“Great food and service but they need to do something about the hostess stand location. It is very awkward and there is nowhere to stand when waiting for a table. I moved forward and four groups cut in front of me since the hostess did not ask who was next in line, she just looked at someone else and took their information.“

“The young man @ the desk when I arrived had told me that he had saved the one booth left for us today. He knew we had a reservation for 2 adults and 2 dogs. This was perfect. Most other customers did not even know the dogs were laying down under the table. We will be back again soon.“

Our waitress was extremely helpful explaining the menu and offering suggestions. We each decided on chowder & a taco. Wife had the New England which gets a 5 out of 10 rating. (plenty of clam & texture but lacking in flavors). I had the Manhattan, which turned out to be the he better choice, earning a 8 of 10. Grilled fish tacos unfortunately were also bland (good quality & presented nicely but again no flavors). In their defense we both agreed we would come back again and try something a bit more adventurous.“

“ok where to start my bill was about $ 250 for 2ppl and a $50 tip. i ordered a surf and turf in place filet i asked for NY strip. 2 rum n cokes gf got a salad I forget what else. I went out for a smoke half of my rubber tiny lobster tail like 6oz was still on my plate with some of my steak I came back the waiter took it away. like wtf it wasnt off to the side it was in front of my seat silverware still sitting there. I was overr charged. it seems I was charged for a NY STRIP AND A SURF AND TURF. I spend money like most breath oxygen but This was not cool I was so pissed I just wanted to leave since they took my food ruined the anniversary and birthday dinner for me. I did call and ask to speak with a manager and no one ever called me back. This is one place I will not be returning to. the food was ehh lobster tail OVERCOOKED to the point of rubber the taking of my plate with half of my food still on it the double charge. I've eaten at more expensive and less expensive places and it seems the lesser expensive have way better food where you spend $150-$200 for 2 ppl are way better. simple put save your money do not bother. and oh yes waited 20 to 25 mins for drinks thats the time from being asked to getting them...“

“Crazy. We were here YEARS ago. Driving back to Escondido from a day at the beach and the territory looked familiar. After a brief stop at Pizza Port Brezzi Ranch I checked old yelp reviews and found this place, just down the street 2 minutes. Ordered spicy tuna poke bowl and a po'boy...again. Great! And wonderful local craft beer selection. Deja Vous all over again. Fantastic for a cute little place like this maintaining consistency. Kudos!“

“My Boyfriend and I love this place. This time we tried Pizza and it didn't disappoint. It had tons of meat on it even filet mignon that melted in your mouth. That was a first for us. never have we had filet mignon on a pizza before.This is a gem of a place in the heart of the Village.Our Server Renaldo was excellent. We normally don't get dessert but we couldn't resist the limoncello cake. Yum!“

Juices so good the soak up with the garlic bread. Shared the special of swordfish, jumbo prawns, and artichokes over angel hair pasta with capers and mushrooms. What a fantastic taste treat. “We don’t get out much — the last time we ordered from here was during the pandemic! We dined here and were pretty impressed with the quality of food. At first, there was a bit of sticker shock, but we were very pleased with everything. The flavors were so rich and authentic …and the serving sizes were large! We had an early dinner. Service was welcoming and they even had live music. I’m actually shocked the ratings aren’t higher here. I definitely recommend!“

“Stopped by for lunch with friends when we were in Carlsbad. It is located a block away from the beach. It's a casual Mexican Spot with good food and drinks. My husband and I shared the Carlsbad Carne Asada Burrito, Wet, but couldn't decide between green or red salsa so the waiter recommended doing half and half. It was delicious! Everything I love all in a burrito! We also ordered Ernie's Caesar Salad and I expected an ordinary Caesar salad but this one was really good! The dressing was delicious and I think they had different cheese that made it flavorful! What a nice surprise. The staff is very friendly and attentive and we enjoyed this place!“

The view was spectacular (of the ocean), and everyone was super friendly. Our waiter was superb with lots of attention without bothering.
