“Great food and filling the burritos and the quesadillas are 5.50 sorry I don't have a picture but I'm a big guy and it filled me up! The have red and green salsa, they have cilantro and onions, salsa de guacamole, rebanadas, cucumbers AND pepinos.Only reason it's 4 stars is because it was really dirty“
“I ordered the Milpa Chicken bowl ?. It was good. It cost around $11.00. I enjoyed it. I also liked the green sauce better than the red sauce. I was really satisfied with the peach citrus honey tea. It cost $4.00. My tongue always feels refreshed when I drink a tasty iced tea like the peach citrus honey tea. The drink was perfect ?. I appreciate ? the good service here. The only downside is that you have to look for parking in the street and maybe pay for parking.“
“A true gem in the seafood experience - the urchin ceviche was out of this world, very fresh. The grilled octopus was phenomenal - fresh with avocado, tomatoes and cilantro rice with beans. The seafood soup was very flavorful and amazing - very fresh as well. The shrimp tacos were great - Great preparation of fresh seafood - Highest Recommendation for all who enjoy seafood - all will enjoy and return !!“
“Omg I don't even know where to start. This place is just amazing. Please please visit it and support this local place. We need it to stay for many years to come. Everything is vegan and actually very healthy. Unlike other places that claim to be healthy this local place is actually one of the healthiest. They use organic, clean, fresh, and delicious ingredients, including healthy cooking oil, not toxic and inflammatory seed oils. I have tried many dishes and they have been nutritious, comforting, and delicious. My mom is an amazing hispanic cook, and I grew up with many of these dishes. She has competition now LOL!I tried their pupusas and they're the absolute best, fresh maize dough (masa), no lard, not greasy, no unhealthy and toxic vegan cheese, simply great. Also, their enchiladas are devine, they're fresh, great, and delicious. They make them to order and not to mentioned their tortillas are hand made, yum! I also tried their bfast tofu with cactus (nopales) and it was extraordinary. Deserts are also delicious! Also, the service here is delightful. The owner is very friendly, kind, funny, and caring. The ambiance is also pleasant, relaxing, and cozy. Please don't think it twice and give them a try, you won't regret itVegetarian options: Menu is all vegan“
“This is my first time trying Korean-Latin cuisine, which is so delicious! The owner suggested ordering the kalbi cheese fries which I'm glad that I ordered it! I got the rock combination plate and double cheeseburger as well! They have a self serve salad bar near the front which is convenient! The staff here so very friendly and it was a little empty at that time we came in so they were able to help us out! I loved how they put the posters around the store!“
“Highly recommend this amazing delicious restaurant! The host/owner was very friendly and welcoming! The food was exquisite and homemade. ?? Will recommend to all of my friends in Fresno to come stop by, when they're visiting Los Angeles. Gracias muchacha, somos los muchachos que El señor Nima nos invito a comer. ?“
“The food was excellent and fast. The place is clean and nice family ambient this is not the first time that I come here but I really like the food here.Parking: It looks like it was full, but we always find a spot soon.Kid-friendliness: There are plenty of choices for the kids to eat.“
“Loved the food. Delicious chicken with potatoes, summer tomato salad with excellent dressings: pomegranate vinaigrette & ash onion dressing, the vegan pesto with vegetables and bread was delicious also. Outside seats are warmed, which is very nice. Everything you taste, you taste quality.“
“Horchata was bomb. Tacos are small usually its two tortillas and spill-over meat makes a second. Tortillas were somewhat undercooked. Other than being small gourmet playhouse looking portions it was good. It was more once in a lifetime kinda meal not beefy hearty get full go to work filling kinda meal. Its more like a Go alone buy a second round of the sampler kind of meal. Its pricey but worth it.Parking: Dont wear plaid or red or blue. There was a face tattoo guy leaving the parking lot.“
“Birria is on point, this is what I usually get when I go here. I feel like the asada is marinated with parmesan cheese seasoning, which is a bit offsetting. But the red sauce is up there with king taco. I stayed in this area for about 2 months and this was my go-to spot.“
“I should've taken a picture. 1st. The Asada fries. I challenge you, to find a family owned restaurant, that make better asada fries. 2nd. The chili cheese dog, taste GOOD! They have a pastrami sandwich, that's next on my list. Leaving the place and getting on the freeway. That's a headache. But overall. Definitely coming back.“
“Ordered for the first time tonight and I was blown away. We ordered the Picante Beef & Tofu & Chicken Saltado - each dish was filled with so much flavor. The picante cream sauce is one of the best sauces I've had in a very long time. The service is even better. Can't wait to try more of the menu! Thank you Inka Wasi crew!!“
