“Came in hungry and immediately felt welcomed. The staff was friendly, attentive, and quick to help from the start. Service was smooth, drinks stayed filled, and the overall atmosphere was comfortable and inviting before we even got our food. You can tell they care about giving people a good experience. “I started coming here as a kid for the pancakes. Now that I'm older I still go for the pancakes...but the other food is great too! Great location to grab breakfast with the family and then a short hike to the beach to burn off the calories. Can get super crowded but is worth the wait for the home cooked local dinner feel. I have never had a bad experience here.“

“it feels a lot like a midwestern diner, but it's clearly californian because the pies use canned filling. i've been here a few times, different days and times, and the food tends to be a bit bland. still, that's not a bad thing. it definitely tastes like something my grandma would've cooked, so it's very nostalgic“

“The food was fresh and hot, the wait staff was pleasant, the one whom was assisting us and seated us was not the waiter. We would have preferred to give her the tip because she was so pleasant. Waitress was nice but spread thin, maybe more staff needed. Overall good experience, good staff, serious eat there again.
