“It’s one of those places where you can’t go inside you have to order at the window.if it’s cold outside that is the down side you can’t enjoy your ice cream there. I ordered a turtle Sunday and my only complaint is it would of been nice to actually get a brownie in my Sunday since that’s what turtle Sunday’s are known for and it’s was pricey still with out one so yeah.The location is good though.“

“Penny ice cream is a great ice cream chain in the santa cruz area.
Definitely sample all their flavors before ordering.
The 3 scoops for $1 more seems like the best seal of them all if ur not full.
Their cone is super nice and crunchy.
We got their cranberry sorbet and verve coffee which was a great individually. Nice and crunchy coffee flavor with chocolate chips. The sorbet was not too sweet which made it a nice flavor for the holidays.
Parking might be hard outside but easy in the nearby area
Definitely recommend for anyone in the area!“

“I love this cute little spot. I can’t believe I didn’t step foot in here til recently!!! I’ve been in several times now and the staff is always friendly, I’ve never had a hard time getting a parking spot, the place is kept sparkling CLEAN, and I can’t resist the $5 Tuesday and Friday.
My one request? Warm peanut butter sauce! Otherwise, the carry all my favorite toppings: coconut, cheesecake, mochi, graham crackers crumbs, and euro tart yogurt!
Worth stopping in!!! And of course, it’s great to support local :)“

“the legends were true. They are one of the best chocolate ice cream bars I’ve tasted. Rich chocolate and a lot thicker than the chocolate on Häagen-Dazs bars. The vanilla ice cream is also very rich. Chocolates can be expensive and you can easily spend over $50 for a sample box. It’s great as gifts. Got lots of parking in the back.“

“the owner is very kind, and always has a smile on her face. The place is very clean ,and a great view in the main downtown plaza. It's a great place to hang out anytime of the day. My favorite ice cream is bubble gum on a waffle cone. I also recommend the milkshakes, and juice drinks.“
“Chocolate Dipped Sandae (7$)The "Chocolate Dipped Sandae" that has ice cream between two crackers is a good try. It costs 7.09$ and you can choose between "Almonds" or "Peanuts" in the Sandae. We chose Almonds and liked it.“

“I actually have good judgement and taste and love to go around actually giving good reviews on establishments that deserve a good review . When I had tasted the Oreo flavor , i was able to distinguish the exact taste that Michoacana , the streets, vendor ice cream that I have tasted as a child only . I knew instantly I had to get myself some . Only saddens my heart to say that I’ll only be able to enjoy that exact flavor only when I visit Santa Cruz but most definitely will stop by here every time before leaving . I am writing this review after my birthday & I still can’t stop thinking about that rich flavor that brought a little bit of home from Mexico to my mouth . The gentleman was very nice and very sweet. Go support this amazing place because the ice cream is no doubt will worth a tasty snack . The 5 stars doesn’t not deny on this one .“
