The meat is tender, the portions are enooooormous, and after our second visit, we can confidently say this spot is creeping its way onto our favorites list. Definitely one to revisit (or officially mark as loved).“

“Chicken Box is a nice alternative to some of the bigger names in Korean fried chicken. I ordered their yangnyeom (sweet & spicy) chicken and fries for pick-up, and it was ready at the specified time and the staff were friendly. It travelled well and was still crispy/warm when I got home.

Their sweet & spicy flavour unfortunately had no discernible spice and was quite sweet, but I still enjoyed it. However, if I’m in the mood for some spicier yangnyeom next time, I’ll probably need to go elsewhere to satisfy that craving.“

“Wow the boneless original chicken was just so juicy and light batter, seasoned nicely, so fresh, and easy to eat! The spicy chicken was fairly mild… not quite like buldak spicy… maybe more yangnyeom level… not too spicy or too sweet. Both were sooooo very good. The side dish of pickled daikon cubes was also very tasty. Fully recommend! Also, they have 10% off during happy hour on Monday-Thursday! Would definitely order from them again!“

“While walking along Robson Street during the holidays, I stopped for lunch at Chicko Chicken. I ordered the Chicko meal with boneless chicken, fries, and a drink. Everything is prepared fresh, so there is a short wait, but it’s worth it. The chicken was juicy inside and crispy outside, and the fries were hot and crisp. Jiyhe provided attentive, welcoming service.“

“Ordered the spicy grilled chicken rice bowl as well as a spicy tuna and a garlic chicken kimbap. Chicken on rice was delicious, moist, and covered in a buldak sauce. The kimbap was also great. It wasn't eaten until much later, but the rice didn't dry out or get mushy and the rice:filling ratio was just right. I'll definitely be back for more kimbap!“

The original was juicy and quite good, while the soy garlic also had good flavor, though the surface was a bit overly sticky—almost like candy. The half-and-half was just about enough for two people, and overall, I enjoyed the takeout experience here. Not sure if I’d dine in though—the space looked a bit cramped.“

“Shout our to whoever was working tonight. They had a 2 for one on Uber eats which included a side. They didn't list mashed potatoes as an option. In the notes I asked for mashed potatoes if possible. They gave me a call, not to say they couldn't, but to make sure I wanted mashed for both.

I'm used to these requests being ignored. They rock for going above and beyond. I hope the owner sees this and the employee gets the recognition they deserve.“

“Always fresh, minus the fries. I have always gotten cold limp fries the six times I've gone. Super busy on Saturday, order through the app, expect to wait even if it says it's ready. Cashier's are always super nice even when they're flooded.

Reminder: Order with the app and give it an extra 10 minutes from the time it says it will be ready. Especially on the weekend at dinner time.“

“Came across this place recently and thought I'd try, and I'd have to say its pretty good. We went during lunch hour so it was quiet. They had tables so we were able to eat in.
The Chicken was cooked perfectly, crisp on the outside and juicy in the inside. Their fries were fab. Its one of those seasoned thick crispy style fries which I like. I also like that the food was not too salty like in other places. We got a half order of boneless chicken and half order of bone-in chicken, and fries, and it was too much for 2 people. We ended up bringing leftovers home so I'd say its a good value for the price and for what you get.
It takes about 10 mins or so to cook the chicken but you can call in to preorder if you prefer not to wait. The guy behind the counter was nice and polite and the place was kept clean. Good place to go when you crave fried chicken.“
