About Sushi High

Sushi High is a restaurant known for its delicious food, with standouts including the salmon belly and aburi and oshi sushi. The Korean Chirashi Don is a top pick for many, featuring huge portions, fresh ingredients, and great taste. The staff is friendly, and the service can be quick, although it can be hit-or-miss depending on who is working that day. Prices are reasonable, but some find the rest of the menu to be overpriced and lackluster. The presentation of the food is impressive, with large sushi creations, including gigantic rolls, which can be too large to eat in a single bite. While the restaurant is a convenient option for those in the area, it does have a bit of an old and rundown appearance. Despite these issues, many may still find it a regular spot due to the overall quality of the food. Recent reviews highlight the freshness and size of the sushi, with one mentioning that the rolls are huge and tasty. The place is smaller with limited seating, and parking can be a bit tricky, especially off busy Broadway. Service remains friendly, and the food is served quickly. The restaurant seems to do a lot of take-outs, with some party trays available for “take out only.” Many customers appreciate the authentic Korean influence on the sushi, recognizing the local value it offers.

This was my first occaision coming here and it was actually pretty good. Miso was a liiiiitle bit too salty for my taste but the black rice sushi was very nice change from the usual fare. The assorted tempura was a very generous portion with a beautiful fry on the panko breading --- i just wish this hadn't come 15m after the rest of the items (i almost cancelled the order but would have felt bad in-retrospect). The chicken Terikyaki don was just okay and really wasnt very hot...read full review

Nice place, it’s changed over the years.
Food was pretty good and affordable with the 10% discount.
Younger waitress lacked service and attentiveness … rolled her eyes when asked a question. Glad the other waitress was pleasant.

Ive driven by this place a 100 times and never thought anything of it. A business associate recommended it so I met him there for lunch. Good choice. We shared several rolls, all of which were tasty, I can't decide which was my favorite. Nice presentation and good service. I will be back.
