“The food was very good. One person had to flag staff down because she ordered a dish which included chicken, there was no chicken in the dish. However, a side of chicken was provided, we wish sauce was also supplied. Once our food arrived to the table, we saw our waitress once. She disappeared, we needed water, napkins. But like I said other than the mishap with the chicken mole the food was great. There was a wait of an hour. Shame on me for having a May 10th birthday. Take it from me this place is worth the wait

“A Hidden Gem for Breakfast! I recently had the pleasure of dining at Pancake, a cute restaurant with a lounge-like atmosphere that includes a bar. From the moment I stepped inside, I could tell this place was something special. It feels like a bit of a hidden secret—there wasn't a big crowd, which added to its charm. The food? Absolutely amazing. The presentation was top-notch, and every dish looked as good as it tasted. You can tell the kitchen puts effort into every plate. I was especially impressed by how reasonably priced everything was—quite a surprise in today's economy, where dining out often feels expensive. The service was another highlight. From the bartender to the waitstaff, everyone was incredibly friendly, attentive, and supportive. They made me feel welcome and ensured I had a great experience. “I was in the area for work and decided to stop in for breakfast. There was no wait—I was seated right away and had my drink in front of me within minutes. I ordered the Hobo Omelet with home fries (topped with onions and peppers) and white toast.

Service was fast and friendly, which made for a great start to the day. The omelet was delicious, with a nice, even mix of ingredients throughout. The home fries were a generous portion and perfectly cooked with just the right amount of crispy edges and flavorful peppers and onions. The toast was nicely browned, buttery, and served with both strawberry and grape jelly—though strawberry is always the clear winner in my book.

Overall, it was a great breakfast spot, and I definitely plan on coming back to try more of the menu!“

“This place is an old school Korean restaurant but the food is excellent. As someone who recently moved from Koreatown LA to a gateway city, I had to find my go to Korean restaurant and I think this is one of my favorite places. We like to get the Uhndaegoo jorim (braised black cod). Some of our other favorites are the dahk gae jang, as well as the bohtsahm. The atmosphere is very modest and simple, but this is the kind of place that suits me.

I highly recommend this place both for Korean traditionalists as well as non-Koreans who just want some really good quality Korean food.“

“My company used Crossroads for a very long project that required catering every weekday for over three weeks. Helen was quick on delivery, she was willing to work with us to add variation to the lunches and her prices could not be beat. The employees we were training highly complimented all the food. Sandwiches, wraps, tacos, bento bowls and salads. All of it was delicious. I cannot thank Helen a Crossroads enough for her hard work and wonderful food.“

I've read a lot of stuff about this place having a rude owner, but the man who helped today was everything but rude.

I came to the door not realizing it was order to go only, but he was kind enough to walk me through his menu process (QR code) and even walked the food over to my car. The next parking lot over. The owners name is David, and he informed Naka's broiler has been serving the Compton area for 66 years! This establishment is a local treasure and Should be treated as such.

“Had a tasty experience at No Toro Cafe this morning! Brought my family to enjoy some great food! We had the Banana Nutella pancakes, Chocolate Chip and Banana French toast, the Sniper Scramble, and more! We definitely will be coming back for breakfast! We were seated quickly, and the service was top tier! Very welcoming and gave us a family feel! I definitely recommend this place!

“If you're looking for a good spot to eat close to the DTLA court houses, check out the Galero Grill in the Cathedral complex. A five minute walk from the court houses with good food at reasonable prices. Plus, there's a lovely patio with tables to enjoy your meal in peace (other than the Cathedral chimes on the hour). It's run by the Patina group so, although the food isn't fancy, the quality is very good.“

“I went there for a banana ? cream pie for my son's birthday party unfortunately they premade the pies and they put walnuts for topping I was hoping they had almonds my son is allergic to walnuts so I had to go to Marie callender's for the pie. The main reason I go here is because of their Cali Cob salad is phenomenal. As a person that has tried lots of high end salads at other establishments, this salad is one of the best cobs I’ve ever had.

Almost as great as Joey’s in DTLA. The vegetables are very fresh, the dressing is excellent. I love that it has a lot of chicken pieces that are delicious and egg along with bacon pieces. It’s a solid salad for the price and one of my favorite salads of all time. I highly recommend it.

“We always seem to get the same waitress and she's on point. Always kind, anticipate your needs and checks on you appropriately. We always go on a Saturday and it is busy and she juggles very well. Love breklakfast here, but food got one less star because the lunch not so hot. I ordered fish and shrimp. Just stick to their specialty, which is breakfast. Get the seafood at a legit seafood house. See y'all next month for breakfast!“

“My boyfriend and I have been coming here regularly for almost a year and we absolutely love it. Our favorite waiter, Andres, is always so bright and welcoming, and his service is top notch. The food quality is delicious and consistent, and the kitchen delivers our modifications perfectly. The atmosphere is always welcoming, the place is clean; the music is always enjoyable but not too loud; whether it’s busy or slow, we always get served quickly and our food is truly always perfect. We don’t know the name of manager who sometimes helps us, but he’s also really pleasant and delivers the kind of service that makes us keep coming back.
