“This is on the second floor of the mall close to Nordstrom and past Din Tai Fung. My friend and I came here bc we heard good things about this place. I got the Chicken Noodle Soup with Crispy Hainan Chicken. Honestly, I didn’t think it was anything special. The broth and noodles tasted like something I could get at a cheap Chinese diner. The chicken was pretty good though. There was a generous serving with the chicken. The skin was crunchy and crispy, and perfectly cooked. The meat was juicy.Parking: It’s inside the Santa Anita mall so there’s lots of available parking.“
“COVID-19: Social distancing is not enforced at this establishment. Some of the staff wears a mask. All customers are not expected to wear a mask. It's optional now. Some of the staff also wears gloves. There are some hand sanitizers available for customers to use. This place is available for take outs and has some indoor seating available with no limited capacity. They are not sanitizing in between customers. COVID-19 Vaccination Proof: This establishment currently does not require proof of vaccination. While I was grabbing my food from this establishment several days ago, I asked if they had any special offers and they weren't offering any at the moment. They currently don't have happy hour. They also do not allow pets in their establishment UNLESS it's a service animal. Parking: The parking lot for this establishment is decent. The lot is located in the back of the building. Lots of parking spots for you to choose from. Take your pick. The spots are also not too shabby too. Not too big nor too small. Food: I ordered the popcorn chicken. It features bite-sized white meat chicken nuggets with a seasoned, extra crispy breading. The chicken had a relatively thick coat of batter on each piece, but it wasn't very crispy and I definitely wouldn't call it "extra crispy." I did notice that the chicken-less batter pieces were the crunchiest, but the bigger pieces tended to be mostly soft. Taste wise, it was bomb. Lots of spices and flavors from each popcorn chicken. Staff: The staff here are very kind, friendly, fast, efficient, and welcoming. They accept both cash and credit cards. There is no credit card minimum.“

“A little pricey for what you get. Dude at the cashier is not friendly what so ever. After I paid for my to go order, the receipt printed out and he was standing there waiting for me to add a tip. Personally, if you want a tip, be polite and friendly. And I believe tips should be given if the service is great or if someone eats in and they have to clean up after them. “This place is pretty good as far as hot chicken goes. It's not the best but it's decent, I've ordered from here plenty of times. But Rays is still at the top. They don't really have much of a space for sitting in and dining. So if you want to eat you need to go down one of the nearby alleyways and sit at the tables there.“
“My experience at Dave's hot chicken was good. The staff are extremely friendly and social and the atmosphere is warm and exiting with amazing outdoor seating. Me and my peer got a soft drink, fries, tenders, and a chicken slider all of them extra spicy. Extra spicy is like a 7/10 for me (my spice tolerance is kinda mid but better than the average). The fries and chicken were crunchy but the food is quite greasy. Chicken is heavily seasoned. We went finished the food at around 1 pm and our stomachs started hurting. Its 10:35 PM right now and my stomach still hurted. Both had an irritated stomachand I had to take medicine for the pain to go away. Overall, would reccomend to people that can take the spice and are enjoyers of heavily seasoned and greasy foods. However, people who cannot tolerate spice, grease, and HEAAAVILY seasons foods should not come here. Praying for anyone who's stomach gets upset by this chicken ????“
“delicious chicken hainan rice!I honestly prefer it to Savoy, as the lines are not out the door and the chicken portions here are consistent and huge!! I have tried the regular chicken and the fried version. Both are excellent. It is more of an order to go spot, but there are a few dining tables inside. The parking here is a small lot, but it is rarely full. There is also no bathroom for patrons =( The service is fast.“
