Naman absolutely made my day! He was incredibly friendly, professional, and quick all while making one of the best subs I’ve had in a long time. “Standard Subway place, strategically located near the river walk in downtown Vancouver: on a beautiful summer Sunday, all places along the river were packed for lunch, and we were lucky to find this Subway just a couple of blocks away, so our lunch was saved. The dining room indoor (no tables outside) was pleasantly air-conditioned, the staff was kind and efficient, the place was clean and welcoming. We spent CAD 14 for a couple of sandwiches.“

“It's a Subway franchise. Clean shop, food is fresh, all the basics done right.

But the guy behind the counter (franchise owner?) was what made the visit noteworthy (in a good way).

He was very friendly with the customer ahead of me - in the best, neighbourly kind of sense - they were chatting about winter tires... All Season vs. All Weather...

He was professional and friendly with me as well while taking my order & payment.

And then, AFTER I'd finished eating, he swung by to remind me that refills on the fountain drinks were free, and to help myself.

Seemed to sincerely care about the customer experience and adding value to my visit.

“This is our regular go-to subway as we live close by. I’ve never had any issues with my orders (I often put them in online and then pick up). It can get busy in there at peak times, but staff have always been friendly and as efficient as they can be. Read some of the negative reviews and was surprised - the lady who usually works there is quiet so perhaps could be taken the wrong way if you’re wanting a Kindergarten teacher personality to serve you. When I order in, she’s always happy to load up the toppings if I ask for it.
We often get a free cookie when ordering online if the manager is around.
The store is always clean and tidy, the food is fresh, the staff are polite and I’ve never had any issues incorrect order when picking up.
Ignore the complainers - there’s nothing wrong with this store.“

“Awesome location? Near UBC hospital. Cheaper and better meal quality than McDonalds! Open 24 hours! Perfect for working near by. Unfortunately I have to order on the app to use the coupon. (Tim Hortons app I can order in person using the app coupons.) I like ordering in person. Clean restaurant. Fully stocked chip display. Good selection of cookies. The wall menu is easy to read. The drink case is fully stocked. High and regular hight tables. (My friend has back issues. Meaning no sitting in a chair.) The sandwich was ready before the estimated time. Will return again!“

“Amazing Customer Service at Subway (1095 Hornby St.)

Subway has been one of my favorite meals for many years. Even though I’ve had some mixed experiences at different locations, I always come back because I genuinely enjoy their food.

Today, for the first time, someone actually offered me a solution when I asked a question.

I always ask if they have any spicy options, since sometimes they offer spicy chicken or beef. And almost every time, I also ask the person making my sandwich: “Which protein would you recommend between this one and that one?” The answer I usually get—99% of the time—is: “I don’t know.”

But today was different. A kind and friendly girl (Tuesday, March 4th, at 11 AM) helped me with a big smile on her face. When I asked what she recommended, she didn’t just say “I don’t know.” Instead, she told me they didn’t have spicy options, but she offered to make my sandwich spicy by adding hot sauce, spicy cheese, and jalapeños—she actually looked for ways to give me what I wanted.

This small act of kindness truly made my day!“

“Good service, clean. I was about to leave a tip but I always ask in these type of restaurant if they get their tips and NO. This is sad my lunch was ready so I paid for it but not wearing work uniform I would have leave, that's unacceptable taking money from your staff, discusting.

“With Subway you know what you should be getting every time so why are they all so very different? For me it comes down to the staff and the service.
I had an early breakfast here. Went for the bacon and egg footlong with cheese, toasted then with fresh tomatoes, pickles and the BBQ sauce. It's always difficult to reheat eggs and bacon, so was it perfect? No. If you want that cook it yourself at home. It was as expected but for the price, great value for money and a filling breakfast when you are on the run. Much better than the breakfast footlongs I've had in the UK.
Although the shop is quite small it was clean, toilet was clean, soap in the dispenser and everything worked. Window seating with bench that had phone charging points which was a nice touch.
The staff were polite and helpful, even if they couldn't always understand my English accent!

I was happy enough with it to go back for a late lunch of a footlong steak and cheese with BBQ sauce and all the trimmings which looked and tasted as fresh as my morning visit.

“I came into this subway today and I have never been to this subway but every time I go to a different one there is always something wrong. I came in and ordered my sandhwich and a drink Ranjit was helping me out she was kind and had a positive attitude, she gave me recommendations when I didn’t know what to get, Ranjit was talking to me while my food was in the oven and she was really kind. Simple meatball but he was chatty, sub tasted great on a cold November night. (No in-store eating from 11pm-7am). Will definitely go back as they’re one of the few 24-hr spots in miles.“

“This subway has always done a great job on making my cold cut subs which is the only sub i will order and i stopped here a couple times while attending the Anirevo convention as it's really close by but they seem to be short staffed on Saturday nights as there was only one employee working after 9pm on a Saturday night. So they should hire more night staff. And the only employee that was working started making someone's else's sub when I just wanted to pay right away during my second visit. Other than that and the increased wait everything about my sub was perfect.“

“The sandwiches tasted good, the soup tasted good. The service was good. They were able to get all of the toppings I asked for correctly. It didnt take long for them to finish making the 4 sandwiches we ordered. The only complaint I have is that when I asked for a little bit of mayo, they ended up squeezing way too much.

“I’m a single mom of two boys and ran out of money, this week I depended on my gift cards. I had a gift card to subway, so decided to eat here. The Cashier (Sundeep) checked how much I had, it was only $5. I had another $6 to spend on top. Sundeep was super patient as I tried to convince the boys to get something we can afford. She didn’t know the back story but quietly observed us. She offered us options that would make it work. I appreciate how patient and empathetic she was. She’s got great listening skills! We ended up dining in and she asked continued to make conversation with the boys as we ate. Thank you Sundeep, I was already exhausted coming into the store but your kindness made a huge difference in our day.“
