotel Vancouver, the Sutton Place Hotel, etc., and were quite happy with those places; the La Terrazza experience exceeds even those, which is considerable praise given how good those venues are.“
