“I just went to pick up lunch and was greeted by the owner (I think) and a very nice lady working the front. The first thing out of my mouth was “Wow!!! It looks awesome in here!!!” They sure stepped up their game and created a cool place to hang out. They did not skimp on the vibe one bit. The food was just as good! I got a Philly cheesesteak (steak was so tender) and my boss got a mushroom burger. We both were saying how tasty our lunches were and so happy we have a place by work that we will want to go and have good food! You have a A+ rating from the NDDI crew! Every time I order from them its always consistent. I always get a generous helping of salsa and huge bag of chips and they always throw in a few mystery salsa that are always good too. “First let me start by saying the food was good for the price. What I mean by that is that it was good food for a lunch special that cost below $9. At some restaurants you might say no wonder why the cost was so low because it’s not that great. But this was alright in my opinion.

I think we were their first customers for the day. It took about 10mins for the food to come. And when it came it served nice and hot. I noticed They got a lot of to go orders so at least we know the locals like this spot.

It was clean but the place could use a renovation or remodel as it looks old. A little paint, some wall decor and new furniture would liven up the place. But a whole in a wall space doesn’t scare us from trying food. My number 1 motto is “try anything once” and I will always stick with that.

They need some improvements. But overall, an okay experience.”

The crowd leans more toward a Hispanic community vibe, with mostly Spanish music playing. I’d say the age range is generally 30+.

Drinks are very affordable. My rum and Coke was around $6–$7, which is hard to beat.

The photos and videos are from Friday. Saturday was much busier, with a lively dance floor and a great atmosphere. The staff was friendly, and the owner even personally checked in on my wife and me to make sure we were enjoying the drinks and the vibe, which I appreciated.

It’s not my first choice for a nightclub, but it’s closer to home than heading out to Oakland, and we had an overall nice time. Would definitely consider coming back for a fun, low-key night out.”

“I stopped in yesterday after a really long day. I just needed to decompress and enjoy a beer without being bombarded by my beautiful child with a zillion questions. I've driven past what used to be higos place a thousand times. I was a little apprehensive but the second I walked in I was greeted by Andrea. She was friendly and welcoming the beer was cold and the cider crisp. We chatted for a while and her beautiful son came in and chatted a while. It wasn't super busy but man did I enjoy myself. I will definitely be coming back. I bought myself a sweater and it's the comfiest one I own now. Plus I'm supporting local! Definitely come down and enjoy a cold one.
