VJ’s also has a FULL COCKTAIL BAR! Great beer selection as well! The owner and his staff are all great. Come by and check out VJ’s! It’s next to the UPS Store at Marina Village.“

“I've been buying pizza here for 13 years and continue to drive there from Oakland even after leaving Alameda 10 years ago. Tough to find a better pizza because it is always fresh, hot, fairly priced, and the crust is so good. I love the garlic chicken and garlic supreme the most. They don't skimp on toppings and the dough is just delicious. The guys are always super nice and if there was one in North Oakland I would probably eat there once a week so it's probably better that I have to drive out. Haha!“

“Awesome place when u walk and sometimes they have different sounds when u walk in and the workers are very nice and friendly but the only thing that I had a issue with is the recent time i went there the food was a little over cooked and there wasn’t much flavor when me and mom bit into it but the drinks and every thing else was fine besides the food being over cooked and had no flavor to but i would go here again“

“Having lived in NYC for several years, my first reaction was to about a restaurant called “New York Pizza”. How good could it be? So after 30+ years, I finally fried it for the first time. And I was pleasantly surprised. Pizza was very tasty and one of the better ones I’ve had. The ambiance and customer service is nothing to rave about, but it was adequate. But the pizzaiolos at New York Pizza know what they are doing.“

“5-Star For Consistency across the entire Mountain Mike's brand in The Bay Area. As someone who grew up not liking pizza---MMP just does it for me. More importantly, I know what to expect whenever I visit an MMP. It's no guess work. I know the double Pepperoni's will excite me like it's the first time I've had pizza....but every single time. You cant argue with superb customer service and great pizza ...all under one roof. This isn't a kiss up to a brand, I just like what I like when I like it....with no excuses and with the same consistency. That's good old fashioned American ethics.
