Great food great ambiance for lunch with friends !
We always drive through this restaurant but it is the first time we try it.
The price, portions and food are good.
They are very busy doing the take out.
I saw a lady take out 2 cake boxes from here.

Kimu Japanese Cuisine is a cute little hole in the wall restaurant with great service and a variety of food. The food is decently priced, and the portions are well-sized. They offer combo bentos with sashimi sushi and tempura, perfectly cooked takoyaki, soft shell crab, and pork belly Korean hot stone pot. This restaurant is a best-kept sushi secret with consistently excellent sushi and crispy tempura. Diners can enjoy a huge selection of diverse offerings, including the two types of ramen—miso and tonkotsu—with the hottest broth in Vancouver, perfect for a chilly day. While sushi is available for takeout only, the ramen is a must-try for a happily warmed-up experience. The basic ebi sunomono, with prawns, shrimp, diced peaches, cucumber, carrots, lemon, and a gentle rice vinegar, is better and prettier than anywhere else. The staff are sweet and attentive, contributing to the good vibes. Kimu is a must-try for satisfying sushi cravings and offers lots of creative dishes with Korean inspiration, all at a good price.
