“I come here a lot since it’s one of the few American-style bakeries in Alhambra. Their desserts are quite good, all baked in house, and at a good price point in a good location.

Only thing is I would recommend using a different type of packaging. I noticed time and time again that the cardboard taste permeates the food, and it’s even more exaggerated the longer the food stays in the container. The desserts are still good but I find the cardboard taste pretty distracting/unpleasant.“

“Really solid spot, especially with Savoy Kitchen just around the corner — this place makes the perfect dessert stop afterward. The only minor drawback is the limited seating, but other than that, the food is on point.

I’ve got a serious sweet tooth, and this place definitely hits the mark when I’m craving something sugary. Tons of good options to choose from!“

“Little pastry shop that famous for Taiwanese pastry. Especially the mung bean cake 綠豆椪 $4.25 per one. They have vegetarian or version go pork. I prefer the vegetarian version. They sell out quick. But you can always call in ahead of time to reserve it. They also sell bento, and dumpling. Overall please with the food and pastry.“

The owner is rather engaged and alert, trying to tend to all patrons’ needs and monitoring new staff to address customers properly. There is no pressure for a tip and the fussiness involved. Sure, appreciative patrons still could leave friendly gestures or pay it forward.“
