“The restaurant is located next door to the burnt down Bunny Museum. We arrived after walking from the Christmas Lane tree ceremony. I was surprised that the restaurant was empty for dinner but the owner was stating since the street was closed off nobody could get through in their cars. I ordered the Gyro sandwich and the lentil soup. The sandwich was big and it was more than enough food to fill me up. My other half stated the lentil soup was probably one of the best she has ever tasted. While we waited for our food the restaurant started getting packed with customers.“

“Highly commendable service and absolutely stunning set menu! we went here for dinner last night for our Halloween date night! Their wagyu cuts are 100% top-grade and not just random "wagyu" that are below the marks. We tried their A5 and M9 meats, not to mention their salmon carpaccio that is to die for. Their sides are absolutely delicious and smart, one great example is their fried pork buns that is like a spin on soup dumplings. To top it off, you get premium ice cream in the end. Their salad is so good with yuzu and smokey salt, plus you get a chili mix too. They serve the meats fast plus your tablet menu is in front of you so you don't have to keep calling the staff to refill. I give them 9 stars! 🌟 🐄 🥩“

“This is the best BBQ I’ve had in LA. Tried for the first time yesterday - had the brisket and ribs and both were fantastic. Brisket was incredibly tender and the ribs were as well. Mac and Cheese was rich and delicious, greens had a little bite which is a perfect contrast to the richness of everything else we had. Delicious BBQ sauce, enjoyed the sweet slightly more than the spicy but both were great. I can’t wait to come back and try more sides.

“We were travelling thru Glendale, and came across this place. Such a gem. Wife and I had a light lunch splitting a Greek salad & Pita, which was absolutely excellent. Fresh greens, top quality feta, olives, onions and tomatoes. And the dressing - Not sure exactly what it was, but it matched perfectly. Also, we able to bring our dog into the patio, and all had a wonderful alfresco meal. I didn't catch the gentleman's name, but he was the only employee, and was doing everything (order, chef, server, clean up), and he was spot on. Kudos“

“I went here for the first time on a Monday evening. The service was really good and on point on this day. Staff was always checking on us, always making sure our stove was clean or removing finished dishes. I got us the Deluxe meal. The spicy baby octopus was good. The gyōza dumplings and egg rolls were really good. They have sushi as well. Their menu can be accessed by QR code or you can ask for a physical menu.“

“Y'all... I can finally eat the greens!!! They make them with turkey instead of pork and I gobbled them things up. Almost went for more!
I got the chicken plate with 2 sides, mac and cheese and the greens. Comes with a slice of whole wheat bread. Chicken was a bit dry but the sauce helped it... until I ran out of the bbq sauce.
I got the hot and regular bbq sauces. The hot had a nice kick, very tangy. Both were sweet and thick. The cups weren't filled up all the way, which would probably be helpful. They were about half full and I had used both cups to dip the chicken, so halfway through eating the chicken, I was out of sauce. This is where the greens came in handy, to dip the chicken in the juices or eat the chicken with the greens to add some moisture.
Mac and cheese was good. Nice creamy cheesr sauce and soft noodles.
I will definitely go back, just know to order a few extra sides of bbq sauce!“

“I just had the most delicious Armenian BBQ and Ikebir, honestly, it blew me away! The flavors were so fresh and rich, everything was super clean and perfectly prepared. I’ve never tasted anything like it before. It was fast, authentic, and full of love. If you haven’t tried it yet, you’re seriously missing out!“

“Visited for my wife’s birthday and we had a lovely time! The servers were attentive and kind, and the food was delicious. We had provoletta as an appetizer, and shared gnocchis and Neapolitan chicken as our entree. Authentic, hearty Argentinian food! For our dessert (panqueques, also delicious) they brought out little candles to celebrate. We’ll be coming back!“

“Wow really tasty food.

I got the beef shwarma sandwich (sandwich on top). Really really good flavors, with a refreshing green sauce + pickled cauliflower + radish. Overall an extremely tasty bite.

My friend got the pork belly lavash wrap. I'm not a huge pork fan--and I could eat that all day.

We got the hummus as well. Fantatic and worked well with my sandwich.

Friendly staff that helped us determine what to order. Nice interior. Really nice bathroom.

“Absolutely delicious! I decided to try this place today and I'm immediately reviewing to get people to support this local gem. I had the tofu vegetable combo plate and it was tasty as hell. The tofu was soft, the veggies had the perfect bite, and the brown sauce was well seasoned. The entire dish was warm and light enough that I almost cleaned my plate despite it being so satisfying. I'm happy I was able to bring some home for later and will be going back regularly now!“

“When you want the best Crispy Chicken you've ever eaten, Top Restaurant is your answer. They have an extensive Asian menu with authentic home recipes. All items are made fresh, as you order. To work here, you must be a family member. They guard their recipes and preparation techniques carefully. “Rodney's ribs are the Truth. I moved to Pasadena recently. I've had Q at Dreamland in Alabama, 12 Bones in North Carolina, Franklin's in Austin, Corky's in Memphis and Hecky's in Chicago, and this is some of the most righteously smoked meat I've ever had. Thank you, Rodney.“

“There was such a long wait here on a Sunday night, but it was totally worth it. Little Skewer is my favorite place to get skewers. Once you step inside, you’ll understand why it takes forever to get a table - you won’t want to leave! The atmosphere of the restaurant seems specifically curated to create the perfect environment for eating and drinking. Beers were BOGO. Chinese wines were served in tea pots and dainty little saucers. Beneath the tavern lights, a lounge singer sweetly serenades the diners through the huge karaoke machine at the front of the store.

