“Craving some udon while we were passing through the area so we decided to stop here for a quick early dinner on a weekend. It was quiet and service was quick.

Set up like a Chipotle and Subway. You order your main dish and you move along to customize it by adding tempuras (extra fee), vegetables (extra fee), green onions, or tempura flakes.

The udon soup base and noodles was good. The tempura batter on my shrimp tempuras was too thick and not light and flaky. I wanted to add vegetables to my udon and wish they were cooked first or cooked with my soup. Dumping uncooked vegetables into my soup just cooled everything down right away.

There was a lot of seating inside and on their large outdoor patio. The place was very clean.“

What really stood out was the exceptional customer service. The staff were attentive, friendly, and constantly checked to make sure we had everything we needed. They went above and beyond to make the dining experience enjoyable.

“We were seated outside which was lovely on a late August evening. The dumplings and tuna were fantastic appetizers. The miso cod was delicious. The steaks were served with a unique side of wasabi which paired really well for a very flavorful steak. We really enjoyed our meal and will be back for sure.“

Personally, I don’t think I’ll be back, as the pho didn’t quite justify the price for me. That said, their business model is nice and efficient, catering well to the busy lunch crowd. A cool concept, but not my go-to for pho in OC.“

“Super good westernized Chinese restaurant with lots options and good value. The Changs lettuce wraps are their most popular dish and definitely a must try. All of their dishes are packed with flavor and very delicious. The sushi rolls are on the smaller side so I would recommend skipping those and getting their main dishes. Beautiful interior with plenty of outdoor seating as well and friendly staff.“

“Super Bowl Express has been one of my go-to spots in San Clemente for years and after today I had to leave a review.

Not only is the food consistently amazing, but the people there genuinely care about their customers. Joo, the owner, is one of the kindest business owners I’ve met and went completely above and beyond for us today. Martha was also incredibly welcoming and took amazing care of us.

The spam musubi is hands down the best in town, the beef bowls are unreal, and the Korean ribs are always a must order. Everything is fresh, flavorful, and consistent every single time.

“I recently visited Mubong-ri Soondae-guk and decided to try their cheese tonkatsu instead of the usual soondae-guk, and I was pleasantly surprised by how satisfying the meal was. The breading on the pork cutlet was perfectly crispy, and once I cut into it, the generous amount of cheese inside melted out beautifully, adding a great visual appeal. The meat itself was tender and not chewy at all, making it a dish that anyone would enjoy, and the harmony with the provided sauce was excellent. Since it is a restaurant specializing in soondae-guk, I didn't have high expectations, but I was truly shocked by the high quality, which rivaled that of specialized tonkatsu restaurants. The savory flavor of the cheese filling the mouth was a real treat. If you are looking for a hearty and delicious meal, I highly recommend trying the cheese tonkatsu at Mubong-ri. I will definitely be coming back!“

Bonus, there’s a huge Tesla Charging Station on the other side of the strip mall.“

“Pretty good soup/noodles. Noodles were bouncy and good amount of chew. The broth was good and very comfy. Portion sizes were on the smaller side, but I left very satisfied. The liangpi was also really good. The chili sauce was the weakest part of the liangpi but still good overall.“

Either way, I am pleased! I went with their Waba Steak & Chicken Bowl along with 5 dumplings. My order was ready as promised within 15 minutes. The women at the customer service were quick and kind and they thanked me for coming in.
I've never tried dumplings before. I'd say these are pretty good. I'm not sure what kind of sauce they threw in, but it has a nice kick to it that brings a life to the dumplings with each bite.

Now as far as the bowl, wow, their Waba Sauce tastes like honey and teriyaki mixed together! It's so good topped over the steak and chicken and rice! The flavors all just mix so well.

I'd say, this is definitely a place, service and food I'd give a rating of 5/5. The food was so good and I'm thankful for the FREE dumplings and the blessing to try them out for the first time for FREE!“

“This place seriously just made my whole week. The food came out super fast and it was all so fresh and flavorful, I basically cleaned my plate without stopping. I got the mussaman curry and it had that perfect mix of sweet and savory with huge chunks of potato and tender chicken. My friend had the pad thai and they said it was the best theyve had in a while too. We just kept talking and eating way longer than we planned because no one wanted to leave. Recently, I decided to venture off my usual choice - Chow Mein - which I think is the best ever. Unfortunately, the new dish I ordered was subpar, I called the restaurant and spoke to a nice lady (I forgot her name unfortunately), she went above and beyond just replacing the meal. And I really appreciated it. Customer service like this is now rare - but she was so nice about it. “Probably the best poke we’ve ever had. Super fresh, high quality, melt in your mouth fish that even rivals poke selections on the Hawaiian islands. Good variety of toppings and generous portions; the large was hard for me to finish and I eat A LOT. We ordered 2 large half/half bowls and one small (no drinks) each bowl included an upcharge for premium toppings and the total cost was just over $60. Extremely delectable lunch meal; we would definitely eat here again.“

“Houston Location: We arrived at our reservation and waited 10 minutes for the hostess. Once seated, we were uninstructed on how to order. Sushi chefs explained the process. Our waiter arrived 10 minutes after, taking our drink order. The app arrived before the waters, followed by the drinks after we ordered and received the sushi. The manager noticed us looking for our waiter but was often in the corner on his phone or socializing with the hostess. The sushi chefs were also on their phones while making the sushi, which was unhealthy. Despite the germy seasoning, the food was amazing.“
