“Yesterday, I had an unforgettable lunch at Vincitore Restaurant in Agoura. The Italian food was exceptional, and the service was impeccable. The owner, Kamran, personally took our order, served our meal, and surprised us with a delicious tiramisu. It was the best dining experience I’ve ever had!

Last night, I topped the day off with a Door Dash order from Kamran’s other restaurant, “Spumoni,” in Newbury Park. I enjoyed the “Linguine Alle Vongole” pasta with fresh manilla clams, roasted garlic in white wine sauce. It was so good!

A fine selection of cheeses, meats antipasto in the deli-case, cookies to canned goods on the dried goods shelves, frozen tiramisu to lasagne in the freezer case. Busy, bustling, yet cozy and friendly. Love everything about our favorite deli!“

“What an incredible hidden gem! We were craving Italian food and decided to check out Al Italiano. Walked in on a Tuesday night a little before closing. Eddie and the owner Robert greeted us warmly. The menu has some great options and we were indecisive what to order. Our waiter Eddie is a first class professional and answered all our questions with patience and in details. His recommendations were amazing. We ordered Eggplant Parmesan, Veal Piccata, Children’s cheese pizza, Salumiere pizza and their homemade Tiramisu. Everything was excellent and so tasty. The whole experience at Al Italiano was outstanding and unforgettable. Robert is a great business owner who actually cares and treats you like family. His whole staff is very respectful and helpful. “We made a lunch reservation for a party of 9 on a Saturday for a birthday celebration. We were seated immediately at a large round table outside with a beautiful view of the lake. The service is fantastic. The wait staff is extremely friendly and attentive. Since it was a weekend we were able to order from either the lunch menu or brunch menu so there were tons of options. I had the grilled salmon which was cooked perfectly. My husband had the steak frites which he really liked. He said it was a nice tender cut of beef. Our group also had the chicken parmesan and some breakfast/brunch items which they all enjoyed. They have a very large outdoor seating area and it’s nice sitting outside with the lake. Very nice weekend brunch vibe. I was pleasantly surprised by the price point since most brunch spots can be way overpriced. They served their signature Baked Alaska as a free dessert for the birthday girl which was really cool since it’s served flambéd. I really enjoyed Boccaccio’s and will definitely be back to try their dinner items.“

Usually the salmon with vegetables and a side of pasta is a perfect combination and every bite is outstanding. The salmon was perfectly seared on the outside while remaining moist and tender inside, with just the right hint of seasoning and citrus. The vegetables were fresh, lightly sautéed, and had great texture—clearly not an afterthought. As for the pasta? Cooked al dente, rich in flavor, and coated with a savory sauce that hit all the right notes. Everything felt homemade, not mass-produced.

The atmosphere was relaxed and warm, with attentive service that made the meal even more enjoyable. This place is a hidden gem for Italian food lovers in Simi Valley, and I definitely love to be there to try more dishes.

“Had a great dinner at Ameci with a friend! We ordered the largest pepperoni & Canadian bacon pizza plus a cheeseburger with fries—everything was delicious. Took leftovers and some chocolate mousse home, and her family loved it too.

Shoutout to Max for making the experience even better. He was training a new team member, juggling delivery calls, helping customers, and still stayed calm, patient, and super kind the whole time. He puts in the level of effort that definitely deserves recognition and I hope is valued the way it should be!

“Food is always good here and service as well. I love the endless soup with their meals. Lunch time is a great bargain. Wish they'd have have the option of the sandwiches coming on Italian bread than just all on the bread sticks but they are still pretty good for the price. I go for the meatball sand because it's a cheaper bargain price and I thought it was much better tasting than the chicken sandwich which was about the same as you'd get at Burger King. My wife and I come to Olive Garden mostly when they have the GET ONE TAKE ONE HOME DEAL. Can't beat that. The only reason I don't give this place 5 stars is because all their chicken is not that good and is the same yuck kind you can get at any fast food joint. The meatballs are great. But then if you want to add them to you spaghetti dinner, they charge an extra $3 for 3 meatballs or sausage even. Then that makes spaghetti & meatballs come to about $16 and that is overpriced imo. On some visits the spaghetti sauce is caked with thick tomato slices in it and no other options because it's all made that day. Some days the sauce is more meaty and then the next visit tons of too much tomato slices and it's all watery. Also, being a bigger guy, almost every time we've been here, it's been a bit embarrassing being seated at booths that don't fit me and then having to move and I think the host or hostess should know better and know their tables. Otherwise this is a place we go to for lunch and only for dinner when they have the buy one take one home deal.“

But, when they left we really enjoyed the peace and quiet of the outdoor patio. You never believe you're sitting next to the very busy parking lot. Kevin was our waiter, again. He was very apologetic for the chaos and, as on previous occasions, very friendly and efficient. My friend wasn't hungry, so she only ate 1/2 of her 1/2 roasted beet salad. She did enjoy it and took the rest to go. I had my usual pasta with goat cheese and marinara sauce. I was hungry and ate my entire dish, whereas I normally take half to go. It was delicious, of course. Overall, we had a nice lunch and catch up. I'll be back.“

“I love the tranquility of sitting outside the service greeted me immediately and I couldn’t wait to order the fettuccine with chicken I understand this place is a little further up Scale in price but it’s worth every penny of it the seating is perfectly fenced off with glass windows but channels are nice breeze that gently cools you while you sit sipping whatever apéritif and enjoying the wonderful bread that is accompanied with a fantastic in-house spread. The fettuccine has larger noodles and you’ll be used to put the texture of the creamy wonderful sauce and the chicken fried so perfectly I blended pepper to give it the perfect aftertaste I literally would’ve eaten 20 pounds of this if I could but this is my special place to come every so often it is a Christmas and birthday gift to myself!“

“I have been going to Chi-Chi’s my whole life!! This would be since the early 70s! They have some of the best food in town! I absolutely love their salads, rolls and pasta! My favorites are their pesto sauce and their meatless sauce!! Everything is homemade! Their pizza is the best!!

Vegetarian options: They have meat free sauces for anything you ask! They have lots of salads! You can get veggie pizzas too! They have potatoes too.

Dietary restrictions: They have half portions, vegetarians options, fish or seafood options etc. They have gluten-free options also!

Parking: They have several handicap spaces and spaces for take out that they come out to your car to bring your order to you in the evenings!

Kid-friendliness: They are kid friendly!

Wheelchair accessibility: There is room for people with wheelchairs, walkers, canes and I have brought my service dog in there with no issues!“
