“Found this place by accident and I am glad I did. This was not only a great burger but it was full of flavors I wouldn’t have never combined. You have to give it a shot. If you are a sauce person, this is a must! The owner allowed me to try the different sauces before recommending a burger. Best service I have received in a long time.Vegetarian options: They have plenty of optionsDietary restrictions: They have many options for you to get what you want and need.Kid-friendliness: Family oriented“
“My partner and I had Billy Roy's for the first time last night, and while the DELICIOUS food would warrant a 5 star review on it's own, I'm also here to celebrate the exceptional customer service! We ordered takeout, a couple of burgers ("The Billy Roy", "The Haystack"), zucchini and cajun fries, and a couple of desserts. When my partner returned to our hotel room with our food, he realized the desserts and a drink were accidentally forgotten, and they would be closing before we could get back. There was no phone number to call, so I reached out on Instagram, and to my delight, the wonderful Pricilla was so prompt to reply and offer a refund or re-do -- no additional hassle. (Thank you, again!)That aside, the burger and fry sets were massive and mouthwateringly delicious. Not a single bite was wasted and, while we are only in town occasionally, we will absolutely be back! Could not recommend this place enough: exceptional food; exceptional service; what more could you ask for?“
“Finally got to try this spot! It was definitely worth the drive from the South Bay. DareDevil Dogs is a nice quaint spot. You can tell it's good because there were tons of locals. The ambience is energetically loud, but not overwhelming at all. There are a few tables and seats at the bar as well as along the front windows. For the food, I literally wanted to try EVERYTHING, but I used self restraint and just ordered more than enough. My wife and I ordered...1) inferno bites - their version of lumpia. Good flavor and a little hint of heat. Nice crunch!2) Stooopid fries - the name pretty much sums up the fries: crazy, mad, and stooopid food! Great balance and plenty of toppings.3) Texas Joe - a play on a sloppy Joe. I must say, it's the best sloppy Joe I've ever had! Their chili has a good kick of heat, so beware. 4) Smash burger with spicy policy - one of our faves! So damn juicy and tasty! We couldn't stop by without having a few drinks. I settled for the beer flight. I really enjoyed the Mango-Strawberry seltzer as well! Beer was ice cold! For service, welp, the manager (Rob) is amazing. He was attentive and knowledgeable on his craft! Thanks Rob!We'll definitely be back!“
“The restaurant is like my other home. I eathere, nearly twice or thrice a week. The food is so yammy. Cleanliness and the general outlook of the restaurant is outstanding. The best employees ever, serving every customer with smile and hospitality. The entertainment is also superb, as both TV's plays sports n music simultaneously.A great place to have any meal of the day, either alone or with family.Vegetarian options: Vegie burger an option with friesParking: GoodKid-friendliness: Friendly staff with ice cream on hand and pastries for kidsWheelchair accessibility: Great space for movement“
“Just a solid burger. I had their basic burger and a chocolate shake. Both were delightful. The shake was rich and perfectly thick. The burger was juicy and decadent, and their pickle-jalapeno sauce mix complemented the beef perfectly. The cashier was friendly, and my order was out before I even had time to go to the bathroom. I'll definitely be making myself a regular here whenever I drive out to Danville.Vegetarian options: Lots of impossible meat options for their usual burger fare. There is also Mac and cheese available, and a couple types of vegetarian grilled cheeses.“
“I liked coming and eating at Classic Diner in Fremont this time I order a cheese burger and fries the waitress didn't inform me there was a extra charge for grilled onions I'm thinking the burger would come with everything I just wanted my onions grilled most places dont charge extra for grilled onions I was kinda disappointed with answer the waitress gave me?“
“Literally one of the best pizza places I’ve ever tried. Wide variety of selection of food, not just pizza. They have pastas, salads, fries, wings, etc. The food is delicious and the service is top-notch. Couldn’t recommend it more. Met the owner my first time there, and whenever I’m in the area it’s a must for me to get food, whether I’m dining in or taking it to go.“
“Catered for my daughters first birthday, everyone absolutely loved it! Pizza is fresh and the dough is sooo good! We ordered 25 boxes of Pizza and had it delivered to Pleasonton.I would recommend Rayos to anyone who is planning pizza for a party. They worked with us to create a menu and were super helpful!“
“After being told it’d be over an hour wait at Brenda’s with no reservation, my friend and I decided to walk cross the street and give this place a try, and let me tell ya, it’s definitely Brenda’s a run for their money. We were sat right away. I enjoyed the charm and service. I like that you can tell it’s been at this location for a long time. The catfish and grits were delicious. Great seasonal pancakes. Good coffee. Will definitely recommend and be back when visiting!“