“We went for a pre-show dinner on a Saturday night, and it is very convenient to get to the Music Center. As others mention, it is a little hard to find, and we ran a bit late, but the staff at the restaurant was wonderfully accommodating. The place had a nice high design vibe and we were seated at a table with a spectacular view. There was a massive dance party going on downtown, so the noise level was pretty "lively." The crowd at the restaurant was mostly 40+ but some younger diners were also present. We ordered for the three of us the fried sea bream, carrot hummus and patates bravas. At first we ordered the grilled sea bream, but the waiter smartly warned us that it has a strong fish flavor, which I detest, and we were all happy with the milder fried version. At first we were not sure how to eat the whole fish, which was not fileted at the table, but then figured out that most of the flesh had been fried separately in pieces, served on the same plate. There was no side dish, only two dipping sauces, which seemed odd for a dish that cost $60+. The fish was tasty, but at that price, it should be mind blowing. Or enormous. It was neither. The carrot hummus wasn't really hummus, I don't think, at least not in the traditional sense of having a base of garbanzo beans. The server told us it was almond based, but also had tahini like traditional tahini. It also had what tasted like sweet roasted carrots and some spices. We enjoyed it, even if it wasn't especially memorable, and the portion was quite small. The potatoes were fine, although not really "brava" (spicy) at all. The server made sure we had our check in time to get to the show, and she could not have been kinder.“
“Pulled pork sandwich 4/10 - pork was old, chunky and dry. They covered it in cheddar cheese which is a sin. Bread was too crunchy. Disaster. They need to fix it or take it off the menu.Potato salad 9/10 - some of the best but looks store boughtChicken wings 9/10 - large, chunky and juicy. Well seasoned.Service 9/10 - friendly and attentive, no issues.“
“Good amounts of meat for me , birria plate was pretty damn good, don’t know if it was because i was hungry, or the birria was just good but i loved it! Consome with the birria was great, beans and rice were so salty though so thats a star down. Pretty good birria though“
“I love this little place. I come regularly for the revuelta pupusas. Not greasy. Other joints give me a bad belly. Not this one. The asada torta also hits the spot. The ladies who run it cook food that I imagine they would make for their own families!“
“If it could give it 6 stars I would. Impeccable meal. Samuel and Manny are producing a world class flavor and experience. More high end Japanese-Peruvian fusion. Perfect for date night. All of the recommendations were spot on. Don’t leave without trying the Snapper Ceviche, Kanpachi Tostada, and the Peanut Butter Ball dessert.“
“This is the place to go if your Hungary. Great homemade by hand plate by plate one at a time. Lots of regular people here and some personalitys too. Three 75" tvs on the wall for sports watching, big bathrooms. The food is of the hook here everything is the bomb. Lots of choices, lots of food for the money. And everybody is family here and everybody knows your name kinda place. Always a satisfying experience here.“
“Outstanding pastries! They have samples of many pastries and we liked the kringle and the butter slice one. Both had some fillings like custard and almonds. The pastries were so flaky and delicious. The shop was super clean and the other pastries did look good.“
“No matter if you are chilean or not. This is worth giving a try for the most traditional chilean food.Try the sopaipillas, empanadas (very good) and pastel de choclo. Really took me all the way back home. And don't forget to say "Hola" to the tables around you!! Everybody will enjoy talking to you in "chileno" and drag you to visit the country.“
“This is a great place to dine in or out in the patio. Parking is small but Caveman kitchen usually has parking, ask the security to assist you with that. The menu includes a variety of delicious plates. The service is excellent! Highly recommend you to take your family there.“
“Best food all around highly recommend anything on their list they are the bomb.Vegetarian options: They are good.Kid-friendliness: They are so awesome with the little ones.Wheelchair accessibility: They are awesomeDietary restrictions: They are the best“
“DAMA is one of my favorite restaurants. All the food options are really great, the drinks are well-made, the service is amazing, and the atmosphere is very nice. It's a beautiful restaurant and the bar is really cool. The service is always very friendly and welcoming. Lastly, you can't go wrong with anything on the menu. I come for the food and drinks, then keep coming back because of the ambience and great service.“
“Found this cevichera hidden on a strip of Hispanic grocery stores and barber shops. Small and cozy. Reminds me of places in Puerto Vallarta. All of it fresh and lots of pride put into cleanliness and honest service. ** Cash only ** Had the ATM break down on me while dispensing money and they offered to cover missing money and take it up with the bank later. No one does that honest transaction anymore. No one... Speaks a lot for the integrity of the business.“
“One of the best coffee shops in LA. Cafecito cubano con leche is one of the best I’ve tried so far. It’s strong as well as smooth at the same time. And tres leches muffin was just delicious. Highly recommend coffee aficionados to check out and try this “
“First and foremost I want to thank Chef Juanito for the exquisite service he gave me. I ordered a carne asada burrito and let me tell you it wasn't any ordinary burrito. Great seasoning overall and just a very nice human being this Juanito is. Will definitely be coming back more often.“
“When you go to an art gallery, you expect to enjoy art. When you go to a nice restaurant, you expect excellent food. At The Art Room, you find both. The food is exceptionally good here and the atmosphere is very comfortable. There isn't a single dish here that is not above average - which means everything I've tried has been more than satisfactory.Vegetarian options: Several vegetarian optionsParking: Street metered parking“
