I came all the way from Escondido and let me just say… I REALLY wish you guys had a location down south (please consider it!! 😂). My nephew and I decided to split a couple things, and I’m so glad we did because WOW.
First of all… the CRAB TOAST?! I’m in LOVE. The flavor and crunch are absolutely perfect — you don’t even need ranch or any sauce. It stands on its own and is worth every single “artery risk” 🤣🔥.
Then we got the loaded fries… and whew… just WOW. Packed with flavor, messy in the best way, and completely worth it.
Parking? Yeah, it kinda sucks… BUT trust me, it is 1000% worth the trip (and maybe the hospital visit after 😂).
Seriously though — please open a location in Escondido!! I promise we will be regulars!!

“Great place to eat before your flight. Located close by OAK International Airport. There are lots of free parking spaces available. Dining area is limited. No outdoor seating. Staff was friendly and helpful.

I got their original giant burger. It was good but there was nothing special about it. I'll come by and try their other burgers next time.

Tables need to be cleaned and chairs arranged. It was a little messy in there.“

“When I get the urge for a burger, I think Nation's! I prefer this location because the sandwiches are always well put together. Generous amounts of FRESH lettuce leaves,
several large tomato slices ( look like beefsteak variety) and onions- sometimes too much :-)- I just remove the excess. Fresh bun, tasty burger meat... The fries USED to be some of the best- they aren't so special anymore. I saw them fries being lifted from the cooker, but they were not that yummy. I will pass on the fries next time.
The staff is always pleasant. The counter and restaurant is clean... The only drawback is sometimes there are homeless loitering (not so much lately)... I usually order online and pick on schedule.“

The burgers are generously portioned and there is enough variety for anyone who finds themselves craving a burger but wants it to have unique ingredients. The average person cant afford to eat here. #4 meal is $16, but then you add $0.75 for CHEESE!! $2.00 more for bacon and $3 for avocado! “The people working there were really nice and friendly. I ordered a grilled cheese & fries. A little over $6 -not bad these days. And they were good, too. Atmosphere is not great -it’s right across from the Coliseum BART station -but it’s the only place in the immediate vicinity. I was running late to a NIN concert so hadn’t had time to grab something beforehand. There are only two sidewalk tables, so I sat on the fire hydrant. Perfectly fine for a quick bite before a show. The burger patty was well browned and full of flavor. The curly fries had a crispy crunchy bite and a tiny bit of heat. The mango shake was nice and fruity. Overall, a satisfying meal at a reasonable price.

There is no dine in seating. There is some outdoor seating, or you can walk to Lake Merritt.“
