“My husband picked up coffee from Groggy Scallywag Coffee Shop twice in November 2023 while we were in town for vacation. It was the BEST coffee we've had from a coffee shop anywhere. On his second visit, he ordered me the Mocha hot and a Carmel Macchiato for himself. I don't typically like the Carmel Macchiato he would get at other establishments but I asked my husband to try it and it was AMAZING! I wish we had found this place sooner. He had picked up the coffee on our way out of town and I seriously contemplated turning around to get more. The service was also wonderful and very welcoming. We will definitely be back the next time we're in town! The 5 stars this establishment has are very well deserved!“

“These types of coffee and brew houses are almost impossible to find if you live in a metro area. The staff was friendly and made you feel as if you lived in the area.I knew that trying to go to a Starbucks that was over a 10 minute drive away when this one was right around the corner from the hotel that we staying at would not be logical.It’s one of those places that you can get together with someone, share a cup of whatever you order, relax, have a great conversation, and even chat with the locals who walk by.“

“Discovered Luna during a Cayucos stay two years ago. Seek it out whenever I’m nearby. Excellent breakfast menu. The avocado toast and the granola-yogurt-fruit combo are the standard by which I compare all others. Kitchen doesn’t open until 8:00 AM, bit the fresh pastries are available at opening. Excellent coffee and tea, too.“
