“Nice little cafe in Alhambra near Pasadena with a simple menu of sandwiches, croissants, coffee, and tea. The location is convenient in a lot of covered public parking. The service is quick and the staff are polite. The food is good for a cafe and a simple breakfast, lunch, or snack. If you're looking for a full complete meal then you will need to find a restaurant.“

“No frills, just perfect bread and fillings. The baguette crackles, the pickled veggies are crisp, and the grilled pork is marinated with a little sweetness. I always add a pandan waffle to go—still warm, slightly chewy. Parking in the small lot can be hectic, but turnover is quick. It’s a reliable lunch that never disappoints“

“Let me tell y’all something…
Tastea had no business sliding this hard.
My baby girl and I pulled up like we were taste testers for a five star lifestyle and let’s just say… we were not disappointed.
I got the Lychee Peaches — fruity, cute, and minding its business just like me.
My mini-me got the Caramel Craze — sweet, dramatic, loves attention… also just like me.
One sip and we looked at each other like:
“Ohhh so this is what elite feels like.”
No cap, the drinks ate, we left no crumbs, and the straws deserve an award.
Tastea… we’ll be back.
Mostly because now we emotionally depend on you.
10/10
Would sip again 💅✨

“We had such a satisfying meal at Wayang Restaurant Halal. Everything was flavorful, generously portioned, and clearly made with care.
The nasi kuning komplit was beautifully presented, with fragrant turmeric rice and a mix of sides that balanced each other well, especially the egg and perkedel, which stood out.
The sambal mercon absolutely lives up to its name: pedas, rich, and addicting. It woke up the palate without overpowering anything and paired perfectly with the rice.
The satay kambing was tender and juicy, with a nice bit of char and a savory-sweet peanut sauce that brought everything together.
The ayam nasi goreng felt like comfort food at its best, well-seasoned chicken and fried rice that had that nostalgic, homestyle flavor.
We’ll definitely be back to try more, this spot brings the warmth and depth of Indonesian food in every bite!“

“The food was perfect and the service was excellent! We don’t live close by. We were just visiting the San Gabriel Mission. However, whenever we go back to the area, we will definitely come back!“

“This 7 Leaves location is my favorite since it has a drive thru. However, it’s a bit small and sometimes the line could go out to the street depending on when you use it. I went around 5:30 pm on a weekday and that was the case. After waiting about 10 minutes, I was able to order and it was ready within a few minutes.
There was a seasonal drink, so I thought I gave it a try. I tried the Rio Rosa, which was strawberry with condensed milk. I got this with honey boba as well. It tasted refreshing since it was hot that day. But overall, I thought it was just okay. I wouldn’t get that specific drink again.
This location does accept American Express.“

“This Taiwanese bakery has such a wide selection of pastries, it’s impossible to choose just one. My top pick is the sea salt coffee—slightly sweet and perfectly balanced. I also love their taro buns and brioche. The prices are reasonable, considering the quality. Best to go early, because the popular items sell out fast“

“What truly sets this place apart is the incredible hospitality. The owners make us feel like family every time we visit, and their positive energy is contagious. The prices are very reasonable for the quality and portion sizes. We even drive a long way to get our food and drinks here, and it’s always worth the trip.“

“A coworker told me about this place for good priced breakfast sandwiches, and this is genuinely my new favorite donut/sandwich place. The man who works there is so kind and helpful. He knows exactly which donut I point at and will let me know the name for next time.
The tuna fish sandwich is so good! I’m extremely picky (it’s hard finding a good tuna fish) and this sandwich is everything. The smack it on a homemade croissant and I always add spouts, which he immediately said yes to when I asked.
I can’t not talk about their donuts however. They’re delicious!!!! Their bear claw is filled with cinnamon and apple filling, and when I say their glazed is extremely similar to Kristy Kremes, I mean, it’s spot-on but better. They’re lighter and fluffier.
I seriously love this place, the kindness of the workers/owner, and the food for the price is unbeatable. My new favorite place to stop for a quick lunch!!“

“So I made a small oops by ordering from the Alhambra store instead of Monterey Park. I had to make a quick trip to pick up in Alhambra. I was 20+ minutes after my pick up time but my drink was still icy, cold and delicious. I didn't think matcha and oatmilk would work so well together. That with the creme brulee in the frostie was such a treat. I'll definitely order this again and hopefully to the right location next time. You should too... if you enjoy matcha.
In my defense, Alhambra is the preferred store but had an errand closer to Monterey Park and my mind was on default 😬“

“After doing some research, I found that by day, they primarily serve pho and Vietnamese food (Pho Ever) and during the evening on select nights, they serve specialized drinks and Vietnamese finger foods (N' Beyond). Put that together and you get Pho Ever N' Beyond! So cute.Anyway, this location is a bit obscure. It's located right off the 10 Freeway by Garfield and Hellman next to Circle K. There's a small parking lot as well as street parking. Hours are still changing, so definitely check Yelp or call the restaurant to see if they're open. As of now, they're open Friday - Sunday from 7:30 - 11:30 PM.The first time I came, my friend and I didn't really know what to expect. The pho restaurant was closing and the workers seemed to be in the process of cleaning up the restaurant. Luckily they have a very cute outdoor patio (perfect for a date!) with tons of flowers and greenery. We ordered at the cashier and our drinks and food were brought out to us.I asked for recommendations and went with the Mango Macchiato ($7). Kind of regretted the decision, only because I'm not a big smoothie fan and this drink was pretty much like a blended smoothie/shake. There was sea salt cream and mango jelly - really tasted premium with loads of mango flavor. I personally just thought it was a little sweet. My parents loved it though and devoured the drink once I brought it home.My friend ordered the Black Goji Berry Tea with Lychee ($7) - one of the most pretty drinks! I didn't try it, but she really enjoyed it. Said she could taste the lychee and the goji berry. We also ordered the banh mi brisket ($6) and chicken egg roll ($6). I was surprised that the banh mi was an actual whole sandwich. Packed with ingredients and I really enjoyed the flavor of the brisket. As for the egg roll, crispy and tasty - we ate everything. So I had to return to get a drink that I would enjoy. I ended up trying the Citrus Sunrise ($7) - this came with orange juice, jasmine osmanthus tea, honey citron jam, and some rosemary. I think there was also some jelly bits as well. Really refreshing and light, perfect for a hot day.P.L.O ($7) - peach, lemongrass, orange, lemonade, and jelly. My sister requested for the drink to be sweeter because she was worried that the lemongrass would overpower the taste, but surprisingly the lemongrass was really subtle. The drink was actually a bit on the fragrant/light side, almost as if it was missing a little acid or citrus to blend it all together. I liked the addition of the chia seeds, but I definitely preferred the Citrus Sunrise. And we also were able to try the Ube Frostie ($7). Seriously, the tea places that make ube blended drinks can't compare because the ube here tasted so fresh and decadent, along with the blended components of the drink. Felt almost like an elevated ube milkshake but the word milkshake doesn't do this drink justice at all. Not too sweet - my parents thought this was the best drink out of the three. They currently have a grand opening promotion if you're able to snag a card for BOGO 50% off; they also have a Yelp promotion of 20% off if you order a minimum of $15. The workers who helped me were all super nice and helpful.I definitely am going to return to try as many drinks as I can. Feel reluctant to share this spot, but at the same time, I really hope they do well. They really put a ton of effort into not just the taste, but also the presentation. Will be back!“
