“There's a goal I have in mind, visit all of the wineries in Lodi and surrounding areas. Fields Family Wines came up next on the list tackle this goal.

The service here was beyond! From trying their various varietals to learning more about the wine, it's production, the clarity.

Troy served our tasting while we were there and trust me when I say you'll never find another person like Troy in any other winery. Along with teaching us about the wines and varietals, he was making us laugh the entire visit!

Fields Family Wines is boutique. They do everything in house and by hand. This is definitely a place you're going to want to add on your visit list.“

While other wineries in the area have events that require reservations and cost an arm and leg, peirano frequently holds pairing events with no charge but just reservations required. Understood and appreciated the reason for reservations only, as I did feel it gave a better experience. Wife could get her 5, I could get my 5, we could share a bit and compare. “Amazing wine I'm a industry insider in retail and I've tried thousands of different wines. this is one of the few flights that every single wine was spectacular. Service is phenomenal. And the area out side is super friendly to dogs.“

“I was very excited to come here owing to an upcoming trip to Portugal. The tasting room is nice and the shaded patio is even better. They serve an interesting selection of lesser known varietals in a very cool flight of mini-carafes. The wine quality is quite good, but difficult to compare to the more well know varietals of the area. It's a good spot for when you get tired of Zinfandel.“

“Beautiful grounds with a very welcoming atmosphere and staff. We had our wedding here and could not have asked for a better experience. The new barrel room was a great addition for accommodating large groups no matter the weather conditions.

“Tim was the best host. He welcomed us with the biggest smile and was interested in where we were from. Adam was very nice and took time to chat with us. The atmosphere was relaxing and the staff was knowledgeable/warm. The whole experience felt like we were just chilling in our living room and not drinking wine in a tasting room. Housley Winery is a must visit whenever you are in Napa. My friends from Trinidad and Tobago and I from Greenbrae, highly recommend It.“

“I cannot get enough positive praise for the wines here - super crisp French varietals with subtle flavors and clean palette. The Picpoul, when paired with fresh oyster, is equal to or better than much more expensive French import. The food pairings are incredible and always spot-on. Definitely must visit when you’re in Lodi.“

While they have a nice patio and tasting room and an interesting selection of wines, what really sets Peltier apart is their use of the Vinomatic dispensers. There are 6 stations with 4 wines each and the "taste" size pour is $3-$5 depending on the selection. Their tasting sheet has enough information to get you started and it's a very fun experience. Unlike other wineries, they do not comp your tasting if you buy bottles though. Be sure to try their Zante red sparkler and their USB port!“
