“Shuck Taylor’s is one of the most welcoming and relaxing restaurants I’ve ever dined in. It’s my go-to everytime I visit the city. Everything is exceptional. The food, service, music and atmosphere is completely well thought and dialed in. I always leave with a big smile full belly but most importantly, really great memories. I’m looking forward to my next visit already. A gem on Vancouver Island.“

“Beautiful restaurant with scenic views, attentive service, inspired dishes ( lots going on with each plate - volume, colours, textures, and tastes which made each plate very interesting), but most of all pretty incredible value. Chris's 10 oz chunk of strip loin and sides are highly recommended.“

“We had a surprise 50th Anniversary party there with 70+ people and everything was perfect. Staff was great and the food was delicious. I would recommend the Rack to all my friends and family. Jasmine and Cole have got this down pat. 5 out of 5“
“Had a blast here. The owner was spectacularly passionate about board games and made everything fun. Right now, the prices at Board with Friends TOO cheap, not sure how they stay in business? Hopefully they will raise it later. Take advantage of it while you can!“

“Went last night for a girls night... no wait to be seated.. food was incredible... service impeccable and very attentive... will definitely be returning! The oysters were sweet and buttery. I had to get a 2nd order.... Oh and the house white wine was the best I've ever had.“

“The atmosphere here captures the authentic Korean pocha vibe perfectly. However, the food fell short; the chicken was a bit dry and tasted old, and the jokbal didn't seem very fresh. Despite this, the chance to sample a variety of Korean drinks in such a lively setting makes it worth a visit. I’d definitely recommend giving it a try.“

“I went here with my family for lunch
I ate an tuna sandwich and it was so delicious wow, the coffe was also very good and you have a big selection of different styled coffe. The waitor was so friendly not in the „I want a big tip“ way rather in the I am friendly because I am a good person! At first we ordered to go but after we paid like 3min later we changed our mind and asked if we can change the order to eat there. And the waitor immidiately ran into the kitchen and told everybody to change our order and it worked out perfectly and we had a good time!!“

“The food was lovely and the service was great! Our table was beautifully set with fresh lavender and a candle lit water lantern. The restaurant is rather small, so I would recommend a reservation.
The quality of the products they use is definitely 10 out of 10. The Bison was cooked to perfection and exactly matching my request. The creme Brulee was one of the best we've had on the island.
Definitely recommend this lovely restraunt with amazing staff.
Vegetarian options: I definitely saw vegetarian options on the menu that sounds absolutely delicious.“

“L'Apero catered our professional event today and to say the food was outstanding is an understatement. Deliciously fresh and inviting, top quality ingredients and excellent service. Some really wonderful and unanticipated additions (honeycomb, figs, sugared cranberries) The pate and cheese was to die for. The entire staff were blown away. Thank you for such an amazing lunch!“
