When I’m feeling spicy I’ll add in some of the chorizo with the carnitas, and it’s always a good time when I come here with friends and family. My cousins from out of town refuse to go to breakfast unless it’s this place!”

“I would like to leave a positive review for Modern Bread & Bagel. This is a wonderful place with a cozy atmosphere, delicious fresh food, and excellent drinks. I especially enjoyed the sandwich and the beverage — everything was prepared with care and attention to detail.

I would also like to recognize the staff. Everyone I interacted with was friendly, welcoming, and attentive. The ladies at the counter always greet customers with a smile, are happy to help with recommendations, and create a genuinely pleasant atmosphere. Their positive attitude and excellent customer service make people want to come back.

“I recently visited this Indian restaurant and was blown away by the flavors! The chicken tikka masala was rich, creamy, and perfectly spiced—easily one of the best I’ve ever had. The cheese naan was warm, soft, and oozing with cheesy goodness—perfect for dipping into the curry. Every bite was comforting and packed with flavor. “I arrived early on a Wednesday afternoon, around 4 pm, quite early for a 445 reservation. At about 415, as I was drooling over the menu, I observed a gentleman, exit the front door of the restaurant. He was wearing black pants and a white shirt. After glancing our way, probably wondering why we were so early, took a large napkin and gently coralled a fledgling bird. He tossed the napkin covering it and placed the bird back towards it's nest. The man came out again about 425, and proceeded to a black BMW. He pulled one of many freshly pressed shirts from the rear passenger seat of the car, and instantly he was freshly dressed in a dark blue shirt and a black vest.
I would later find out this was the owner.
We were early and seated. Matthew was our kind and generous server. The escargot was unreal. The risotto was a delicious cardiac episode waiting to happen, and the beef wellington, medium rare, was mouth watering. Washing everything down with a Sancerre, it was an outstanding experience. The owner was thanked and complimented on his beautiful restaurant, and I recommend this delightful place to everyone.”

“If you follow What’s Gaby Cooking, you know how exciting it is to have Neighborly and Gaby’s right here in Westlake Village. Everything is fresh, flavorful, and beautifully prepared. The salads, bowls, and sandwiches are all incredible.

They recently added catering, and as a local realtor, I love having this local gem cater my broker open houses. The salads and sandwiches are always a huge hit.

Such a great addition to the Westlake Village food scene and one of my favorite local spots.”
