“Our favorite pizza place in Los Osos or Baywood Park to go to. They have a great local on tap beer selection. Thursday night is trivia night so it can be quite busy.

Parking: Sometimes you have to park near the other businesses in their lot and walk a few extra steps when it gets busy.

People often talk about Noi's Thai food in downtown Los Osos, but in our opinion, Lotus Thai tastes way better! On holiday and for me, trying to find a good vegan meal is like searching for the Holy Grail!

And boy did the tempeh tacos deliver!

Literally can't get any fresher veggies, which were piled higher that Bishop's peak (locals will appreciate the reference)!

It was 20 minutes of enjoying all the yummy veggies and then was like oh yeah, have discovered the tempeh tacos finally! Not a criticism but just pointing out how big of a serve they give you.

I desperately want to go back but live very far out of town. If I were a local, this eatery would quickly become one of my regular go-to spots!“

“Nice place but... We visited this beautiful restaurant on July 30th For drinks and appetizers. We sat outside on the patio and it was lovely, the food was delicious and the wine very enjoyable. We recognized that we were seated at the table for about 2 1/2 - 3 hours so we continued to order appetizers and dessert while we were enjoying our wine and we also planned on leaving a generous tip. Toward the end of our stay as we were ordering our final glass of wine and dessert and were told by the waitress that she could not serve us anymore alcohol and and it has something to do with the ABC but she could not explain exactly what the issue was. Being in my 60's and never being denied service in my entire life, I was quite taken aback. We were served the dessert but no more alcohol. We paid our bill and walked down the street to another establishment where we continued to have our final glass of wine and watch the sunset and then walk back to the hotel. I'm still baffled by what occurred.“

They now have 2 patios—the new one in front is a positive addition, and the original one is still lovely with all the garden plants. “Chapala is the BEST. I ordered My taco salad that was made wrong. I took It back and explained it was no problem I just Would like a new one made. As I was Waiting, the owner or head chef, unsure of his name, took care of my issue quickly and said come on over and have a seat, pulled out my chair for me with a bowl of chips and salsa. I was In no rush or upset by any means, just wanted the best taco salad in the world with no beans!! They have my upmost respect, business and recommendation.“

Had the best, tender and flavorful roast beef sandwich- a jailhouse (roast beef, pastrami & provolone - a Reuben and calamari strips. It was all perfect!“

“I had lunch at this restaurant while doing a road trip through the PCH. I was really satisfied with the flavor of the food. Perhaps, one of the best Thai food I have ever had. Would love to go back if I ever do that road trip again.“

“Well, we all know I go to a lot of wineries. This is one of my new favorites. It is one of only two champagnes that I’ve ever truly liked enough that I bought an entire case to have shipped home. I also bought two of the desert wines. Honestly, every single one of the Reds I had was smooth and delicious and I wish I had them all in my collection. It’s one that I will have to go back to even if it cost me an entire airline flight just to go here. I want to spend more time at this one. They are all small batches and are not available anywhere else. Worth every penny. It’s on the corner not the one next to. It is just a liquor store that does tastings. I don’t know why Google maps has it that way. This is a true winery tasting room. And on top of that they have a lot of cute gifts. The staff was wonderful. The owner was magnificent. “Laguna grill is SLOs best kept secret ?‍? Tried this spot about 3 maybe four years ago? I’ve been hooked ever since. I love a good cheeseburger, and have tried most in the county. Laguna Grill still takes first place every time. The meat is clean, and is seasoned to perfection. The presentation alone is enough to make you come back. Ingredients are fresh and flavorful. Hits the spot every time! Forget Firestone grill, they got nothing on Laguna. Keep up the great food and good service!! ?“

His interest in the matter went above and beyond expectations. His willingness to make things right, was heartfelt- that's sometimes hard to encounter now-a-days.
