It's run by a really cool couple. I'd say their food is definitely a strong 4 but their service and how nice they are bumps it up to a 5. There's plenty of seating inside. It's not huge but if you need tables for large parties of 8 to 10, they have those as well as smaller tables for parties of 4 or 6. There's plenty of parking outside. I've visited numerous times over the last few years and I'd say everything we've eaten so far from beef chow fun to hainan chicken hovers around 4 stars. Their hainan chicken is bone-in unlike Cluck 2 Go. Their portion size like their pork chop dishes (i.e ging do pai gwut) is a really good value (especially now a days) and their wok hay for their stir fries and chow fun is good. “I've never been to any other skewer restaurant and came to this place twice within a week or so, so this is a review based on that background info. The restaurant is located on the second floor of Pearl Plaza. Your best bet at parking during peak hours is in the parking structure to the right of the plaza. The door to the restaurant is a bit hidden and just looks like a wooden wall but when you get closer to it, it opens automatically like a sliding door. The first time I came was around 7:30 pm on a Thursday night (party of 5) and the second time was around 4:30 pm on a Sunday (party of 3). We didn't have a reservation the first time because it was an impromptu decision to eat there and we were seated right away. I made a reservation for the second time just in case and was also seated right away because the restaurant was empty at the time. Each table comes with roasted peanuts and two types of dipping salts/spices for each person. They have plenty of different types of skewers to choose from so there's something for everyone. They also have appetizers and already cooked dishes you can order. It may seem like the skewers will take a long time to cook but it actually goes by fairly quickly. The servers were really attentive both times I went. I will say that it is a bit pricey compared to something similar like KBBQ since it's not all you can eat. Both times I spent about $40 something but you do leave extremely full. Definitely recommend a try!“

Dolan special tea was nice and floral with a hint of honey. Definitely a must with every order. Even better that it came with endless refills of hot water to keep brewing the tea. Even after 5 refills of the hot water the tea did not taste like it got diluted at all. Shredded potato dish was nice and had a decent amount of spice to it. Samsa was super flaky and filled with a well seasoned ground beef. Paired well with the pickled cabbage. This is what I wish the Porto's meat pie tasted like. If they sold this frozen I would buy a dozen just so I can make it at home. Fried naan and beef was good. Honestly was more naan than beef. In our order it was around 5 percent beef and 94 percent fried naan and 1 percent veggies. Dish was good but wish there was more beef. Big plate chicken was a very generous portion but we did feel that it was a bit on the salty side. Chicken was cooked perfectly and the hand pulled noodles was delicious. “If you are into spicy Chinese food, then you will love this place. This eatery serves Chengdu style food (a sub-part of Szechuan cuisine). It had the same 麻辣 taste for all of their dishes （literal translation: numb & hot pepper spicy) as in a typical Szechuan dish. Numbing effects came from black & white peppercorns, which you can taste quite distinctively. Thhis style of food is known as Maocai 冒菜(translates from local dialect: heat the food); , which derived from the hot spicy soup with all kinds of herbs pour over the ingredients creating steam (as in 冒烟as in “smoking”）just before serving to the patrons. You can choose from the menu or pick your own from the buffet bar and you will pay based on the weight of your selections. Once weighted, the kitchen will cook your concoction for you based on your selection of the sauce. All sauces were spicy and numbing. You can also choose lite spiciness, mid spiciness or extreme spiciness. This is the first time I’d tried this and I actually enjoyed the numbing and hot peppers flavor very much. I pride myself on eating spicy food, but I opted for lite spiciness here and it was plenty spicy for me. The prices were reasonable and the quantity was fulfilling for the items on the menu.
