“Discovered Puerto Mexico last week and I’ve already been twice! Their bean tacos are soooooo good and cheap! I got 4 tacos for $16 I think. Best authentic tacos in Vancouver hands down. I’ve been telling everyone about this place because it’s just so good. The staff are so so friendly as well! Highly recommend“

“Last visit:
I ordered this dish from the special menu, apparently a popular item. However I found the chicken stinky and old, even with the flavorful sauce I couldn’t finish the meal and left it half way.
Apparently the staff don’t have any authority or control over customer satisfaction or compensation offers, so they just said nothing is wrong with the food and expressed they are sorry. Not sure if I will try their food again.

First visit:
Lovely staff, nice and clean place, tasty dessert.

Quick explanation from the staff could really help guests get the most out of the menu. Overall, though, the tacos were fantastic and I’d definitely come back!“

“They are definitely busy on the weekends, but I understand why! Lots of people want to eat here and it’s due to the workers, atmosphere and most importantly food. I also really appreciate Maria & Catalina for accommodating me during my visit. I’m allergic to nuts and my meal came with it (i had no idea and usually i specify before i eat, but i forgot this particular day) and they re-made my food for me without hesitation and it came out pretty fast even thought I ordered the ribeye hash. Definitely stop by if you’re in the area!“

“Just had the chicken burrito made by Karan, and it was absolutely delicious! The flavors were perfectly balanced — tender, well-seasoned chicken, fresh ingredients, and just the right amount of spice. You can really tell it was made with care. Everything was wrapped up perfectly, and it held together without being soggy or dry. Easily one of the best burritos I’ve had in a while. Great job, Karan.“

We have been about 6 times since they opened in December - I can confirm that Brunch, Lunch, Happy Hour and Dinners are all fantastic! Truly authentic Mexican food and fantastic Margaritas and Palomas!!!!! The serving staff & bartenders are great. I forgot to take photos the other trips …but, here our breakfast from today (Chicken Enchiladas, Huarache Con Cochinita & Huevos Rancheros)“

“Great addition to the Granville strip. We enjoyed our time here. Recommend the Molcajete Mexicano and the Del Trompo a tu Trompa. Desserts including the churro were all fabulous. Portions were pretty decent and we were full and still had a big take away box. The server was such a sweetheart and really attentive. Will definitely be back and bring friends once covid is over.“

“We had a reservation for four to celebrate a birthday, and about 30 minutes before our scheduled time the restaurant called to say they were fully booked and asked us to disregard our reservation. This was understandably frustrating, especially given the occasion. After expressing our concern, they checked with the manager and called back to apologize, explaining it was an internal issue and ultimately honored our reservation, which we appreciated.

While I had mentioned in advance that we were celebrating a birthday, it wasn’t acknowledged by the staff during our visit. It’s a small detail, but those little touches can really make a difference for special occasions.

That said, once we were seated, the overall experience was good. The drinks were great, the atmosphere was enjoyable, and the value was excellent. With better communication and a bit more attention to special moments, this could easily be a standout spot.“

“This isnt a dine in location. But instead a remote kitchen in an industrial area that is for food pickups only (like uber eats, skip the dishes, etc). Did not know this until I arrived. “Downtown place is nothing special, but the service was friendly and quick. I got a large burrito and it was a lot to eat. Messy, so know what you're getting yourself into. But it held together and didn't break as I ate it. Not cheap - large burrito and a coke came to $19 very quickly. But overall, a nice lunch, hence the 4 stars.“

“I come by at this place often whenever there is a boy the service feels good, but I don’t know about the girls. I have ordered separately three times from three girls. They are very unfriendly.I don’t think so They know what customer service is about no greeting nothing at all and it feels like we are Making them work a lot by just asking what is expected from them. You ask for anything they’re rude then they don’t even put proper portions. I’ve never been greeted when I walked in never been smiled at. I am the one who’s saying thank you. They’re very unprofessional rude and and so not fitted for customer service I am writing this review after experiencing this three times last time I tried to call and I asked for a manager they even lied that I am the manager when I when I asked who am I speaking to then they were like oh give me five minutes and then they hung up so very rude very unprofessional. If you’re the owner or the manager reading this letting you know that I’ve asked for you as well, but they don’t share the information of course they won’t but they won’t even share the day so i can come and talk to the manager so I had to write a bad review, I’m sorry, but really I love the food, but ordering from those girls ruins the experience.
