“Our family of 5 went to celebrate my twins birthday. Our server Timmy was very kind and friendly. At the end of dinner he brought over separate desserts for each of my twins mentioning that they probably wouldn't want to share their dessert since they were already sharing their birthday as twins. That was very thoughtful of him! Overall had a great time celebrating . The service and food was good!“

“I first came here when this place opened 15+ years ago and we were regulars for a number of years. We moved away, but recently had the chance to come dine here again. It's just as good as I remember, very flavorful sauces and curries, fresh food and still same owners. Will be back when I am in town again!“

“Man, this place just keeps getting better!! The atmosphere is wonderful, the staff feel like your friends, and the food is the best! I’ve tried almost everything on the menu and it’s all delicious, the chile relleno holds a special place in my heart. No one makes a chile relleno as good as casa lupe! Their margaritas also a great addition, perfect after a long work week! Definition of a locals spot.“

“Food and service were outstanding. Although half the seating was vacant, the noise level of the music plus loud voices made it difficult to carry on a conversation over dinner. Perhaps the acoustics are poor, but it was a huge distraction to an otherwise excellent experience.“

“This is my second time visit. I like to support small local businesses. I like their wine tasting selection. I met the Owner at Los Altos fresh market. And the staff Sandra is really nice one to make new connections. Small and locally owner.“

“Pretty nice restaurant. Came right after playing beach volleyball and I was starving. The ambience was fine, but coming on a Sunday afternoon I expected it to be more busy. There also seemed to be a slightly strange smell, but it went away after a little while. Also a little drafty in the restaurant, so a sweater would not hurt. The service was par, not bad but also not special. Same with the burgers. A little too well done for my liking, but that really depends on personal opinion. Also pretty saucy but it did the job after volleyball. Overall nice restaurant but not worth going out of the way for.“

“We had such a lovely day at House Family Vineyards enjoying their wine flight. The views are absolutely stunning. The $30 flight included 5 wines (2 whites and 3 reds). I’m not usually a Pinot Noir or Zinfandel fan, but I really enjoyed theirs + the Cabernet Sauvignon was excellent. We paired our tasting with the Charcuterie and Cheese kit, which was delicious. Highly recommend visiting for the wine, the atmosphere, and the friendly staff!“

The portions were large and the food tasted great. Unlike the many subpar Thai places in the area, the flavor was just right by not being overly saucy and sweet and the noodle dishes had the perfect consistency.“

“This place has an incredible variety of Persian pastries, literally anything you can imagine. The pastries were delicious, and I loved that almost every kind was packed with plenty of pistachios. The ice cream was ok, though the saffron ice cream wasn't quite on par with what I’ve had at other places. It is generally overpriced. Also, I noticed a misspelled word in the logo ('Patisseire' instead of 'Patisserie'); I'm curious if they’ve ever noticed!“

“We had great experience at Florentine Trattoria. I had Crab and Shrimp pasta and it was the most delicious seafood pasta, I have ever had. I asked Alexandro: how your shrimps are so fresh. He smiled and said: Because they are fresh. Also pasta and bread were outstanding! Friendly fast service, good prices, elegant ambiance, delectable food make Florentine Trattoria one of the best restaurants in Bay Area!“

“I have known the Korean waitress since the E 3rd Avenue, San Mateo location days. Extremely friendly waitress. Food portion is always generous and decent quality. I have been to both locations but sadly, the San Mateo location doesn't exist anymore.“
