“I've been buying pizza here for 13 years and continue to drive there from Oakland even after leaving Alameda 10 years ago. Tough to find a better pizza because it is always fresh, hot, fairly priced, and the crust is so good. I love the garlic chicken and garlic supreme the most. They don't skimp on toppings and the dough is just delicious. The guys are always super nice and if there was one in North Oakland I would probably eat there once a week so it's probably better that I have to drive out. Haha!“

“Can’t believe it took me so long to try this place!
I had the brisket and dino ribs, with slaw salad and potato salad on the side.
First of all, I would never in my life order potato salad—but this potato salad is so good I could eat it as a meal! (In fact, I actually had it for breakfast the next morning.)
The slaw salad was fresh and zesty. I loved the dressing, the peanuts, and of course the pineapple.
The brisket melts in your mouth, and the dino ribs were packed with flavor. Honestly, the meat was absolute perfection.
We got a burger to go (very kind lady at the counter!)
The seating is casual, which really matches the kind of food you just want to devour without a second thought.
I’ll definitely be coming back for more - forever!“

“Amazing kebabs for a great price! For $18 you get enough for two people with leftovers. We tried the chicken and the lamb and they were both amazing. The kebabs come with a large serving of delicious rice, a pita, a cooked tomato and a salad.

Takes about 20 minutes to come out and there is no seating inside, but it was completely worth the wait!“

“When I search for a burrito I’m looking for the biggest messiest flavor packed burrito I can find—Casa Maria’s birria burrito had me on the floor. I went back the next day for the shredded chicken and it was quality meat soaked in a delicious sauce. The spicy salsa was thick, spicy, and amazing. They do not skimp here. They are also friendly and clean. Impressed all around. Don’t hesitate, eat here.“

“The restaurant itself is not in the best location, and the interior and bathroom isn't the best. But we went in and were welcomed so warmly for dinner when the place wasn't busy. We got the chicken biryani, garlic naan, and chicken tikka masala. The biryani is one of the best I have ever had in the US and the garlic naan was perfect and fluffy but crispy. The chicken tikka masala was creamy, not overcooked, and well seasoned. The best Indian restaurant we went to in East Bay. Would come again.“

The food smelled amazing, and with the very first bites I was instantly reminded of the Halwa Puri from Burns Road I loved as a child. “Yesterday I had the pleasure of walking into this family owned establishment, The environment was clean, and the people were very kind. The menu was exceptional with great prices. I got the chicken Marcella, the naan, and the salmon which was the daily special. The chicken Masala was perfectly spiced. I got the mild because I can't eat spicy food. I dipped the naan in it and it tasted perfect. The naan was big and fresh and its own separate bag, so I was able to take it home and munch on it later now the salmon was delicious. It was super crispy and juicy on the inside, and the seasoning was complementary to the fish. it was wonderful to be able to talk to the Chef and get to know the people that cooked my food. The chef that's been working there. He's on the establishment for a while and he's been cooking for over 40 years. He also told me that he is from New York, which definitely shows in his food because this Indian Pakistani restaurant is definitely authentic. I will drive an hour and a half to come back here again. Definitely would recommend them for Catering or a nice dinner date.“

“Marcus and Leslie are Rockstars. I came in around 9pm on May 26th and I was immediately greeted by Leslie. She wore a neat uniform with her hair back. She's definitely a pro at what she does and she took my order and asked follow up questions. Later she gave me a sample of the fried cauliflower, because I was asking about it and it didnt not disappoint. Marcus, also in a neat uniform with long black hair, was very busy around the kitchen and dining room, cleaning, cooking, attending to guest. I requested him to take a picture of me with the decor and he obliged. Everything from the food, service and ambiance was perfect. It gave integrity and professionalism.“

“Noor is an absolute gem. The food is consistently exceptional - fresh, flavorful, and beautifully balanced. We’ve tried nearly everything on the menu (samosas, paneer rolls, chana, butter chicken, lamb rogan josh, paneer tikka masala, and more), and every dish has been a hit. We’ve gone back several times, and it’s been a guaranteed success every single visit.

Recently, we hosted a Diwali party for 30 people and asked Noor to cater..with only six days’ notice. Nity, the owner, personally called to plan the menu. She was patient, knowledgeable, and incredibly accommodating, offering thoughtful suggestions and adjustments without hesitation. Her quote was also refreshingly reasonable, and the entire process was seamless, truly one of the easiest party experiences I’ve had.

The food was the star of the evening, everyone raved about it. I couldn’t have asked for a better experience or a more reliable restaurant to partner with. Noor has earned a permanent spot on my go-to list, and I’ve already recommended them to others in our community (who’ve loved them just as much). We order from them regularly, and after this catering experience, I’m officially a lifelong fan.“

“Great food and great prices. You will have to wait but for the amount of food you’re getting, it’s a good deal. They also know how to season their food.
My favorites are the burgers, chicken tenders, and Philly Cheesesteak (with everything on it). And their fries are often fresh and crispy!

Ask for extra BBQ sauce, it’s made in house

“I ordered the Quoroti I haven't had Afghan food before and was thoroughly surprised by the taste of the yogurt. The softness of the bread and the spiciness of the hot sauce. The portions were very generous for $8 and 95 sense. There was so much left over. I couldn't even finish it. The customer service was great and was very Friendly. But not very many places to sit. Because it's part restaurant part convenience store. But they are one of the only restaurants that you can sit down at and have access to an electrical outlet.“

“I bought the oyster combo with DoorDash and I absolutely loved the deep fried oysters. The fried breading was very tasty and the oysters tasted like they were cooked just right.

I chose potato salad for the side, I liked it, however, I do not know if they make it fresh.

The combo also comes with a Shasta brand soda, but cola and lemon lime are the only offered flavors.

We had Mango lassi, pani puri , samosa, chicken Momo, Briyani, paneer lababda, muglai chicken, butter naan, butter chicken,jeera rice ,Chicken Briyani, tres lache cake and lal Mohan with ice cream .
