The place was very clean, and the size of the restaurant felt just right—not too big and not too small. Even though the location was busy with customers, the staff still managed everything well and the place did not feel neglected.

I ordered online for takeout, and my order was ready as soon as I arrived, which made the process very smooth and convenient. I didn’t have to stay long at all.

And of course, Chickenjoy is still the best fried chicken—crispy on the outside, juicy on the inside, and always delicious.

“This chicken is delicious! I lived in Long Beach for over 12 years and on the day I was moving out of Long Beach we went and got some. I wish I had found this place sooner!!! “Our party of 20 came in on Christmas Eve and they were able to accommodate us. The food was definitely made with love. Sushi, bento box and ramen was phenomenal!! It had a weird taste from a seasoning that we're not familiar with. We tried adding sauces and salt, but we couldn't eat much of it. Unless your familiar with it, know it tastes different from the regular fried chicken from other places.“

We ordered the chicken skins, hush puppies and the #1 with light meat (breast and a wing with potato wedges and a roll). The hush puppies were so flavorful, no need for a dipping sauce. The chicken skins were huge and also very flavorful. I finally got to my chicken because it was so hot, I'm not sure because I had the other stuff, but the chicken wasn't as flavorful as the other stuff I had. “I got the double smash burger with jalapeños added, which is a great tip because you get the freshness and the heat but also that way you get the grilled onions and pickle.
This place is my new favorite place to get a Smashburger from( give it a full 10/10.
The burger was super flavorful !!!
The guy manning the business in the mourning was personable and had great customer service skills. The burger had a lot of flavor great ratios of meat, cheese, onions, and bread wasn’t too bready. The fries are solid lightly seasoned. I personally like a little more but you can always add more but can’t take it off so I get it. I’m going to come back and try the chicken, can’t wait.