“A reliable in n’ out experience. Good service, quick turn around, reasonable price for fast food. Everyone who helped us was very nice. The burgers at in n’ out are a bit overhyped compared to some other burger places, as are the shakes. So if you’re looking for a good tasting burger, this might not be your jam.“
“We tried their brunch menu and was not disappointed. We ordered from the most friendly staff at the window the Andouille Shrimp and Grits which had creamy cheddar grits, the breakfast sandwich with home style fried potatoes, Banana Bread Louise which is banana bread french toast with Bananas Foster topping and a Grains in Purgatory bowl which had farrow. Roasted vegetables and two sunny side up eggs topped with chili crisp. I was pleasantly surprised by how flavorful the Grains in Purgatory was considering it was mostly vegetarian except for the eggs. It has the right amount of spice and the farrow had a nice bite. The breakfast sandwich had scrambled egg and thickly sliced bacon and arugula, the home fries that came on the side were perfectly seasoned and crispy. Those potatoes were the bomb! The gravy on the shrimp and grits was a little too salty for me but those creamy cheddar grits were so rich and smooth. Get the Banana Bread Louise to share for dessert! It's amazing! I look forward to trying items on their lunch menu especially the jerk salmon“
“Great spot for beer and good food (sandwiches and burgers mainly). I've never had a problem with the food service, but when the bar gets packed (for example, on Trivia Night) it is usually just one bartender behind the bar to get people's drinks. Could be faster. Still, one of my favorite pubs in town.“
“You know that saying..."sometimes, the thing you're looking for is right in front of you"..?I have been searching for the "perfect" breakfast burrito forever.I finally found it...walking distance from my house. LolBacon, egg, cheese with avo. I had mine w/o potatoes. Side of salsa.Large enough to split.“
“wild ginger just is a solid spot to eat at. the length and texture of the hand pulled noodles are so satisfying to eat, and the place is pretty small so you can hear the loud smacking sounds of the chef making the noodles in the kitchen! so cool!!!my friends and I actually got a cold noodle dish on the house when we visited for dinner :) they are just so kind like that!the spicy dishes are actually not really that spicy which doesn't hit the spot for me exactly but still super enjoyable. i remember when they first opened like 6+ years ago, it was pretty spicy for me so either my spice tolerance has really gone up (it definitely has over the years), they toned down the spice for the customers, or both. either way, each time I come I leave full and satisfied!“
“I have been passing by this place for a few months and kept saying to myself that I would stop in and try it out. Finally, I had some extra time on my way home, so I stopped in and ordered some food. Very old fashioned establishment that reminded me of a Foster's Freeze. They have plenty of options for food and desserts. I went with the quarter pound bacon cheeseburger and spicy fries. The food came out piping hot and delicious! The price was a little more than I was expecting as the burger, fries, and a drink ran me about $20! I should've grabbed pics of the menu since most of the featured ones are pretty old. I saw a few people eating these ice cream cones that had a mountain of soft serve coming out the top! Definitely need to try one next time. The burger and toppings were super fresh and well cooked. I would've liked my bun toasted a little more. The bacon had a great texture and tasted amazing, not that floppy, thin, tasteless stuff that some burger joints use. The spicy fries were potato wedges with a sort of cajun seasoning that gave them a very slight spice. They were crispy but also pillowy and delicious!Plenty of parking behind the restaurant. I will definitely be back again, but more so as a treat to myself.“
“My partner and I dropped in at project burger one night when we were craving a good burger. The owner was very welcoming and quickly took our order, he was also cooking and serving the food all by himself which I thought was very impressive. I ordered the classic grass fed burger and my partner tried the mixed burger with lamb and beef. The burgers were so big, I had to give the rest of mine to my partner. The buns were thick enough not to fall apart while eating the burger and they had a nice crunch to them. My favorite part was the sauce that came with the burgers it was so yummy! We also ordered a basket of fries to share and the portion was very large for those as well. I feel like we definitely got our money's worth and left feeling very full. We will definitely be coming back very soon!“