Service is mostly done yourself through an iPad. You place your own order through the system and workers bring the food out to you.

Meats such as beef and lamb skewers are ordered in batches of 10 and will most likely make up the bulk of your skewers, but there are many other types of additional skewers to choose from. An unexpected favorite for me was the king oyster mushroom skewers. I don’t even like mushrooms, but these king oyster mushrooms were irresistible. Biting into the springy flesh was so satisfying. The spicy, vibrant flavors and juiciness made my mouth water and crave more. The scallops, served in their shells with glass noodles, garlic, scallions, and chili paste, were addictive enough to pound back like shots. I also really liked the chicken skin skewers because the crispiness provided a nice contrast to the other dishes. And I liked the pineapple sausage so much that I ordered two.

“I love coming to T-Kebob! However, the last time I came here I noticed their prices have jumped and they no longer serve their lamb and beef skewers in orders of 10. This is my favorite spot for skewers though and their corn cheese is perfect! They've also switched brands for their Taiwanese sausage and it doesn't taste as good.“

“Super awesome to see, South El Monte has so much Asian foods and they are all delicious. A lot of people in South El Monte love Chinese, Vietnamese, and Japanese cultures and so the businesses in the area thrive. I also enjoy getting Korean BBQ meats in the South El Monte City or a nice hot meal at the Daikokuya Japanese Ramen place on Garvey. I noticed that a lot of people in Korean Town over in Los Angeles were starting to purchase up commercial real estate and launch businesses in South El Monte. In a recent merger and acquisition of a major grocery store business chain in South El Monte, it had become Korean owned as well and started to add many awesome products such as canned boba drinks. South El Monte is one of the most vibrant, diverse, and sweet pockets of hidden gem Asian foods in California and the San Gabriel Valley. When I go to school on the East Coast, I really miss it.“

“We are BBQ folks. We smoke our own and have traveled the country trying different spots. There is so much that goes into BBQ. For those of us who truly love it; it's an art form and science of cuts, color, bark, brine -- the whole deal. We've experienced much of the local (Southern California) flavor and have found a few spots that excel. We moved up to Pasadena recently and were Yelping to see if there was a BBQ spot up here that we could try. When we came upon Mission I was skeptical. It didn't make sense that a BBQ spot would do catering and weekend farmer's market stuff. The only way to see if the reviews were legit was to give it a shot. We found the location at the farmer's market tucked away and because we were late in the day, had to pick from the meats that were left. Ribs, brisket, mac & cheese -- and the two sauces they stocked (mild & spicy). Our order was bundled and we brought it home and launched into the meal. Brisket -- soft, moist, flavorful. Brisket is not easy to cook. It can get dry and -- sometimes greasy from the fat. This was none of that. It was excellent -- some of the best ever. 5/5!!! Ribs -- very good. Solid. My personal perfect-preference is ribs that are just a touch less moist -- but we are talking the difference between 98/100 or 94/100. They were solid. Great flavor. Mac & Cheese. Excellent. Texture, color, flavor, taste -- all outstanding. 5/5!!! Sauce. We had a cup of each of their offerings: spicy and mild. Each had a lovely smokey flavor. The spicy had a nice kick without blowing the back out of your throat. Again -- this is a little nitpicky, but we find the perfect sauce to be a touch less sticky. We've had great first meals and horrible second meals at certain spots and horrible first meals and great second meals. We like to try the food several times before writing reviews so we ordered again for another experience. This time we added baked beans, burnt ends, and smoked chicken to the meal. Second time was exactly as great as the first time. Everything was solid, solid, solid. Now -- the thing that gives Mission six-stars is the folks behind the food. These people are dedicated to making a contribution to the world through food as few are. They are kind, generous, dedicated -- truly amazing!!!! “Best beef Lula and pork iqibir I've had in LA so far. Service will remind you of your grumpy aunt back in the 90's, and it's cash only, but it's part of the experience and it's all worth it because of the food you get. Always makes me feel like I'm back in Yerevan of my youth.“

“Great atmosphere overall (more of a young dark ambient vibe), though the wait was long — over 40 minutes when I arrived around 8 p.m. on a Saturday. The Yelp online waitlist worked, but it felt a bit odd to use.

The food has a very distinct flavor profile — not exactly my taste, but my family really enjoyed the variety of dishes. Personally, I only liked the fried rice and tofu skewers. The food itself isn’t bad at all; it’s just got a very unique flavor style that may not suit everyone.

I liked the digital menu and ordering system — it’s convenient — but the food took quite a while to arrive after placing our order. The staff were kind and attentive, which I appreciated. Seating, however, was not very comfortable; the chairs were light and tended to shift even with small movements.“

“Came to Chinatown to look for a place to eat lunch. We ended up here and ordered 2 noodle dishes - beef chow fun and singapore noodles. The beef chow fun was delicious and spot on! The singapore noodles were good but the roast pork was a bit dry. I also thought the noodles lacked curry but my husband said it was fine. The portions were HUGE. We ended up taking the rest of the food home. For the price we paid, it was definitely worth it. Waitstaff was quick and courteous.“

“A very tasty Mongolian BBQ place, reasonably priced, good variety, and very good service in front of and behind the counter. Nothing fancy in decor, but clearly popular with the locals. The extras with the order (vs our MBBQ place back home) (egg rolls, won-tons, flatbread, orange slices) were a nice touch.
