He was wonderfully accommodating and down-to-earth, making us feel right at home. The wine tasted awesome, so much so that we even visited their other property, Kalala, specifically for their ice wine. Overall, we had the most amazing time at Little Straw. Off The Grid Winery is one of our favourite places! 100 year + working farm, fully organic approach, craft small batch, free range critters, very picturesque and has a garden food truck! Nestled beside the Glen Canyon, this beautiful farm has been in the Paynter family for over 5 generations. Mid elevation, western slope and coupled with old world traditional organic farming delivers stunning wine production and an unique profile in the Valley. Maintaining its casual, unpretentious, wine-country vibe paired with exceptional wines and gorgeous views-it’s definitely a destination winery! “Recently did a tasting and loved it. Roger guided us through an array of wines and explained them very well including uses in cooking and pairing. Was a great experience. My husband and I joined the wine club membership we liked so many wines we tasted. The tasting was a sit down experience with some snacks which we all really appreciated, not rushed like so many other wineries are. Our new favourite place!“

“We have been member of Hatch for many years and the staff may change, however those who are consistent are so incredible. Riley, Francis, and Jessie make every visit so fun. Any time we have out of town guests we always take them to Hatch or Black Swift, as well as other wineries, and the staff at Black Swift are always a fave.“

“We recently moved to Kelowna from Wpg. One of our neighbours here took us to Crown & Thieves for an afternoon wine tasting. My wife and I absolutely loved it. Definitely not what we were expecting. It was a very eclectic and unique experience. The staff was very friendly. We even got to meet the wine maker and owner Jason. We were so impressed that we purchased a wine club membership. We often get guests visit us from Wpg and of course they want to go wine tasting. We always ensure that we take them to Crown & Thieves. Everyone we have brought there have absolutely loved it as well. Like us, not what they were expecting from an Okanagan winery but they were so pleasantly surprised. This is the best wine club membership in the Okanagan. With our membership we are also included in memberships from the fol wineries: Crown &Thieves The Hatch Black Swift as well as Truck 59 Cidery. The atmosphere at each establishment is different but very unique in its own way. But, the one thing that I did find similar though is the staff is very friendly and seem to take great pride in working there. If you have just moved to the Okanagan and would like to get a membership to a wine club, this is is the best value and most enjoyable club to be a member of. Very highly recommend this membership.“

“What an incredible experience! From the moment we arrived at the winery, we were made to feel welcome—literally—with a glass of welcome wine while we waited to be seated. The setting was stunning, and the patio is the perfect place to relax and soak it all in.

The food and wine were absolutely outstanding—every dish was beautifully presented and paired perfectly with their selection of wines. The team was knowledgeable and passionate, answering all our questions about both the menu and the wines with such care.

A special shoutout to the manager, Nicky, who was absolutely lovely and made our visit even more memorable. Her warmth and hospitality really stood out.