“As always excellent their Fries have even gotten better. Now they just need an inhouse taste tester for the correct Foundation Drink Syrup to Soda Ratio for the correct mix. The DP was a tad weak and way under carbonated.Wheelchair accessibility: Well, they have access for wheel chairs etc. So, it's a no brainer. In fact if you have handicapped friends go with them as parking is insufficient.“
“Excellent place to eat brunch. On Sundays it gets very busy, it's first come, first serve and they don't take reservations, so be patient because the food is worth it. Many times it is much faster to order at the bar if you do not want to wait for a table. The food is very tasty and varied. The attention of all the staff is correct and careful. Our waiter Melvin advised us about the food and gave us all the necessary instructions to make the best order. In addition to the food, they have draft beer, cider and something that caught my attention and comes out a lot are the mimosas. Definitely a place to return to again and again.“
“I'm not sure what happened but these burgers went from good to below mediocre looking almost boiled a year ago to absolutely fantastic! One of the best burgers of my life! They now have a nice char on the outside and so juicy in the middle! Oh my goodness! Please keep up the great work!“
“Hands down the greatest burger I have ever had. Service was quick. Food was fresh. The woman working was so wholesome and caring. Absolutely lovely establishment. Been in Fremont for almost a week and this was the BEST meal I had. Would give 10 stars if I could!“
“I think that may have been the best burger I’ve ever had. Didn’t need to add or subtract anything to or from it. Good job! And, we were brought and ate our burgers at the bar next door with a drink. Perfect burger, perfect garlic fries!, perfect bar, perfect staff. Thank you.“
“i’ve been here twice both for their French toast platter that I’ve gotten via takeout. Even with me traveling with the food whenever I get home with it it’s still delicious. Their French toast is so fluffy and they give you three pieces. They’re also cheaper than the place that’s right next door and uses regular bread for their French toast. The coffee felt a little overpriced. I get a bigger, tastier cups from Peets for the same price and a bigger and tastier cup for less at Arizmendis“
“Great food plus they're great with substitutions plus nice sized portions. Love back patio plus lots of greenery. Nice atmosphere. Staff is great as well.Dietary restrictions: Very good with dietary restrictionsKid-friendliness: Good with kidsWheelchair accessibility: Yes, definitely“
“Not bad, but also a bit ‘plain Jane.’ Wanted a simple scramble and wasn’t expecting a giant layer of cheap processed cheese coating the top of my meal (seriously like a Chicago style deep dish pizza). I’d order the chorizo again tho, just without cheddar.Food came out super fast. Both waitresses seemed super attentive. Ty for having me and cheers.“
“This is a takeout place offering 'Gourmet burgers'. I found the burgers to be, well, OK. A step up from the normal big name fast foods but nothing out of the ordinary. Gourmet, is not the word that came to mind, however, the veggies were fresh and the burger was cooked to specification. The fries were good. Took a bit to get the order. My uncle got a burger and a hot dog. Same reaction to the burger but said the Hot Dog was really great. All in all, for two meals we paid about 40 bucks, that's about average, maybe high average, for two.“
“I ordered the most amazing Pesto Veggie Benedict. It was outstanding! My husband ordered the chicken fried steak and eggs. The steak was the size of a salad plate... way too much for one person to eat. I'll definitely order the Benedict again, but he won't order the steak. We weren't impressed with their choice of music. Thus, they only get 2 stars for atmosphere.“
“Friendly, attentive service. Perfect fish and chips, (crunchy batter, soft, moist fish, un-soggy fries), paired great with a double IPA. Cobb salad was loaded, and very fresh. Iron Horse Trail proximity gives biking and walking options, but there's plenty of off-street car parking.“
“Now I'm here for another review and no it's not about the food it's self. This review is about the owner Moe , when i say he takes the time out to read our reviews and take in his customers feedback he truly does. His service as person is 40/40 he is real respectful hears you out and also he does all the cooking himself, if you don't like the food or location fine but I bet my last dollar if you had an encounter with Moe then you understand when I say his vibes are totally honest“
“I used to eat here all the time when I was a kid and I remembered it as a great place for a good burger. I’ve heard this place changed ownership and wanted to see if it’s still good as I remember. I got the Double Bulky Bacon Cheeseburger, with Fries and a butterscotch milkshake. I have to say the burger did not let me down. It was a pretty good size burger the meat was still juicy inside and it was a bit messy with their burger sauce but it added good flavor. It had shredded lettuce, tomato, and pickles as well. The fries were shoestring that was lightly seasoned with salt and they were still a little soft not too crispy which I like with those fries. If you like them crispy ask for them to be well done. The butterscotch milkshake was nice and thick, just wish it had more butterscotch flavor. Overall I really enjoyed everything and as far as price wise with all the price hikes everywhere else, it’s still a good deal for its price.“
