“We had already been to the location in uptown Carlsbad and had always wanted to try this location by the beach. The crew members were very courteous and attentive. We were seated at an ocean view location, which was perfect til the screaming kid next to us kept testing the acoustics in the building. The parents had no intention of calming him down. We asked to move to another seat, and we took the option of sitting in the bar area. The outside dining area wasn't available for another hour. Unfortunately, we could periodically still hear the kid screaming, but it wasn't as loud. The food was great! Our waitress was excellent! The seating in the main lobby could've been a little more spacious, and the parking could be an issue if it weren't for the great valet parking. We definitely will be back.“

“Excellent upscale but casual restaurant. Great selection of beers and other drinks. Open and airy space. The food tastes great and is a good value for the large portions and on point tastes. It is located in an easy to reach mall with lots of open parking.“

“ok where to start my bill was about $ 250 for 2ppl and a $50 tip. i ordered a surf and turf in place filet i asked for NY strip. 2 rum n cokes gf got a salad I forget what else. I went out for a smoke half of my rubber tiny lobster tail like 6oz was still on my plate with some of my steak I came back the waiter took it away. like wtf it wasnt off to the side it was in front of my seat silverware still sitting there. I was overr charged. it seems I was charged for a NY STRIP AND A SURF AND TURF. I spend money like most breath oxygen but This was not cool I was so pissed I just wanted to leave since they took my food ruined the anniversary and birthday dinner for me. I did call and ask to speak with a manager and no one ever called me back. This is one place I will not be returning to. the food was ehh lobster tail OVERCOOKED to the point of rubber the taking of my plate with half of my food still on it the double charge. I've eaten at more expensive and less expensive places and it seems the lesser expensive have way better food where you spend $150-$200 for 2 ppl are way better. simple put save your money do not bother. and oh yes waited 20 to 25 mins for drinks thats the time from being asked to getting them...“

“Come hungry! If you’re needing a protein fix, here it is! The salad bar is the finest I’ve ever experienced! Absolute top quality ingredients. I didn’t try the soups but they looked incredible. The carvers will bring about a dozen different proteins by your table and carve you as much as you want. The bacon wrapped filet was my favorite. The beef ribs were not very flavorful, nor were the pork ribs. You can get a 1/2 price coupon book for $69 that will give you twelve meals at 1/2 price. You could use it for a table of 12 if you desired! I’ll definitely return when I want to overload on meat!“

“Lots of fun in here. They have peanuts again. ? Even gave us a bag for later. Shrimp were cooked well and my husband had the t-bone. Atmosphere is light and fun. Country western themed. There's always a good crowd most days of the week. Very affordable meal. The biscuits and butter are the best. You can pick your own meat before you sit down if you want as well. Parking can be difficult on weekends and usually a wait so get there early.Parking: Weekend parking is tough and spaces are a little tight.“

“We ordered the short rib dish and the baseball steak, both were very good. The oysters were delicious also. I have to tell you though if you are a chocolate lover, they're s'mores dessert with chocolate mousse is over the top delicious. Even though it's delicious, you cannot eat very much in one sitting, so I took it home and it kept beautifully for the next two nights. I will remember that for quite some time.“

“We went on a Sunday after the brunch rush and it was nice and quiet.We had stuffed mushrooms with crab they were good for appetizersI ordered a bloody Mary and a margarita Cadillac and the drinks where good as wellI had the Cesar salad and it was ok but the spinach salad was better!The main meal was delicious I have a filet mignon with a perfectly baked potato and it was very very good!!The wild chicken in mushroom sauce was very good too!!I will definitely go back!!“
