Now, let's talk about the Plátanos maduro - they were larger than the ones I usually find, which was a pleasant surprise! As a New York Rican from a family of great cooks, I can attest that this food is the real deal. Taínos L.A. has captured the essence of Puerto Rican cuisine with finesse. One thing to note is that Taínos L.A. is not a sit-down restaurant; they offer pickup or delivery only. But trust me, it's worth it. If you're in the mood for some seriously good Puerto Rican food, do yourself a favor and try the Mofongo with shrimp from Taínos L.A. You won't be disappointed!”

“I just went for a 2nd time last night (1st time was last year) and oh my gosh this place is awesome! not only is the food absolutely delicious and there's a huge variety of things you could get but the service is fantastic and the servers and owner- a young lady we met, are all so nice and helpful and considerate. Throw in the prices are so reasonable compared to many. I so wish there was one closer to my home over on the west side of L.A.,. but I'll just have to make the trip more often!”