“This place has been here basically forever since I first lived in San Leandro and the food has always been consistently tasty and fresh. Run by a cute Korean mom and pop couple, the value for a quick lunch is solid. Yes, post pandemic inflation has caused prices to increase but you get what you pay for. Hoagy steak has been a staple for me as an SL local and I would recommend it for anyone who is looking for a regular lunch take out place.“
“This is kind of a biased review because every time I come to In-N-Out I only get fries drinks and a milkshake and this time I waited less than 5 minutes to get my food because I got two fry only, and because it's midday even though it's not crowded, the line is moving very consistently, probably the best time to come.Vegetarian options: Can't say much more of that. You can get a veggie wrap?“
“Very attentive and friendly and helpful, my first time and I loved it, the burgers are a delight, order it to your liking ? and the potatoes ? you can order them to your liking and the coffee ☕️ delicious ? and the place is beautiful ? and it is not High price, worth going, the place is very beautiful ? everything in the style of the town.First God if I come back.Parking: There is parking on the street and it is not difficult, it is fast and it is not dangerous.Wheelchair accessibility: It has its own entrance and without risks with enough space and comfortable to get into wheelchairs ? , good order“
“MUST try!!! Nice & cozy vibe kind of place. We are not local, just stopped by for a dinner after hiking at Reinhardt Redwood Park. A lot of customers here so for sure not just me that thinking the food here is delicious ? Their burgers, grilled cheese and curly fries are bomb!!! Highly recommended!!!Parking: Convenient“
“Straight forward hamburger joint with a flare. I love the skinny fries and milkshakes. You will leave absolutely stuffed. Enjoy ?Parking: There is free parking available next to the Trader Joe's but there will be a nice walk to the location.“
“Been eating here since I was a kid. I can remember being served by Jerry himself for yrs.. He is no longer with us, but his burger stand is still going strong. If you're in the bay, this should be a visit for your burger needs. Try the banana shake. That's my “
“These burgers were awesome! Nice big juicy patties and the freshest veggies! Great atmosphere and the ladies that served us were absolutely marvelous! This is a must go! If you want a real burger, fries, onion rings this is the place. My wife and I found it by accident and decided to give it a whirl! Glad we did! I will go back the next time I am in the Oakland area!“
“The Diggery Inn is great. I love this breakfast and lunch spot. I have been coming here for 18 years. I always get one of their hearty scramble plates when I come for breakfast. They have great burgers here too. The meals are all good sized portions. There is indoor and outdoor seating. It’s a family owned restaurant with Paula on the grill and Nary out front waiting on customers. They are great people and very friendly. I Highly recommend the Diggery Inn.“
“You already know I do love my hole-in-the-wall food joints. This is a very quaint little place, hidden in broad daylight. ("hidden", as in if you don't know it's there, you'll breeze right by it.) They weren't busy at 4ish in the afternoon, and "Mom and Pop" were right there to greet me. I ordered the bacon cheeseburger. Very, very flavorful and charbroiled, as advertised. Generous portion of hot, perfectly crispy fries. The drink selection could be a little better, but I get it: very small outfit where, I would guess, the profit margin isn't real big. No problem, there. All in all, I would highly recommend it if you're looking for good, well-prepared and very flavorful food, WITH generous portions!! You won't be disappointed. I know I'll be back to try out menu items.“
“Ask for Maria or Alex they are amazing!! This is our second time coming here and this is now our go to brunch place. Their mimosas are delicious and strong (buzz buzz), their customer service is always polite and attentive and it’s very welcoming. Even being here on a holiday a lot of other places the workers would act like it’s an inconvenience to be working, The Servers and Cooks have never given us this unwelcoming experience. The first time we came a month ago it was PACKED lines out the door and we were still seated VERY quickly and honestly… Maria if you see this you’re the best and a genuine gemAnd I hope she’s being paid enough for the amazing experience she brings!!“
“New Ownership does not subtract food flavor which to my taste buds are (still) in good standing with what I was used to growing up in this area with a lil' som'thin' Fresh thrown in ✨?? Just yesterday Sunday I ordered a Cheese steak, that was No Mistake ?? My Sandwich was (is) a Winner ???“
