“The iced cafe de olla is bomb! It tastes like the real deal and the cup size is worth the price. My dad got a limon cantarito and it’s very refreshing. The nieve de vainilla tastes a bit like rompope and wasn’t overly sweet. The presentation is nice on everything too. We will be coming back.“

Dietary restrictions: Has keto and dairy free (using coconut cream and/or oat milk) ice cream, ice cream with alcohol infused has a low ABV so it's consider non alcoholic (you can definitely still taste the alcohol)

“The bolo bao ice cream sandwich was the bomb! I had it with ube ice cream. The garlic fries - lots of fresh garlic with a side of bomb lemon aoili and house sauce! The best! Passionfruit green tea was perfect for the hot weather! So cute inside too! It's a smaller space and a one man show. Everything is made fresh so please be patient - it's worth the wait! “What unique flavors !!! So glad we stopped by on a hot day . They had some amazing ice cream . We loved the guava !! It was our favorite . The lemon biscoff was really good too . Just know that the shop’s location in San Dimas is located not in an obvious place, but trust me … their ice cream is out of this world!! My advice? Give the store a call before heading over as the store has very limited hours, so as not to get disappointed.“

“I bought 2 orders of the churro sundae. Comes with 2 (6 inch) churros with a scoop of ice cream of your choice. The place was great, staff was great they went above and beyond. I only had one issue. One of the churros was great crispy and chewy in the center but the other one was stale. It happened with both of my orders. I will try it out one more time to see if it happens again. Otherwise, the flavor was delicious.“

“I went in on Tuesday, the new owners were in back of me. I was telling the cashier how disappointed my daughter was, we came in on monday and it was closed. “This place is an alternative for melo melo. Quality wise and taste wise for the jelly are as good as melo melo. One thing I don’t like is the egg waffle because it wasnt not crispy. “5 stars for the service but omg we just came to try the Tiger Milk Tea with boba and oh boy avoid at all costs. Whoever thought of it had a great idea and presentation(minus the vanilla scoop making it look like chunks of cheese floating around your tea) but awful awful execution. Also did not know the brown sugar boba was popping boba and it just felt like exploding gobs of caramel with each boba, very unpleasant. Get something else!!Also big sad there's no bubblegum flavor ice cream. :(“

“Came for a treat and boy were you surprised the lady that worked there was very knowledgeable about Italy and how they make their gelato. We ended up getting the strawberry and vanilla strawberry and mango cherry and Stacie and the pistachio with the chocolate. Everything was absolutely delicious. I would’ve given a five, but you didn’t get to taste anything you just had to hope that everything was delicious. They have indoor and outdoor seating no public restroom. They do have a couple of pastries and some cakes everything is decorated really cute was really clean. Service was great. Pricing was OK along with the portion size. There’s plenty of parking and plenty of things to do in the shopping center 10 out of 10 recommend“
“Dippin dots is so fun. A great twist on ice cream that is like little ice bubbles popping and melting in your mouth. Very easy to eat and enjoy, the texture is so amusing. They have a nice selection of different flavors. The cookies and cream one was very delicious and sweet. Great spot for a quick dessert after eating.“

Parking: My girlfriend and I had the pleasure of visiting La Michoacana Ice Cream University, a Mexican ice cream shop. We were looking for snacks to take out for the movies and we were craving some esquites. And so I quickly searched one up and found this place. This is located in a plaza and they're right across from the Azusa Pacific University. And now I know why they named the shop as such. Finding parking is really easy, I had no trouble finding parking although it was at night. But I'm pretty sure during the day you can easily find parking there.Food Selection: We ordered two small esquites – for the uninitiated, esquites are Mexican snacks made with corn kernels, similar to elote but served warm in disposable cups, minus the cob. We also ordered a fruit bowl topped with chamoy and tajin. While everything was delicious, the standout was definitely the fruit bowl, with the chamoy and tajin. It was flavorful and filling. (I will attach pictures of the food for reference.)Ambiance: Stepping inside, the shop was very clean, creating a welcoming atmosphere. I noticed in the front of the shop that they have free Wi-Fi but it was password protected. So I'm assuming that you need to ask one of the staff for the password if you want to study there for a while.Staff and Service: Though I didn't catch our server/cashier's name, he was attentive and friendly throughout our visit. I really like the fact that before handling the food, he washed his hands before attending to us– a small yet crucial detail that deserves commendation.Recommendation: I highly recommend La Michoacana Ice Cream University for anyone seeking some delicious Mexican snacks and ice cream! As a first-timer at a La Michoacana establishment, I was thoroughly impressed and satisfied with the experience.