“Yummy! We stopped to try their empanadas and tried 3 different ones: chicken, spinach, and ham & cheese. The 3 were served with pico de gallo and guacamole….they all were delicious with very beautiful hand made crusts. We really enjoyed them and would definitely come back. ☺️??Parking: Parking is only a few spaces along the front of the building and some are handicapped labeled so get there early.“
“This café truly adheres to a decent arrangement of guidelines technique on the most proficient method to deal with visitors or clients. I'm cheerful on the grounds that the waiters truly made us agreeable. I will certainly prescribe this café to everybody!“
“Definitely a little restaurant with delicious Guatemalan food. I'm picky with Guatemalan food as I lived there for a few years. They definitely serve delicious food, I lived in Guatemala for many years and I'm used to the chapin seasoning and this place has it.“
“Elizabeth's Star Rating System1 star = Terrible, would not recommend, will tell family and friends to avoid2 stars = I won't be back but you might enjoy it3 stars = I'll be back eventually4 stars = I'll definitely be back5 stars = I'm telling my friends and family about this place!PARKING: Small parking lotFOOD:The lengua tacos I ordered were generously filled with meat and the handmade tortillas were a nice touch. The standout dish for me was the menudo - hands down the best in the area. The flavor was clean and no off-taste, and it came with homemade tortillas as well. I tried both the meat chicharrone and the skin-only options, and I found the latter to be much crispier and more enjoyable. The meat one tasted a bit too oily for my taste.SERVICE:As a takeout experience, there wasn't much in terms of service besides ordering and picking up the food. However, the staff was friendly and accommodating during the ordering process.VALUE:I found the prices to be reasonable for the amount and quality of food I received.CLEANLINESS:The food was well-packaged and everything arrived clean and intact.OVERALL:I highly recommend Calimex Restaurant for anyone in the area looking for authentic Mexican food. The lengua tacos were generously portioned, and the standout dish for me was the menudo. Although the service was only for ordering and picking up, the staff was friendly and accommodating. The prices were reasonable, and everything arrived clean and intact“
“We drove around yesterday and found this hidden gem! Omg was i suprised! We ended up getting the Molcajete for 2 and ended up leaving with leftovers! Huge portion for the buck! Plus fresh hand made tortillas topped it off! My other family members got the huge packed quesadilla for my grandson..amazing! The 3 tacos plate combo with beans and rice! Delicious! And the Carnes asada and shrimp plate! Did not disappoint! They got fresh aguas frescas, we got the horchata. And the employees there were so polite and were so attentive to us. Im definitely coming back to try everything on there menu! Stomach fell in love with this place. Need to visit for the prices! Help support small family business like these!Vegetarian options: They have the options to provide a vegan meal as long as you order specifically what you want them to add to your order and im sure if you tell them you are vegan, they will make sure to attend to your accommodations.Parking: There is parking in back by the Barber Shop or 2hr parking in front. Plenty of time to eat.Kid-friendliness: They got kids menu“
“This is our second time coming here. It is a treat for us to come down here because we drive over two hours from San Diego. My boyfriend is Guatemalan so this food reminds him of his mom's cooking. The food is absolutely delicious and never disappoints. And the employees are very nice and attentive. I ordered the Chow Mein and it was my first time trying this dish and it was delicious I loved the chicken, noodles, carrots, and celery. I was surprised that it came with ketchup on the side. I tested a little bit on the side, it was not bad at all but I prefer it without it or some hot sauce. It has enough flavor! I also ordered the Strawberry Banana shake it was delicious, and it was a lot of food so I was very full after. They started us off with two bean tostadas that have crumbled cheese on top. It's simple but it's so delicious. I like these so much I ordered the tostadas that have one salasa, avocado, and black beans. They are so good I highly recommend them. We did order some coffee and the lady who helped us offered us refills which my bf happily accepted. My bf ordered the creamy chicken and he was very satisfied. I can't wait to come back here again! We need a location in San Diego!“
“The original arepa was filled to the brim. Sweet plantains, cheese, and black beans. Not sure if it's quite a $9 item but it was good overall. We've heard there are better arepas elsewhere but we're still looking.Service was fast. The atmosphere was busy.“
“If you are a vegetarian or have dietary restrictions this is the place you are looking for. The menu is full of veggie options and let's not forget about their 1L homemade juices and smoothies.Tree house restaurant with a huge tree in the front, that has birds talking and singing all evening.“
“The prices in the photos are not updated in the photos...but what I remember and what I paid 2 days ago:Tacos $1.75Burritos, cakes, quesadillas are worth $8.50Mules $3.00Sodas $1Small waters $1.50And that's all I remember, BUT the food is delicious....there are like 3 tables to eat in the place but it doesn't matter because many order takeout. They gave us a lot of sauces, onions, cucumbers, radishes and the waiting time was short, I think, no more than 15 minutes....but because we arrived at 6...later you can see that it gets more crowded. Oh, I forgot to mention that on Mondays the sign says they are 2 for 1 on tacos al pastor BUT they told me that the current promo is tacos al pastor on Mondays for $1...which is still super cool. In general they are 10 out of 10.“