“I lived in the East Bay for 20 years. I would go to Val's early on Sat for breakfast when I would either have a Denver Omelet or steak & eggs. If I were taking a long day trip it would be the steak since that would last until I got home. When I would walk in the lady at the counter would ask "Denver or steak?" Sometimes I would have a chocolate shake for breakfast since their shakes are, or were excellent. I moved away from the area around 20 years ago, I've always compare every place to Val's & none came close.“
“It's decorated like a diner. Seating is really spaced out since covid. The place is clean and the service is good. Delicious burgers. They have regular and sweet potato fries!. Simple lunch spot. A bit pricey but for a good burger it will be. Bacon cheeseburger, sweet potato fries and a soda...$25. Not a price I can spend often.“
“Newer restaurant - very clean - and food quality is excellent - just as at any other Habit. Went around noon for lunch. Ordered at the self pay kiosk - the one nearest to the traditional cashiers wouldn't accept credit cards. We tried three different ones and non worked. I have a feeling the previous person couldn't get payment to work as there was a bunch of food in the 'cart' that I had to delete all one by one. We went to the other kiosk - one of the two next to each other and that one worked fine. I like these burgers very much. Somehow of all the 'better burger' options that are so popular now - this is my favorite. Has something to do with the ambiance and drink choices and side choices I think. Abundant drink choices all very good - and many non cola options. Teas and lemonades all very tasty. I usually try a bunch of different ones filling up only half way each time. Side choices vary between restaurants. Some have more of the unusual sides - some have less. For this trip ordered plain fries and didn't explore what else was available. Fries for the record were perfect. Burger was perfect as well. They do them without corner cutting. I've tried almost everything on the menu and nothing is less than perfect. Ambiance is very nice. Big surf themed photos and paintings. All restaurants have this but the decor varies slightly from place to place. Here there was a big picture that spanned much of the one large wall. The location offers outdoor seating and I noticed one group with masks on chose to eat outside. So if your hyper aware of germs still there is comfortable seating next to the parking lot. I personally come to this shopping center often and never had any problems. Am glad to have this restaurant here now.“
“Brand new burger spot in the new apartment complex on FootHill just outside the downtown portion of Hayward. Just a note - there's a Chipotle right next door. Parking is a bit tight but the staff is fantastic. They were very attentive and professional. They cooked me a great burger, made a nice shake and gave me the perfect crispy fries. This location didn't disappoint.“
“Omgoodness I have been coming to Oakland for 17 years every other weekend and have been wanting to try this place out. So good well well worth your money. I got my husband and I both single cheeseburgers my husband had the works on his just the lettuce tomato onion He's very picky he bit into his hamburger and said now this is a burger. 30 minutes after we tried our burgers we sent our friends over there. And they said how come we've never stopped here before. This is a must have burger. It's not no frozen patties either this was a great big burger“
“We love coming here during the summer. The burgers are made to order, the buns are soft and makes the burger super yummy. ? Top it off with some soft serve with fun toppings. ??? this place has indoor seating and one table outside. you can order from a window outside or at the counter.“
“I drive a lot around the Town for work and this place is always a good standby in the hills but it's right off the freeway, so if you're traveling, it's perfect. I like the al pastor burritos and the tortas. It's inside a liquor store that has a lot of nice options for adult beverages, but don't drink those if you're getting back on the highway. Take out only. Overall, decent prices, quick tasty Mexican food, coupled with a convenience store all right by the highway.“
“I must say, this burger chain has easily become my top pick. It's well-known for its generous portion of french fries, no matter what size you order. We usually opt for a small and share it. The food here is consistently fresh and tasty. Despite often being bustling, the staff manages to serve customers swiftly and effectively. The only downside is the escalating prices, which have limited my visits to only when I'm really craving their burgers.“
“The worker who goes by 'Ronald Mcdonald' is a great employee and always provides the best service! I live sooooo close to this location so i'm always here and never had a bad experience plus the mcdonald's app lets me get a lot of free things most of the time which is amazing. Not to mention that i live, breath, and die Mcdonald's. If mcdonald's was a person i would be walking down the aisle with them RN!!!!!!“
